Rescue Air Heating and Air Conditioning

Our AC went out one night, and we slept through a hot Texas summer night. I called Rescue Air the next morning at 9, and Roman was out to fix it by 1. I am so impressed with his professionalism, punctuality and service.

Rescue Air literally rescued us! Our upstairs unit completely died on a Saturday night. On Sunday morning I called Rescue Air, and Roman was here by early afternoon. Temperatures reached 92 degrees upstairs, and Roman got us up and running in about an hour. As luck would have it, our downstairs unit went out while he was here. Roman replaced the capacitor in that unit, and we were cooling off right away. What a lifesaver! Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Roman called within a half hour of arriving at our home. We were having an issue with our AC and needed an estimate for future work. He assessed the unit in our attic and discussed the options and gave us an estimate for the future work. He was not only knowledgeable but also very friendly, courteous and respectful. He is a great representative for this company and for excellent customer service!

Team showed up on time and early (very positive). Communication of arrival time super clear. Dean was great from start to finish and went above and beyond to help explain to me other system readings that could potentially impact me down the road. While the pricing model used is super clear to understand, my only complaint is I thought the price was a bit steep when compared to others after the fact.

I have had cooling issues recently. Have called a couple of A/C companies based on their reviews, but none of them could give me satisfactory diagnosis results why my system is not cooling. Luckily I came across Rescue Air. Undoubtedly, their experience was much much better than any other A/C company I dealt with. Jason was the technician. Very knowledgeable, polite and patient guy. Arrived on time with 30 mins early heads up. Took as much time as it took to go over all possible points of diagnosis & provided me a comprehensive report of all issues & recommendations. Answered all my questions with proper justification. This is exactly what a customer would want! My problem is not yet solved but a proper diagnosis is equivalent to 90% of the solution! I am pretty confident that my system is in good hands and would be fixed soon. Thanks Jason! Would highly recommend them!

Rescue Air is an all encompassing company. Top of the line products, quality installation, professionalism, and last but definitely not least, customer service. Jason took the time to explain everything and told me what I do and DO NOT need. No over selling. AND he genuinely cares. Some companies drop the ball once the product is installed...not Rescue Air. Jason just came by to replace my first filter. Hot summer ahead? I'm chillin with my new, energy efficient Lennox unit. Thank you!!!

A/C went out Friday night before Memorial Day weekend. Called at 7:30 Saturday morning expecting to leave a message and call was answered. Was told someone could come between 11-1. Michael (owner) showed up right at 11 and quickly diagnosed the problem. He was extremely informative and friendly - walked me through the problem. Gave me straightforward options and made sure my family would be comfortable for the weekend. Will definitely call again when needed.

The company was hired through Costco's A/C program. Jasper, our project/sales manager did an initial consultation and thoroughly examined the existing house and systems. During the decision making process, he was quick to respond and worked with us patiently to find the right system and price. His patience, attention to detail and thoroughness helped immensely during the process. Rescue Air was not the lowest bid, but combined with the Costco rebates and Jasper working out the various options, we were close. The installation was completed on schedule and went off without any issues.

Rescue Air was already on site installing a new unit for the 2nd floor. We asked them to inspect, test and get the 1st floor unit running as well. They agreed to do the inspection and diagnostics while on site as a courtesy Jason and Sergey, our techs, spent a few hours tracing the 240v and 24v gremlins all the way back to the air handler, fixing issues along the way. They removed poorly installed wiring, rewired according to proper code/standards, caulked the holes, cleaned out the unit and made it look almost like the new. Both techs were extremely patient, courteous and very knowledgeable. Jason answered all our questions regarding the Rheem unit, the evap coil issues and the Honeywell smart thermostat. The cost paid was for the parts.

As a card carrying member of the Rescue Air club, I expected much more, Of the five vendors I contacted, Rescue Air started with the highest price (23-25K for two 3 ton, 17 seer full systems with variable speed furnaces) and remained at the highest price during my negotiations. I can only say that I am SO happy that I chose to wait until the off season and shop around. Being a member in their club did not me any advantages aside from additional " throw ins " regarding labor and blown in attic insulation.

Everything went well. Roman the technician was super knowledgeable, answered all of my random questions about heating and cooling, and very much went the extra mile to make sure everything was taken care of. He even called later in the afternoon to make sure all was well. Thanks Roman!

Very impressed with the service that we received from Rescue Air; Roman was particularly helpful in explaining the products, answering all of my questions, completing a thorough inspection and providing a detailed estimate. What I was most impressed by was that Roman was genuinely concerned about our needs as a customer and on how Rescue Air could best serve those needs; the installation crew were very professional, efficient and very neat. Our family feels very strongly that we made the right choice in choosing Rescue Air.

I left a message for Rescue Air very late on a Friday night, not expecting to hear anything until Monday. To my surprise they called me back within the hour and set an appointment for Saturday afternoon. Saturday afternoon the Rescue Air technician, Jason Reyes showed up on time. He was very professional, knowledgable, and got right to diagnosing the cause and remedy for our AC cooling problem.

After a small fire in my house last spring, the smoke remediation company cleaned out the central A/C and heater to remove any smoke residue. Afterwards, the A/C worked fine. However, this was the first time I tried to turn on my gas furnace after the smoke remediation clean-up and the furnace would not heat. I called Rescue Air on a Thursday, told them of the problem and advised that I also needed a seasonal maintenance check-up. They sent out a tech (Dean D) on Saturday morning, who checked the system, immediately diagnosed the problem and advised that someone had switched up a wire to a wrong connection. Dean quickly corrected the problem and the furnace immediately began heating. Dean also performed a standard fall maintenance check-up for the system and all else was working fine. I had the option of paying $89 for the standard maintenance check or joining the service club ($143.40 for year or $11.95/mo), which included two standard maintenance check-ups for fall and spring, plus other benefits. Since I knew I would have an A/C check-up done in the spring, the club price brought my cost down from $89 per call to $71.70 per call.

