William Chyle's has the same roofing business in Florida. He completed repair work on our flat roof during the closing process. When our roof began leaking we reached out to him. My husband called him multiple times and William Chyle, the owner promised to come out and look at the repair work done around our chimney that he previously completed. He did not show for scheduled times. Excuses were offered and follow up appointments not kept- not even a call. I finally got tired of the run around my husband got and I called him myself. I explained that our patio area is leaking on our children at the dinner table, and the lack or responsiveness is adding to the damage. He said "Oh, I wish you called me yesterday, I just left for Texas for 3 weeks. Call me in 3 weeks. You can call me every day if you like." I explained he should put me in his calendar to follow up. In my opinion if you are proud of your work, you will follow up and honor your work. You don't ask a customer to keep calling and remind you. It is a menial task to fix this. I also mentioned I saw him on Angie's list. Since my husband is now on the roof in the rain at 9:03 PM, I decided to join Angies list and share that I am completely disappointed. My husband does not want him at our house at this time, therefore I am not looking to resolve this thru BBB. My husband had also told him that his response would dictate if we were to use him for additional roof repairs. We will not be using EVER. It was the prior homeowner who hired him prior to the closing and I cannot tell you what their criteria was in hiring someone on a house they were selling.
