Horrible, horrible. They ripped me off a good $6000 because they said I needed an air conditioning unit when I really didn't so I'm paying on that. Another time I used John Moore, there was two other incidents. There was one where I called for my garbage disposal. They're wicked. They will cut lines just so they can do work on it to get paid. I talked to a gentleman that used to work for them and he worked for them and that's exactly what they did. He doesn't work for them but he said he actually saw them cut a line. He would work with them and they actually cut an air conditioning line and the people's thing stopped working and said they needed a new one and charged them to fix it when they broke it. I'm not lying. This happened personally, I called them to fix my garbage disposal. I told them it's not working and tried everything and called them to come out. He looked at it and said I needed a new garbage disposal. He wrote up the plans and everything and he said it was going to be $130 something to get the new one and then with the labor it was going to be $200 something. I though, "let me wait" I told my husband "let me wait and I will think about it". I started to say, "okay". So, when he left I said, "let me look at this thing" because I'm very hands-on and I like to fix a lot things. I looked down there and saw a red button. I pushed this reset button in and it worked. I called them back and raised h*ll. I said, "you were going to charge me over $200 and give me a new garbage disposal and all he had to do was reset the button". That was a set-up. I mean, who's not going to know that? It worked and it worked from then on. And another thing I got into them was, was about 2 years ago because I had gotten my air conditioning unit with them about 4 years ago. But, two years ago I had to call them because they put the unit in a while back. I said, "my air went off. It's broken, I need to figure out what's going on. You put the unit in, can you come and look at it?" They sent someone out and they went up in the attic to look at it. They said it was the wiring and sometimes mice or rats (roof rats) will chew at it and sometimes it will go off. They said, "well, this will be the charge. We have to go through the wall to find the wiring. We have to do some connections". They gave me a price that came to hundreds of dollars - $400 or $500 - and I said, "well, let me look at a smaller company". Come to find out I hired someone else that was a whole lot cheaper and they said there was nothing wrong with your wiring. It was the circuit board that had gone out in the attic. The guy did the circuit board for me and fixed the panel for the air conditioning unit. John Moore had me with no air with my boys for 7 days in the middle of the summer. It was like in July. They said it was over a weekend. It went out on a Wednesday and it didn't get back on until the following Wednesday. They're terrible. And they tried to rip me off on wiring. DO NOT USE JOHN MOORE FOR ANYTHING. They are a rip-off They conned me out of a good $10,000. They're all over the place. They have pest control, plumbing, everything, beside clear out your own house. They offer everything. It was almost 100 degrees in the house. It was detrimental. And, I had young kids in the house. One was 4 years old at the time and the other was 8. It was 92 degrees in here. It was hot and we had no where to go. It was horrible. They are horrible. I've told friends of mine, don't ever use them for anything. They will rip you off and people don't realize it. They don't know, especially older people. They hear John Moore, like my parents, they're up in age, and they've used them for decades and we finally realized they're ripping us off. When we really found out, we were like "what are we doing?" Then I caught them with the garbage disposal and hearing from two other technicians that I've hired outside of them, two different people that didn't even know each other, said, "yeah, John Moore, they will rip you off". I used them for pest control. That was another thing I used them for. They seemed real nice, they aren't going to say anything, but I had ear wigs, horrible, hundreds and thousands, we saw them crawling up the wall. Once crawled up my pajama pants and bit me on the leg. Apparently, they couldn't get rid of them. I called and called and called and they said they are hard to get rid of, but finally I just used another. I used them for years, and finally, I was like, "this is not getting any better", so that part, I'm not really sure of. They are hard to get rid of and I haven't see any. But, I know I called them numerous time, like 15 or 20 times. But, like I said, I can't really say yay or nay on that part, but I did use them on pest control. It was about $6500 for the installation. It was installed fine. We did not need the unit, come to find out, our neighbors, who had the same type unit, our neighborhood was built one after another, and they had the same unit. I was telling the neighbors that "man, we need a new unit already", and they said, "no you don't, not from 2008". 4 years for an air conditioning unit. They had it pretty quick. They had that unit out there the next day or two. As soon as I signed the contract, they had the payment plan, and took the credit card, boom, they had it out there, but we didn't need it. But they wanted my money. They're just a rip off and they're expensive.

