They came out to give me a quote and were able to fix the issue that day with my supplies. I was later charged for the work that was done even though they did it with my supplies and it was supposed to be a quote. I paid the money but called the owner. He apologized and refunded my money. All in all I was happy with them and they fixed everything. I will use them in the future.

It went very well. We had a problem with leakage where our back porch met the roof. It had been repaired in the past and reoccured. Larry Kolb, the owner, suggested he could apply the roof over the porch as well, thereby ending the problem. He was the only one of the 4 roofers I consulted who suggested that. The work was done in a timely manner and clean-up was good, although a few nails were left in the flower bed. My only complaint is that I had a follow-up question regarding the ridge vent and Mr. Kolb did not return my call after I left a message with the office. It wasn't that important so I didn't pursue it. The new roof comes with an excellent warranty and his price was less than other quotes I received and the warranty is better. I am very satisfied with this company.

They corrected another company mistakes. They did a very good job.

They were very professional. They were very prompt. There was a hurricane that took out or damaged many of roofs. It was impossible to get someone out to put my roof on. They were the only one that returned my phone calls. He called back a few months later and eventually came out a month after that. He answered all of my questions when I spoke to him. They came and did the job and billed me for the roof. They were neat and cleaned up well.

I was very pleased with the attention to detail and the excellent work done by this family owned company. They were efficient but they took all the time needed to build an excellent new roof. They cleaned up all materials each day of the job. All of their employees were experienced and very courteous. I would use this company again if I moved and needed roofing and I would be proud to recommend them to others. They did everything they said they would do at the price they quoted in the estimate. The price was higher than other bids I received, but no one else offered the taper down process and that is exactly what was needed here. In addition to building this excellent new roof, Mr. Kohl and his father assisted me in determining the source of a water leak into my master bedroom. With that information, I was able to persuade the windows and siding company I used to replace and repair a portion of their work. I can't thank them enough for going that extra mile.

On 2 separate occasions more than a week apart, I called Long Point to obtain a quote for replacing my roof. On both occasions, I was told that someone would call me back soon to discuss the project and set up a time to give a quote. On both occasions, this call was never returned!

Long Point Roofing is a family owned business that has been around for a long time. They gave a fair quote, but the real reason we chose them to do the job was because they are family owned. They are not a fly by night operation. They did quality work and arrived when expected.
