Great Experience! These guys were here right on time at the appointed day. They were able to identify the problem within 20 minutes. No charge for the first time out. The area had to dry out before the repair could happen. Scheduled next appointment. People on the phones were very nice. The guys, Seth and David, had the problem fixed within an hour of next visit. Very friendly and professional. Provided damaged part for insurance. Could not be happier!

WATER HAD SCRAPED INTO HALL & LIVING ROOM. I CALLED & WAS TOLD A PLUMBER COULD BE AT THE HOUSE BETWEEN 1 & 5 PM ON SAME DAY. 30 MINUTES LATER RECEIVED A CALL THAT A PLUMBER WAS AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY. STEVE HUDSON SHOWED UP WITHIN 30 MINUTES & HAD PROBLEM FIXED.

I had a bad experience with call-backs, etc, when I first started working with United Mechanical. However, when I brought it to the owner's attention, United Mechanical more than made up for a bad first impression. The tankless water heater installation was on time and the quality was beyond what I expected. Once given an opportunity to do what they do best- perform- United Mechanical proved their worth. They also heavily discounted the cost due to the original interactions (which other users shouldn't expect), so the price was much lower than it would have been otherwise. However, I would have paid the original price now that I see the quality of work and attention to detail. I am rating them on my second experience, not the first.

They were punctual and polite. He did the work well, he knew what he was doing.

I'm disappointed, when a company can't even return a phone call.

Job 1: The 2-man crew showed up about 15 min early, which was fine. Both men were polite & worked fast. They answered my questions when I asked but did not spend time in idle conversation w/me. When they finished replacing the pipe outdoors, they carefully put back the bush they had to dig up & even rearranged the bricks that I had removed the day before. The entire job took an hour. The cost was less than the $925, 3-hour estimate that another company quoted me, & they scheduled the work immediately. Job 2: A month before, UMP replaced the washers in my tub faucet. Soon after, regulating the temp. of water became a problem. The technician determined that the previous UMP employee had used the wrong size of washers. The hot water washer kept expanding due to the heat & shutting off the water flow. I was pleased that UMP didn t charge me for the visit. I didn t assume the service call would be free. These days, that's not a given with service companies (except good ones like UMP!).

This company has been to my home on three different occasions (three different plumbers). All three diagnosed the problem and made the repairs quickly. They were in and out of the house in less time than estimated on each occasion.

The plumbers showed up exactly on time. They wore shoe covers and placed a plastic covering on the floor in their work area. After the faucet was replaced, they disposed of all waste. They were very polite and I was only charged for one worker, even though two did the job. The price was great and the job was exceptional. I was so please with this company that I called and set-up an appointment with their A/C repair, which I received the same quality service as I did with the plumbers. Great company! I will definitely use them again.

They were prompt (a little early, in fact), efficient and did the job right. They also checked a second water heater I have that I was having trouble with and repaired it with a part from the van at no extra charge when another company had told me I needed to have the water heater replaced. As easy as screwing on a plastic cap. Honest company. It's great to find someone who knows what they are doing and do it well.

WE RECEIVED OTHER ESTIMATES THAT INCLUDED LOTS OF EXTRA LABOR THAT WE DIDN'T END UP NEEDING. HE DID COME OUT AN ADDITIONAL TIME AT NO CHARGE.

We had a bit of a time getting someone quickly since it is Christmas time...but they came exactly when they said they would, and they were really good. Took two hours - the house is 35 years old and it's not easy to work on the old pipes and valves. They were clean and professional, and I would most certainly use them again. The price was probably better than fair - taking into consideration other plumbers I have used in the past. These are my guys going forward!

PUNCTUALITY WAS VERY GOOD. THEY WERE LATE, DUE TO AN EMERGENCY GAS LEAK, BUT THEY CALLED TO ADVISE ME AND RESCHEDULED. DID MORE WORK THAN ORIGINALLY ESTIMATED BUT DID NOT CHARGE EXTRA. VERY NICE MEN. PRICING WAS VERY FAIR. SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD. NO PROBLEMS SINCE THEN. ANY TIME I NEED PLUMBING THEY WILL BE THE ONES THAT I CALL.

JOB 2 THE PLUMBER WAS COURTEOUS, PROMPT, FRIENDLY, AND AS FAR AS I CAN TELL VERY PROFESSIONAL. OVERALL EXPERIENCE IN PRICE, AND QUALITY OF WORK WAS VERY POSITIVE.

THE MOST PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIAN I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED, DID EXCELLENT WORK AT A GOOD PRICE, CONSIDERING IT WAS AFTER HOURS. VERY IMPRESSED.

