Tried to sell me new A/C unit
Description of Work: First trip to house was for a service. Insisted I needed additional new duct work installing. This is on a 20 year old system. Just had the service done. 2 months later one of the units failed. Called them out again. Was told I needed a new condenser for $2100 on a unit that was only 2 years old. Called company who originally installed system who topped up the freon in for free and said to call them back if it failed again. I suspect the Abacus repairmen are on some bonus scheme for selling bogus repairs.

Description of Work: I woke to the water sensor in my water heater pan shrieking and went to the attic to find the water supply line leaking. I called and a very friendly woman named Consuelo answered and had a fabulous technician to my home about an hour later. His name was Bill and he was also friendly, clean cut and very knowledgeable. He fixed the leak in no time and explained some options that would actually cut the water supply off if this happened again. Not pushy, just very helpful. This was the third time I've called Abacus in an emergency and they have yet to disappoint. Great people!
