They originally sent some one out who did not do a very good job. They immediately sent out two professionals that fixed the issue correctly. The work looked good and I was happy with the outcome. I have used them before and will use them again. They were very nice to work with.

We smelled a faint odor of gas late Friday night near our gas fireplace. It was not on at the time. We called our gas utility who came and confirmed the leak at midnight. The technician was required to shut off the gas to the whole house as there was no intermediary shutoff to the fireplace. This meant no hot water or heat. Luckily it was still warm. The next morning I called a plumber from the phone book. He came by and quoted us $1275 for the work. I was blown away and said no. My brother suggested Angie's List. I tried it and found this company right away. The plumber was here within about 2-3 hours and completed the work in around 2 hours for only $350, and these were the higher weekend rates. He said the other guy was trying to rip us off and most of the tasks quoted were not needed or overpriced. Gas utility came back out in the evening to turn on the gas. The UM plumber called later that evening to make sure we were doing alright. We were very pleased with the quality and price.

They went above and beyond the call of duty. We have had previous problems with the water heater leaking. They installed an extra over flow drainage system so if it did leak it would flow the water away from the house. They were punctual, courteous and reasonably priced for the amount of work they did.

Did not use - contractor's estimate was two-and-one-half times 2 other quotes that I received.

I have used them for 3 years now to do both the AC maintenance at my house and my business. I originally had them quote the 3 industrial units we have at the office. They were the best bidder for the most reasonable price and I decided to give them both the home and office contract. They treat my residential account with just as much attention as they do the commercial one. The only issue I have is on the price of the actual replacement equipment. I had a cracked manifold on both units inside and I had three bids to do the replacement, theirs was 33% higher than the next highest bid. However for maintenance and repair, I have no issue.

The service was very courteous, quick, and he very informative about what he was doing. Good Price. He was prompt and did exactly what he needed to do.

On time. In fact he was early. He replaced 3 faucets in my mother's duplex. He was reasonable, on time and worked very quickly. The work was done well.

We lost gas supply due to heavy rain filling leaky gas line in our backyard. Gas company closed off the line and asked us to contact plumber to fix it. We contacted United since they were authorized dealer for Atmos energy. We also go quotes from other companies. United quote was the least and we went with them since they were authorized dealer. They were couple days late. So came on a on a Saturday and did the work. They did not charge weekend rate and went with same quote. They came next Monday after coordinating Plano gov. inspector to inspect and green tag the line to close the trench. We also go the gas line turned on the same day. They even gave me an option to dig the trench and would charge us only $600/ for fixing the leak, an option that was not suggested by other companies who gave the quote. They a did good job and even fixed a water sprinkler pipe leak they found while digging. Overall I am very happy with the work they did.

I am very pleased with UMP from the first phone call to the finished work. I called to inquire about availability on Tuesday. The rep on the phone was courteous and efficient. She told me they were taking appointments for that Friday. I made an appointment for the morning. I was contacted that morning by a rep to let me know that the technician was on his way. Steve was professional, efficient, and courteous. I was really surprised when he put on plastic booties to walk in my house. He explained exactly what needed to be done. He finished the job in an hour, showed me what he had done, cleaned up like he had never been there and even asked if I had any other plumbing concerns while he was there. He was a terrific representative for the company.

They told me the faucets I had bought at Lowe's didn't fit the plumbing in the tub, and that I needed a different size/brand of faucet. They left the house for 45 minutes, to go get new faucets at Teeters. When they returned, they reported that Teeters didn't have the style I wanted. But they ended up putting my Lowe's faucets on anyway. I asked them how they made them fit, and they said they'd overlooked the fact that the faucets came with adapters in the package. They still charged me for the 45 minutes they were at Teeters. Because there were two plumbers, they were charging $120/hr total. Also, they told me the tub drain wasn't clogged. But when I took my next shower, I was up to my shins in water within 30 seconds. I had them come back and unclog my drain at no extra charge. They spent over an hour working on it, and ended up just removing the drain screen. These are licensed plumbers?

I called United and was able to get an appointment the following afternoon. The tech was early to the appointment. I told him what was going on and showed him the inspection report. He confirmed what the inspector discovered and determined there was a leak in the sprinkler system. He walked the yard to see if he could find it but did not. He recommended that I call a sprinkler company to fix the leak since they could do it quicker and cheaper than him. He also tightened the nuts on our exterior facets that were loose.

Steve and Jason both worked on one of the projects. They finished about the same time. Worked efficiently and were both personable individuals.

Jason did a really good job with the work he performed and helped me order a new toilet so I could get a good price. I would definitely hire them again.
