Description of Work: They came out to repair our a/c unit that was not cooling. They said it was the fan motor, which they replaced. Unit worked fine for 2 weeks, stopped cooling again, they sent another technician out who informed us that the fan motor was installed backwards and now it burnt up the compressor, at which time they quoted us a price to replace the entire a/c unit, even though it was their technician who messed up and caused the problem.

The customer review information is not correct. Upon arrival the system had a faulty condenser fan motor which the customer had already diagnosed before we arrived. Upon arrival the bad motor was verified by our technician and replaced. At that time the unit was operating so the job was closed. 2 weeks later we were called out once again and it was found that the compressor motor was shorted. We then quoted the replacement price for the repairs. The fan motor was not installed incorrectly and the cost was only $425 not $800 as stated in the review. Also if the fan motor was installed backwards the unit would not run a day. The unit requires a certain amount of air flow over the condensor for proper operation. within an hour or so the unit would've shut down. The customer was upset because they didn't have the money to repair the unit at the time and we refused financing for them. I personally went to this call and although I am not perfect, I rarely make mistakes when installing or diagnosing and if a mistake was made on our part, we would cover it under our warranty. I have been performing residential, commercial and industrial A/C for over 15 years servicing residential equipment, Commercial refrigeration and industrial refrigeration in chemical plants. The installation of a fan motor is a simple and straight forward job. I apologize for any inconvenience on our part but we should not be held accountable for an outdated system that has simply went bad.