THIS COMPANY IS GREAT. IN MY OPINION, MOST (I.E. GREATER THAN 75%) OF PLUMBERS, ELECTRICIANS, AND SIMILAR TRADESMAN ARE EITHER INCOMPETENT AND/OR DISHONEST. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF WORK DONE OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS ON MY HOME (WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A MAJOR REMODEL). I HAVE EMPLOYED THREE CONTRACTORS, SEVERAL PLUMBERS, SEVERAL ELECTRICIANS, TWO STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS, TWO ARCHITECTS, ETC... OF ALL OF THE COMPANIES THAT I HAVE WORKED WITH, UNITED MECHANICAL IS AMONG THE BEST. VERY RESPONSIVE, PUNCTUAL, AND THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. LET ME REPEAT THAT: THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I RECOMMEND THE COMPANY WITHOUT RESERVATION. ASK FOR KENT. Q:HOW DO YOU KNOW WHEN A GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS LYING? A:HIS LIPS ARE MOVING.

KENT, THE PLUMBER CAME TO DISCUSS A SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEM. WE ASKED ABOUT A TANK-LESS WATER HEATER BECAUSE OF LIMITED SPACE IN OUR OLD HOUSE. HE EXPLAINED THAT ELECTRIC, TANK-LESS WOULD NOT BE SUFFICIENT, AND OUR EXISTING GAS-LINE WOULD NOT SUPPORT A GAS HEATER OF THIS KIND. DIGGING UP THE GAS LINE COULD BE BIG TROUBLE. KENT AND HIS HELPER JOSE DID A GREAT JOB. IT WAS NO EASY INSTALLATION WITH WATER HEATER PLACED ON PLATFORM ABOVE BASEMENT STAIRS. BIG BONUS: THEY BROUGHT SHEET ROCK AND COVERED THE HOLE UP INTO THE ATTIC. WHERE DRAIN LINES WERE DRAWN DOWN INTO BASEMENT AND THEN OUTSIDE, THEY ''COLLIDED'' WITH RACK FOR HANGING GARMENT BAGS. THE RACK WAS MOVED, EXPERTLY RE-INSTALLED, AND BAGS NICELY HUNG UP AGAIN. THESE GUYS ROCK!

ON TIME, POLITE, CLEAN. ONE BATHTUB CONTROL STARTED LEAKING AGAIN, AND THEY RETURNED & REPAIRED IT.

WE HAD AN EMERGENCY AND UNITED WAS THE ONLY GROUP TO FIT US IN SAME DAY. UNITED DELIVERED ON ITS PROMISES, AND WE WILL CALL ON THEM AGAIN.

THE AREA WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE - MUCH LESS WORK ON - BUT STEVE AND JIM MANAGED TO REPLACE THE DRAIN & PIPE AND PUT THINGS RIGHT. WE HAVEN'T HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM SINCE THEY FIXED IT ON 2.04.05. STEVE H. & JIM K. ARRIVED ON TIME. THEY WERE SMART, FRIENDLY, & KNEW THEIR STUFF! THEY CAREFULLY EXAMINED OUR BATHTUB LEAK DISASTER & EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE & EXACTLY HOW MUCH EACH STEP WOULD COST. THEIR PRICE WAS ONE-HALF OF THAT QUOTED BY A DIFFERENT PLUMBER. WHEN WE ASKED IF THEY COULD DO THE JOB RIGHT THEN, THEY GOT RIGHT TO WORK. RESULTS = PERFECT JOB! WE LIKE THIS COMPANY! WE MAY HAVE THEM INSTALL OUR NEW CENTRAL A/C LATER THIS YEAR. IN OUR EXPERIENCE, UNITED MECHANICAL PLUMBERS ARE THE HIGHEST QUALITY - AND THEY ARE ETHICAL! WE'VE PUT THEM IN OUR ADDRESS BOOK - IN INK! PLUS THEY WEREN'T AFRAID OF OUR BIG DOG, & DIDN'T MIND OUR CATS. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION! HIRE THESE GUYS! THEY'RE GREAT!

OUR SHOWER HAD BEEN MALFUNCTIONING BY TURNING OFF ON ITS OWN FOR QUITE SOME TIME AND WE COULD NOT DETERMINE WHY. STEVE FIGURED OUT THE PROBLEM AND EXPLAINED TO US WHAT HE WAS DOING TO CORRECT IT.

VERY NICE AND COURTEOUS. THEY HAD TO ORDER A PART, BUT FOLLOWED UP PROMPTLY WITH THE NEW PART.

THEY'RE GREAT! UNITED MECHANICAL PLUMBING IS ON TIME, POLITE, AND HONEST ABOUT ESTIMATES. I RECOMMEND THEM FOR PLUMBING WORK. JIM, THE TECHNICIAN, DID A GOOD JOB WITHOUT MAKING A MESS.

THEY CAME QUICKLY. THEY FOUND AND FIXED THE LEAK IN 5 HOURS. THERE HAS BEEN NO PROBLEM SINCE THE REPAIR.
