Great job. Answered the phone. New the business well enough to give a very competitive offer by phone. Showed up when they said they would. Protected the hardwood floors, and carpeting. Extremely efficient work. Followed up on the city permit. Two weeks later I recommended them to a co-worker and they were able to provide same day service that my co-worker was very pleased with. Highly recommend.

Excellent service. I got an estimate and the installation all on the same day. The price was fair and the crew was friendly and professional. The tankless heater works really well, something I wasn't sure about initially, since our house has two teenagers. I would recommend Houston Water Heaters to my friends.

Very well. Houston Water Heaters sent out a team who were on time, very professional, cleaned up the mess and took away the old water heater. They did all of this in the time quoted. I would recommend them to anyone needing a water heater.

This was the most professional plumbing company I have ever dealt with. I don't write too many recommendations but they were great, fast and efficient.

I would recommend Houston Water Heaters, the price is very competitive. They give you the price right away, unlike other company they don't give you price quote thru the phone, save you time. They schedule the installation the next day. David were right on time and did a good job.

Two man crew arrived on time as scheduled and were very courteous and professional in completing the job in about one hour. Very neat installation job.

installer was on time. They did a good job. The only complain is that one of the them pull off the knob on the pull string on the attic door and I cannot find a replacement for it. The original cost was $1383, but they have to install an overflow tube to the outside. That adds $129 to the cost. The total plus tax ($120) is $1632.

This was a big deal purchase. I think the service went very well, but I think I got taken. I think the quality of the water heater is less than what I would have believed would have been at that price point. Water heaters come in varying grades so at that price point I would have assumed the water heater would have been a much better quality water heater than the one they sold me. The service and actual installation went very well; the guys were great. But I saw the quality of the water heater they were putting in. I bought the long term warranty protection on it. I did not really want to buy the long term warranty protection on it but it just forced me into a situation where I had to spend a little bit more money. The service technician was very good, scheduling was very good and the guy who owns the company was very responsive but at the price point that I paid I would expect you would get a much better quality water heater. The difference between the water heater I expected and the water heater they provided me is only $150 to $200. I was at their mercy, but they did not know I was at their mercy so they did not take advantage of me on purpose.

Excellent service. I called them right at 9 am on a Saturday morning when they opened and they said they could replace the water heater today. They're plumber called me promptly to schedule a time frame. When he ran behind, he called to let us know and again when he was on his way. We really appreciated the communication. He was professional, courteous when he arrived. After completing the installation, he went over the operation of it with me. I wouldn't buy a water heater from anyone else.

Steve the owner was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions promptly and took the time to explain things to me. Daniel and Gus showed up on time and did an excellent job installing, cleaning up after etc. And then took the time to show me the installation and explain adjusting and lighting if I ever needed to. All in all great service and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hot water heater.

This company exceeded expectations in all respects from beginning to end, they truly are the definition of Professionalism. We purchased our new water heater from Houston Water Heaters on the evening of 02/17/2016 on Angie's List. The next morning at 8:15 AM I received a call that they could install the new water heater at around 10 AM and they would be done within a hour and a half. They got to our home at the designated time and around 11:20 AM they were done. The 2 service technicians that installed the water heater, great guys, they wore shoe covers spot they won't track any dirt, and they answered every question I had. They put the icing on the cake for the end of the Professionalism and care they showed in all respects. We just couldn't be happier and wish to thank from the bottom of our hearts all members we encountered with Houston Water Heaters, Thank you, Dr. Ed and Mona Hartnett.

They put the water heater in the garage and put in on concrete blocks and raised it to the prescribed level. They added another 75 dollars onto the big deal. The service was fine. I need to get in touch with them, I don't believe that they installed the brand of water heater that was advertised. I'm not living in the house at the moment, I'm having a lot of remodeling done but I'll go to the garage and see first chance I get. They were punctual.

Frank, the manager, was very informative as he explained the whole process beforehand. He got us scheduled for next morning installation, being that it was already late afternoon when we called. David and Jeff showed up a few minutes earlier than expected the next morning, and were polite and professional. They started work right away and were done in less than two hours. During the process they explained what they were doing. All work was performed as promised. Upon final inspection, David and Jeff walked me through everything again. They even showed me how to turn off the the gas and water lines, re-light and adjust the pilot, etc...An alarm was placed in the drip pan to alert of any water leak. David even flush cleared the drip pan outlet pipe and pressure release pipe to make sure there was no obstruction. He also reinforce sealed around my existing exhaust vent with roof caulking. Everything was done as promised and more. It was a job well done.

Explained ahead of time there would be an extra charge since water heater was in the attic - not in the garage. Arrived on time; did the job right the first time.

Very good service and a competitive price overall. Steve took the time to explain the problem I was having with my current water heater (18 yrs old) and water had a sulphur smell. Steve gave me some tips on how I might try to repair my existing heater. In the end, I called Steve back and ordered a new Rheem electric water heater and had it installed yesterday. The plumber showed up as scheduled and was very professional.......he explained the warranty and the extended service plan. The extended service plan is a great deal if you are looking for no worries for six years (no charge for parts/labor/trip charge). They completed the installation within 2 hours and took the old water heater away at no additional charge. Excellent company to work with and would highly recommend them. Ron Gregory

I really enjoyed working with owner Steve Williams. Mr. Williams is a man of his word. I purchased the Angie's List deal to replace my water heater in my renter's house. The new water heater was installed the same day. The water heater is Beautiful and installation was done in a professional manner! This is a 5-Star company with great customer service! Steve, Daniel and the crew were very professional and on time. In comparison to other vendors they were cheap and explained when I needed to run a new gas line and hole for the water heater. My water heater was from 1982, so you can imagine how different my new water heater is. Highly recommend Houston Water Heaters!

Absolutely professional service. Easily one of the few services where they did what they promised for the price that was quoted! They actually came to my home instead of my rental (my fault) and were so kind and forgiving. Highly recommend!

Old water heater had finally bitten the dust and so I begining searching Angies list for a service provider and up pops a coupon for $800 installed. After, reading the fine print I notice an exclusion for 2nd floor installation and contacted help desk for clarification and was informed of a $400 upcharge for 2nd floor installs - buyer beware. Lifting myself off the floor, I checked with other providers and all charged extra for 2nd floor installs. Called installer back and made an appointment, they arrived on time and installation went smoothly - no complaints. My two negative comments are; 1) uniforms for the workers needed, and 2) better signage on service vehicle.

They were very flexible with scheduling, and even moved us up a few days when Steve found out we were Angie's list customers. The plumbers were very professional and did a very efficient job changing our water heaters. Will use them again in the future! They also honored a coupon for Angie's list customers as well.
