Service was on time, quick and efficient.

Mark agreed to do inspection 4/24 after I called at 5:30 on 4/23. He showed up on time. Did a complete walk through of my attic looking at decking and walk around outside looking at roof. Found my roof and decking to be just fine (thank goodness). He explained several things about roofing and decking and WPI required items. He did a great job and I would use him if I needed work done.

They did charge as they estimated. They did a very good job.

After major rain storm, we had 3 (small) leaks through attic space and into master bedroom closet. The leaks were caught early so no damage inside the house and overall impact was minor. Tracked down source to rotted decking around the dryer vent pipe (confirmed by contractor). I had also noticed, previously, a "sunken" spot at in a different location on the roof that I wanted looked at also. Have had bad experiences with going with 'individuals' in the past for small roof jobs so was looking for someone local and who I felt I could follow-up with if needed. Searched web and found Clear Lake Area Roofing with badges on their website for Angies List and BBB. A bit more research and I gave them a call at number on website. Got to voicemail where I did not leave a message. However, within 2 mins of me hanging up, Mark (owner per website) called me back as I guess my number showed up. And I am glad he called me back! It indicated to me a proactive approach. I explained the situation and he said he would work to schedule something. The same day I heard from Steve Sandoval and we scheduled for him to come out the next day.
Steve arrived on time as scheduled, assessed the situation at both roof locations and explained to me what was going on and giving me my options re. materials to use for the repair, reminding me that the new shingles might not match exactly, etc. We agreed to quoted price and scheduled the work. It ended up taking more days than either of us thought to actually complete the work BUT this was due to bad weather (unavoidable) and Steve calling me on one day and letting me know that, due to the bad weather in fact, he was being called to an emergency roofing situation where a tree branch had crashed through a roof. I appreciated the call and the opportunity to discuss with him if I felt I was being unduly "bumped. In fact, in this situation, we were not in any crisis so it was not an issue at all. Bottom line -- I felt Steve did a good job staying in communication with me re. his schedule. He gave me his cell # so I could reach him if needed and, I suppose, I could have escalated to Mark if I had any issue.
I'm no roofing expert but the job looks top notch to me and from my short discussions with Steve, these guys know what they are doing. It has rained buckets since the repair with not drips or seepage in sight. And as far as the shingles not matching, after a little weathering, it will be hard to notice the difference at all.
Overall great experience and glad I could support a local business. These will be the first guys I call for a quote should I ever need roofing or any of the other services they offer.

Work stated 2 day late yet finished my day early. Estimate was dead on, clear up was very good Reps ad crew were courteous and professional. Very experienced.
