My ice maker stopped making ice. Technician diagnosed as bad heater element on freezer coil. Along with $90.+ service call, Repair was estimated at another $350+ for easy plug and play part. I refused service to repair myself and realized after ordering part, original was working as intended and all my refrigerator needed was defrosting. This was a blatant misdiagnosis, a unknowing homeowner would have been out of pocket close to $500 for.. What makes things worse is that after many attempts to contact the franchise owner Travis, I have yet to get a response besides office personnel named Monica trying to BS me into believing he had not reached out due to his efforts to gather information about my concerns before he returned my call. She actually got belligerent when I refused to believe this BS. It has been 3 weeks and have yet to hear back from anyone concerned about me as a disgruntled customer. I just want reimbursement for part I bought that was not needed. Not saying everyone has this experience with this company, but I would like to advise any potential customer to beware of any diagnosis by this company. Also, do not expect any follow up if you have an issue, it will not happen.

I had a freezer that did not produce any ice. Mr. Appliance changed my icemaker without any attempt to do a diagnosis, stating it is *usually the icemaker*, and Mr. Appliance charged me $365.95 for changing an icemaker that was not broken. Mr. Appliance only did a diagnosis on the freezer on the 5th visit, after changing the icemaker twice, without fixing the problem. It took 6 visits to finally fix my freezer. Mr. Appliance employee (the tech) said I will only charge you for the price of the fan since we charged you for an ice maker that was not broken, and it has taken 6 visits to fix your freezer. But Jennifer at the office later said that I must pay for the work on the fan as well, which I did. I paid a total of $677 to fix a broken fan in the freezer that cost a total of $99.02 plus about $200 for work.

They fixed my ice maker without issue, and for the problem on my dishwasher they diagnosed the timer on the soap release was the issue, and recommended to just add the soap packet directly to the dishwasher, and not bother repairing the timer which would have been expensive. Instant credibility boost for them!

I hired Mr. Appliance to make a repair on my washing machine. It is a newer washing machine and the part was not a typical part that needs to be replaced. It took 7-10 days to receive the part. Yesterday it came in and the technicians came in and took my washer apart to make the repair and come to find out it was the wrong part. I was told yesterday that they would find the right part and they would call and notify me of the wait time. Never received a call. I had to call them again this morning to make sure they give me a call to let me know whether or not they found the right part and when it would arrive. As of right now, I would not recommend this company for service.

Jennifer in the office and both service professionals who came out were knowledgeable, professional, and helpful. Francisco did the estimate for 2 appliance repairs and Joseph repaired our ice maker. Jenifer in customer service was very down to earth and pleasant to work with. The billing procedure is done online via ipad. Charged per call / hourly/parts was vague and not shown broken down. Personally, I thought it was a bit pricey.
