Description of Work: Verified that tree roots were growing in the line but I was not ready to redo the plumbing at that time since it would be quite expensive to go under house to repair. I had to hire another company to temporarily get rid of roots in line ntil major remodel scheduled.

Description of Work: I had a clogged kitchen sink drain. He was able to snake it through the under-sink clean out, which cleared the clog. I had tried doing everything possible myself first to no avail. Was very thorough and made sure the clog was really gone before he left.

Description of Work: Had 2 toilets replaced. Master bathroom toilet became unseated after 2 months. They came and fixed it at no charge. Second bathroom toilet had a low pressure issue. Was told I should have bought a better toilet. It took another 6 months and another company to finally resolve the issue.

Description of Work: They came and looked at my water heater and then told me it was not up to code and refused to do anything. They quoted a price for a new water heater and then left. Not very friendly! I wouldn't call on them again!

Description of Work: Very prompt, very professional. More expensive than advertised with the add-ons - charge for attic installation (which we knew about in advance) and a $150 charge for a permit which was a complete surprise. And the inspection from the permit didn't happen for 3 weeks (after I had to call and check on it). I wasn't told when the inspector was coming and I was gone at the time he came so when I got home there was a note on the door that my gas had been turned off. It was turned back on early that evening so everything worked out OK. I could have saved money by buying my own water heater and paying a handy man to install it and not buying the permit. But the 2 men who did the work were very personable and I enjoyed visiting with them while they did their work. They cleaned up after themselves when they left.

Description of Work: Removal & installation of new 40 gallon hot water heater. They were extremely punctual & professional. The job was extremely quick & proficient. They explained how the new heater works & cleaned the area before & after the job. I would definitely recommend them.

Description of Work: They said they would be here between 10-2 called about noon and said they were running late, I said no problem. He arrived came upstairs, stopped on the second rung and ask me "did you hear about the turkey" I said No, he said " he was arrested for foul play" I just looked at him and changed the subject, he said don't hold that joke against me. Anyway, I came into computer room, he went out to his truck for a bit came back with all these extra charges, that were not mentioned on the Angie's site? It was around $500 extra which I was appalled , $150 for a city permit, I called and its less than $20 , another $150, for having to go upstairs and some other ridiculous charge, I just think the whole thing is very deceiving when the ad clearly states "Complete Water heater replacement for $699". I'm shocked because these people have really good reviews all the way around?? Just not sure who to blame Angie's List Ad or Plumbing Co?
