Everything went wonderful.

We were not unhappy with the service provided by our previous company, but we thought the price was too high. So, we wanted our existing system repaired, and we wanted a new, lower-price monitoring contract. The company representive made suggestions, worked efficiently, professionally, and did everything on a timely basis. We are pleased.

I had a horrible experience with my previous alarm company and was anxiously waiting on the end of the contract so that I could find a new company. I found Lakewood Alarm Co on Angie's List and liked the comments people gave about their experiences. I contacted Kenneth and he was prompt, courteous, and friendly. He set up the equipment, double-checked it to make sure it worked correctly, and went over the operation of it. At a later date, my telephone, tv, & internet provider cut the electrical lines to the alarm and it began beeping non-stop. They refused to correct the matter. I called Kenneth and he went through the steps with me to stop the noise. He came over a couple of days later and repaired the line. Talk about over & above!!!

The people from Lakewood Alarm Company were on time. They did their work correctly. They did exactly the same as they promised me over the phone. They are local, which I like. They pretty close by and so it’s convenient. Their pricing was definitely fair. I would continue to use their services in the future.

They were very good. They were very forthcoming with all the costs upfront. They advised me of pitfalls when trying to end my other contract. I would rate them very high.

They were very expensive and I didn?t use them. I installed it myself. They were extraordinarily competent and knowledgeable about the products. They didn?t try to upsell at all and were willing to work with any kind of equipment. They are a local company, and I was impressed.

My first contact was leaving a message which was returned quickly. The appointment was within a few days and the installation was a couple of days after that. No complaints can be made about customer service. There has even been follow-up about my alarm permit number.

This was a very positive experience. Having worked in the alarm industry myself many years ago, I was initially inclined not to use the system at all because my experiences working behind the scenes was that most alarm companies treat the customer poorly after fear-mongering them into signing a bad (for the customer) contract for installation and monitoring. My motivation for activation was a reduction in my homeowner's insurance premium if I used a monitored security system. Lakewood came out and delivered on their service. I was pleasantly surprised when the tech arrived on time and physically presentable. He did not look like he had been crawling through attics all day. His professional demeanor caught my attention. Of course, having spent several years in the industry I asked him some pointed questions about the system and the Central Station that most of the general public would not know to ask. He was on top of his game! After speaking with a Cental Station operator and supervisor I was pretty well conviced that these guys knew what they were doing. Not long after obtaining their services I accidentally opened a monitored door without disarming the system. They contacted me less than 20 seconds after I tripped the alarm. After confirming my ID, etc., the proceeded to tell me which zone was triggered and asked if I needed service. As promised, they followed up that event with an e-mail to me advising of the incident. I would recommend Lakewood without hesitation to anyone looking for an alarm monitoring service.

Kenneth with Lakewood Alarm responded right away to our request for an estimate, and then we scheduled him for an installation soon after. A few weeks after the alarm was installed, we had a bad sensor - he helped me troubleshoot over the phone and came out to fix it at no charge. He is prompt, dependable, and honest and I highly recommend the company.

Kenneth always shows up on time. We have a security camera situation that was giving us problems. He identified and fixed the problem and then was always available for any questions I had.

Kenneth came out to add a zone expander to the original system as I had two zones combined when first installed. I also had a sensor adjusted. The expander was 60.00 and the service call was 65.00.

Kenneth was able to come out to my home the same day I called to inquire about setting an appointment. He was very pleasant and professional. I greatly appreciated the time he took to thoroughly inspect my old alarm system and get it up and running again.

I wanted to use a locally owned company. Kenneth was very responsive and was able to come to my house the very next day after I called. I have an old house, and he estimated that my alarm system was about 10 years old. I had recently purchased the home and could not get the alarm system codes that I was given to work. Kenneth reviewed the existing system. First the keypad displayed an error code of Open Circuit. He crawled around in the attic and solved that mystery. The system was still unresponsive so he installed a new keypad. Still no luck. So then he installed a new guts of the system (a new box.) There still remained a communication error between the box and the keypad, so he got into the attic and installed a bit of new wiring, and I am up and I was up and running the very next day. He was prompt, professional, answered all of my questions, and gave me a great tutorial on how to operate my system. He gave me lots of "insider" information on how the system works with the City, and what the procedures are. I am very pleased -- and would recommend this company to anyone. They had a coupon on Angie's List, too, which saved me some cash. (The $200 I spend included three months of monitoring.)

When I moved, I wanted a local company for my home security system and found this one. They had to replace the box and keypad that were already here from another, nationwide company. They also installed a couple of additional detection devices and replaced some that weren't working. It cost a bit to do all this, but the monthly monitoring charge is half what the national company would have charged and I didn't have to sign a long-term contract. They were friendly and professional and seemed very competent. My system was up and running pretty quickly.

Rick Wegmann was very thorough and did a great job. He is part owner/salesman and actually installed my system as well. He went over operation of the system and thoroughly explained it to me. He also did a great job concealing all of the wiring with no exposed wires and made sure all of the wiring in my attic was tacked down and run over the beams instead of just strewn across the attic floor. The best part of the system is that the monthly monitoring is only $16.95 a month, of which, my homeowners insurance pays all but $3.00. I called a lot of companies (7) and am definitely happy with my choice.
