I contacted Bammel TV to schedule an appointment for someone in there shop to come and evaluate my Samsung TV. When the guy came out I could barely understand him. He looked at the TV and reported that the Main circuit board had went out. He explained to me that if I had Bammel TV fix the problem then they would take 30.00 off for the trip drive. I told him that I would call tomorrow with my decision. He didn't leave any paperwork stating what the problem was. I contacted Bammel TV and informed them that I wanted the work completed and to go ahead and order the part. Well two days had passed and I get a call from the owners father who asked me what I wanted to do about the TV. I explained to him that I already spoke with Rick and he was suppose to have ordered the part. They told me that the part would take 3-5 days to be receive. Ok after almost two weeks went by I went to Bammel TV around 8:20 am in the morning. The guy Rick was in there working on his computer. When I walked in he asked me "how can I help you." I told him my name and informed him that I had been waiting for a part for my TV. He then proceeds to tell me that "were not open until 8:30am." I informed him that I would be standing right outside the door waiting for the 2 minutes to pass by but the same issues that I am having will be the same at 8:30am. When I finally was allowed back in the store 2 min later then the owner shows up pretending that he is on top of the situation. He admits to me that they made a mistake and didn't order the part when they were suppose to. Openly admitted it, but he didn't want to satisfy me as the customer with any type of discount for having me wait so long. He offered me $10.50 off for the shipping and handling. What a joke and I let him know it. These guys are lousy on customer service and there prices are extremely over priced. I looked up the part that I needed and it wasn't as much as they stated. DON'T USE THESE GUY UNPROFESSIONAL GUY. BUYER BE WARNED.

Description of Work: On 3-22-13 I took in a NAD T765 AV receiver for repairs...based on NAD recommendations at the factory. I handed Bammel TV a written service order indicating what needed to be addressed as follows 1. on cold start unit makes a periodic "whirring" sound, talked with NAD tech by phone, the suspect a bad fan or bad fan switch. Was told there are 5 fans in the unit. Please inspect and repair NAD indicates they typically have the fans and switches in stock. 2. blow the dust out of the units as required 3. bench test the unit to insure operating performance meets spec and the receiver is operating as new. 4. Advise on needed repairs On 4-17-13 I was called and told the unit was ready. Invoice from Bammel TV shows $70.00 worth of new parts in stalled [5 fans] Invoice indicates the unit was tested for 12 hours "burn in" test - played and test - OK to release. labor bill was $335.00. Last Friday I had my home entertainment vendor in to install some new speakers, reinstall the system and hook up the T765 which is the engine and brains which drives the system. The receiver was and is in horrible condition, menus will not pull up, mid range performance very distorted, programming almost impossible. We spent from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM trying to get the T765 back on line to no avail. Have no talked with NAD tech twice and will call them again tomorrow, hoping to get some answers. The T765 was not dropped, bumped or in any abused in it's trip from Bammel back to my house. And other than the "whirring" sound the unit was working fine when I took it to Bammel. So folks do the math...Bammel poor service, high prices, bad work equals I am screwed and may have to fork out another $1200.00 to acquire a new receiver if the we can not get the T765 back on line and functioning properly. Highly p***** and I may contact an attorney.

We diagnosed (deleted member name) NAD T765 AV receiver and prepared an estimate for him. (deleted member name) approved the repair on 4/20/2013. We ordered the parts and completed the repair on 4/17. We perform a full checkout and burn in test on all our repairs. Once a product passes the test, we release it to the customer. (deleted member name) picked up his product on 4/20/2013. I received a call from NAD on 5/07/2013. (deleted member name) had called the manufacturer to inform them of the new problem with his unit. I contacted (deleted member name) directly and told him to bring the unit back and we would recheck it. He brought it back on 6/8/2013. The receiver had developed a different problem from what it had been originally brought in for. The manufacturer agreed to cover the cost of the additional part and we covered the labor under our warranty. We finalized the repair and burn in test and notified (deleted member name). He came in to pick up the unit on 6/29/2013. My technician and I did a full demonstration of his receiver. We addressed all of his concerns and showed him that all functions were working properly. At (deleted member name) request, I listed all the services we performed on his invoice. He signed our paperwork and took the unit home. It was unfortunate that his receiver developed a new problem. With the assistance of the manufacturer NAD, we repaired the unit to (deleted member name) satisfaction. Our standard warranty is 90 days, We restarted his warranty period on 6/29/2013.
