+ -1 moreTwo months later he asked for an additional $2,000 due to cash flow issues. I fronted him this amount with the promise to get the project up and running. Since then, no work has been done and Mr. Harlan has provided no reason as to why the project has not been initiated. For a short time he kept promising to come by my house and provide an update, but never showed up. Now I get zero response to my voicemails and text messages. Now, knowing that the business is not reputable, I am seeking a refund to my $4,000 deposit since Angie's Roofing has failed to preform to the contract signed.
Description of Work: At the end of March, I received hail damage like many others in local storms and then filed an insurance claim. On 5/21/16 I signed a contract with Duane Horacio Harlan to get started on replacing my roof. $2,000 was given upfront to initiate the project. It appears he has named his business accordingly due to the name association with Angie's List. Be warned if dealing with them.
