Chris responded to my initial voice mail very quickly and professionally. We set up a time for him to come to our offices to shred 26 boxes of paper. He arrived on time, quickly assessed what needed to be done and worked until the job was complete. He folded the boxes that had held the paper and left the area neater than when he arrived. I would highly recommend A1 (and already have) to anyone needing this type of work done. Thank you Angie's List, you are a wonderful resource when looking for reliable contractors.

Perfect. Called Friday morning at 7am and an opening was available for 11am to perform shredding at my house. Chris the owner explained the process and called when he was heading over as he said he would. No penalties on my part for him being a few minutes late due to Houston traffic on a Friday and on a holiday weekend. What a great service provider!!!

We initially spoke on the phone, at which point we made an appointment and he gave me an estimate of the cost. He came to the door, dressed professionally. Presented us with his card and a pamphlet regarding the benefits of shredding (such as less chance of identity theft). We showed him the files, which he promptly loaded up onto equipment that he brought with him and transported to his vehicle, which has the shredder in the back. He even showed my wife how he uses the machine. He finished quickly and was very friendly and courteous.

Chris was superb and his level of customer service was outstanding. He helped me check each and every single box to make sure I did not destroy any personal items that I would miss. I am so glad he took the time to do this. He also set aside quite a few photos and several boxes of important personal items that had gotten mixed in with the boxes that needed to be shredded. His company provides world class service and I am getting ready to use them again in the next few days. Without hesitation, I give Chris and his company an A+.

A-1 came to my house the same day I called. Chris was professional and the price was very fair. He earned my highest recommendations.

The gentleman came to the door and handed me a pamphlet from the Houston Police Department. He handed me his business card, and he was dressed in a company uniform. He was very competent and very pleasant. He brought the truck with the shredding machine, and he handled the entire process. He even took papers out of binders and left the binders for me. I know that the City of Houston government uses A1 Shredding. I would use them and and I rescooment them very highly?

My husband and I were cleaning out his mother's home after she passed away, and had several boxes/bags of old documents that needed to be destroyed. We were in and out of Houston over a period of 2-3 months taking care of estate matters. Chris Passmore was very patient with our constantly changing schedule, and came to the house to pick up the documents at our convenience. He is professional, courteous, and communicative.