The technician was punctual. He was knowledgable. He was very frank about the condition of the unit. He gave me different options for a new ac and thoroughly explained the differences between the choices. He set up the appointment for me, for the install. After the install techs had completed the job. The first ac tech actually called and asked if everything went well. He came the next day and double checked the work as well. I'm extremely satisfied with the purchase and with my interaction with the technician at John Moore.

The source of the water leaks into my wife's ground floor office was misdiagnosed as being the metal roof flashing over the bay window where silicone sealant was cracked. Roman G. came to perform flashing sealant repair, but took the initiative to report to me that the problem was actually missing/eroded mortar from between and under bricks in the brick ledge above the metal roof. He repaired not only the mortar in the brick courses but also sealed metal roof flashing. After the initial misstep, the exterior work was completed over two afternoons. Although I had to watch closely to make sure that short cuts were not taken, once we all got aligned on what was to be done inside, the interior work performed was of good quality. The drywall and painting crew (2 men) was punctual and diligently completed the scope of work over two days. Importantly, since we were paying cash (the total was below our homeowner's policy deductible amount), the work began and was completed within 3 days of the estimator's visit and less than 10 days after the Harvey storm left the area.

Very well. Mr. Ahmed is always courteous and responsive to what we need done. He always calls ahead of time to tell us when he will be in our area for our regular treatments, and is flexible if we have a conflict.

Great very professional explain everything that was done in detail. John Moore for the most part has excellent profession men working in their staff.

Mr. Cruz did an extraordinary job. Cruz did the work of two men, and when he finished at 9:30 Saturday night everything looked great. Very happy with his work. He worked tirelessly for 3 days to help us meet our deadline and did so with a smile and good cheer. I would not hesitate to use Mr. Cruz again.

Called late on Thursday. Asked for and was willing to pay for emergency service. The person on the phone said they have no emergency service, but said maybe there was a late evening slot available or Friday. The person on the phone didn't seem to know what they were doing. They asked twice for Name, Address, Phone Number, Email. But they knew I had done business with them before. It took 15 minutes just to collect my information. When it came time to schedule service, they offered up Tuesday. Now why could not tell me at the first of the call that they didn't have anyone available until Tuesday? They wasted my time. To add insult to the call, they wanted the charge the $69 service fee today. I have used John Moore before, but if you can't get by the person on the phone, it is just not worth it.

They were real expensive but they were really good.

Terry was very sharp to comply with the schedule of the appointment. Regarding it professional skills he is very knowledgeable and willing provide customers with detailed evaluation of the problems. He also find solutions in a quick way.

They are very professional. They give you a quote and stick to it . The work has always been very good.

Christian assessed the problem, pulled out his flashlight and equipment, and was in and out in 15 or 20 minutes. Happily, I had purchased a new disposal in case the old one could not be fixed and will be able to return it for full credit! Some technicians would have installed the new one for a higher charge! Nice to find such honesty and professionalism!

The thing I like about them most they always come out give you an estimate on weather they do the work or not. They are always throughout. Price they are in the range. They can be a little pricier but getting a company that has a reputation, that has will fall back on their work. If something was not done right they will send someone else. They are not as bad as some guys. I would use them again in the future.

They cut little squares in my wall and decorative wallpaper and just painted white over it. That was the best I could get them to do. I went back and forth for a month just to get them to do that. I sent them a letter saying I would go to the newspaper. I don't ever want those people back in my house. They don't do what they say they are going to do. I would not recommend them for anything. They did not fix the pipes in the wall as they were supposed to. They didn't take them out the rerouted them. I now have mold in my house. They tried to tell me I lied and I could never talk to the manager that came to do the job again.

We've had them several times over the last couple of years. It was an A/C tune-up. Their price was $49.54. Their price was fair.

Everything was great! Layth was professional, upfront and extremely helpful. He put shoe protectors on and showed respect to our floors. Lol! Service was not pushy, he gave me options and suggestions, he did his job perfectly. I am pleased. Thanks Layth!!
