Tri-State Roofing Service

We had Tri-State come out to assess and provide an estimate on existing leaking. They came prepared and expecting to do work on the roof, not an assessment. The team definitely came out with a "get it checked, done, and paid" as quickly as possible. They did not seem really interested in fixing the root cause of the leaking, as brought to light by the fact that it is still leaking. They demanded I pay cash, then backed off and agreed to take a check when I told them they were acting like hustlers. The final price that we paid was 3x what other companies had quoted that same day. We finally paid a separate roof inspector (not a roofing company) to come out. That inspector, unlike every roofing company we have worked with, actually went into the attic to trace where the water was coming the roof. We are not inviting Tri-state back to quote the actual repairs that need to be done based on the inspector's report.
