They told me it would cost 175 for clearing the clog. The worker came over and told me that rather use the camera since his snake tool was deep inside his van. He told me that the camera would cost me 225. I felt cheated by this since I did not ask for the camera but was forced upon by the worker. Bad practice. He had the snake which he did not want to use since he would make 175 and not 225. Sleazy

Julian Rangel and team are experts at what they do. I have rental properties and my primary residence and have used them now 5 times for roots in my pipes, broken lines that needed a camera, drain cleanouts, and soft water system installs. We had an unusual clogged drain pipe problem. Everyone in the company came out to figure out what the problem was, they stayed until it was fixed and we were happy with the results.

What a great experience! About 10 minutes after I sent the original inquiry, they contacted me to set up a no-cost, on-site estimate/evaluation with someone who was on-call and available right away. He called 10 mins later to confirm and 30 mins after that, the doorbell rang! He showed up wearing a mask and had even stepped back to a safe social distance!! He was polite, personable, safe and respectful! Very impressive. He quickly evaluated the slow drain in the kitchen sink, gave an estimate that was thoroughly reasonable, and then got to work on it. He was noticeably careful bringing his tools and gear into & out of the house. (Much appreciated!) He worked quickly & efficiently, did a great job communicating what he was doing and in explaining & demonstrating that it was fixed! He even did a good (**not merely adequate**) job of cleaning up! We would definitely use them again and will enthusiastically recommend them to the neighbors. Great job exceeding expectations.

It is the worst plumbing company, they lie to you and charge exaggeratedly I do not recommend them to anyone.

The service of the clogged pipe went fair. The service was done. I would not call them back due to the fact that there was no safety gear on the staff members. No shoe covers, no masks, or gloves. The staff members did not try to keep a safe distance when speaking. The date of the requested service was in late April in the midst of the COVID 19. The company did not take the steps to protect their employees or customers. I've sent an email with my concerns to Texas APS and did not hear back from them. I had to reach out to a third party to have Texas APS email me back, to only receive a one-sentence apology. Service was fine customer service and safety is poor.

Excellent job of communicating what the problem was and how to fix it.

First of all, during these hard times, it was great to know that when this semi-emergency happened, they quickly were on the phone with me, and within 3 hours they were at my home helping me out. Master plumber, was really nice, he went through everything with me and was patient with me through all my questions. I do feel it was a little pricey but that is just a small thing. The job did take a lot longer than initially estimated, but they were very nice and thoughtful throughout the entire task.

I had a different company the first day and they could not find the the water line leak in the yard. Then even tried using compressed gas. Lucky for me the owner of APS, Julian, had called and convinced me they could find it and told me the exact amount the repair would cost, which was a lot less than others quotes. I told the first company I found another and paid them for their 3 hours of service with 3 guys - but only one would work at a time. Texas APS sent out one guy. He actually worked instead of standing around or talking into a cell phone. Julian came by around 12:30 and while we were talking the worker stopped for a break after digging for hours. Julian the boss asked, taking a break, huh? And the guy was like yeh, I'm taking a break because it is a good time to. Julian said "It is?" And the worker said, yeh, I found the leak. I immediately said you're joking, but he showed us. The owner was so happy he took the worker out for lunch. But the Julian was sure all along he would find it. They had a bad experience once working for Julian's brother in law. It took them 5 days of digging to find the leak, but they learned a lot from that experience. I was so happy with their work I will have them out again to install a new drain on our water heater and will hire them when our 17- year old water heater needs replaced.

Quick, Prompt, Effective and Polite!

We discussed what we needed done and they explained what equipment, etc. that would be used. E.g. camera diagnosis. Everything was done and he gave us more information on jobs we are looking to do in the near future. We will be calling them again.

He did everything he said he would, but he doesn't warranty his work.

Julián was awesome. Great explanation of the issue. He advised I clean 2 other drains because of this issue. And thankfully I did - I was facing major problems that he fixed at a much reduced cost while already here. Excellent service, very nice man, fast and friendly and knowledge and fairly priced. For drain issue look no further.