I called 10 different companies to try to get estimates and understand what was going on with my AC. With every company, I felt like I was being sold this or that and they were just trying to push product on me. Rescue Air took the time to give me a full review of my system and walk me through everything that was going on before telling me I needed a new system. They also gave me the option to choose from a variety of units and were able to unbiasedly tell me what the best one on the market is instead of just pushing the one item they are authorized to sell. I also told them how important value was in the system I wanted to purchase. I own a home and plan on making it a rental so it will be with me for a long time and I wanted something I wouldn't have to think about for a long, long time. They not only found me the right system but did a great installation and went above and beyond to repair some of my duct work since it wasn't optimized to it's fullest potential. I came into this process not knowing what to think when it came to ACs and didn't know who to trust. The guys at Rescue Air taught me more about my system than I ever thought I would know and I feel confident I made the right choice. I would highly recommend Rescue Air.

Roman and the team were very responsive and were honest and upfront about the services done. I was impressed with his integrity and willingness to offer multiple solutions for our problem. I will certainly use them again.

Roman had saved us once before, so I knew exactly who to call when our A/C started acting up. I called this morning and Roman was able to come out at a time that was convenient to my already busy schedule this afternoon. He was on time, professional, and went straight to the issue. It ended up being an issue an electrician will have to address, but Roman was patient and very thorough with his explanations in educating me on the basics. Having his guidance for the work involved and cost expectations for those services was above and beyond the level of service expected. You really can feel that Rescue Air prides themselves on putting customers first, it isn't always about getting the extra money from your clients! Good customer service with great service still exists! Roman with Rescue Air has gained a loyal customer.

Ramon came out ON TIME, he was quick, to the point, and professional. I have not used their service yet for repair (just diagnostic), but if you're in need of a company that will come out on a Sunday on time and get to the point, THIS this THAT company. Will Definitely use them again

Rescue Air chose their name well because they rescued me tonight when my Central A/C stopped cooling in the middle of this July heat wave. I came home from work late this evening to find the air inside my house at nearly 80 degrees. I called Roman at Rescue Air way after normal business hours and he showed up at my door very shortly thereafter and within 2 minutes identified the issue. A few minutes after that, the entire repair was done and cooling air was pouring out of the vents in my house. Roman also took care to clean up a very small spill of water and took time to explain to me the reason the cooling had stopped working and the steps he took to make it fully functional again. This high level of professionalism is in stark contrast to the HVAC company I used previously a couple of years ago and whose service technicians were unfriendly and didn't instill trust in me that they cared about the job they were doing. I highly recommend Rescue Air as this is my second experience with them and their service has proven consistently high and knowledgable.

Words cannot express how truly happy I was with the entire team. They were very patient and listened to my concern. Additionally in a recent hot summer streak that Dallas is currently experiencing (108) I called rescue air after my first attempt with a previous company did not address the issue nor knew what they were talking about. ROMAN came out as a courtesy to help determine and explain the situation...this all happened within the same day...ON A WEEKEND. I can absolutely recommend This company as they want to maintain their high level of ethics that is rooted in their family. I look forward to my next AC checkup because I know I can trust this team...and trust is the one thing that is very hard to earn and so easily lost...but they have my trust. My review I posted on google included here as well: I have to say - the reviews are to the T. A family owned company that really keeps its word and values. It's very rare to find a company and people (Roman / Josh / Tim) that go out of their way to try and show you the root cause and explain what needs to be done but at the same time show you that you can trust them and that they really do have your best interest. I am still beyond shocked at the service / and the "never feeling rushed" level of comfort I received. The ratings I went off of initially were on Angie's list (here) and I absolutely am amazed at the promptness and priority I was given. -Kevin

Roman from Rescue Air was the ultimate professional. He responded quickly on a weekend, showing up within an hour of when I first called. He identified the problem in my complex HVAC system within minutes and cool air was pouring back through the vents in my house 20 minutes after he arrived. He also told me where to find the unusual sized replacement air filters inexpensively for my system. He refused to charge me for the repair because it was so simple! I was amazed. Having just moved to Dallas from NYC, I couldn't believe the level of service. And on the way out the door, he helped fix a broken garbage can that I couldn't repair by myself!

It was great they went through my system provided me with a detailed check list and made a couple of recommendations that I will be having done in the following month. Very honest and upfront as always.

Evaluated system and determined there was little to no refrigerant in the system. He indicated (verbal and written) that there was a leak in the coil. Due to the age of the system, he recommended a full system replacement with three options ranging from ~$8k to $13k. He also gave the option that we could recharge the system but that it likely would continue to leak. Decided to get a 2nd opinion. Other company evaluated system and said coil was NOT leaking and that the leak was actually in the outdoor suction line and could be easily repaired. They recharged the system with R-22 which was 35% per unit cheaper than what was quoted from Rescue Air.

Rescue Air gives you a 2 hour window which I really appreciate so I'm not tied down for 4 hours. The tech showed up on time and introduced himself. He diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 1/2 hour. He also performed additional checks on the unit and gave me input on the unit and how it was running. I felt they were A+ from setting the appointment through the final repair and clean up.
