I was very pleased with the service. I will call on Star Appliance again if I have appliance repair needs. Dave answered my call promptly and scheduled a service call the next day. He was polite and answered my questions about my refrigerator and a second dishwasher. The dishwasher was not working and I asked him for a second opinion. The previous repair service just told me that parts were not available. Dave got the replacement part information and explained that the cost of the parts would be more than the cost of a new dishwasher. He ordered a part for my refrigerator and called within days to set up an appointment to install the gasket.

They helped me understand as to why it was not working and also if was better to replace or repair. It was an owner operated business and the gentleman was very responsive. He was very responsive over the phone. He always showed up when he said that he would show up and he was very timely. He was very professional and it was a good experience overall. I would consider him to be very reliable. The first time that I had him over was again a repair or replace type of a question and he was able to perform the service very quickly, within thirty minutes. The second time, he recommended replacing because the repair would cost more than a new unit.

He was awesome. He was very professional, timely and very good at what he did. I recommend him to everybody I know. I would rate him highly.

David is a saint!!! This is THE and quot;GO TO GUYand quot;! - stand up guy! He examined my fridge and gave me the background on the problem and then fixed my garbage disposal for free! I want to stress that he couldn't fix the fridge or the washer and dryer, due to specific model design problem - but he didn't BS his way through that or run and hide! Don't expect the free garbage disposal deal, because it took him a quick 5 mins to do that - strictly for me - LOL! This guy is a diamond in the rough! He arrived when he told me he would. checked the washer and confirmed the problem and solution. After telling me what it would cost for the repair and receiving approval of the price, he removed and replaced the valve, tested the washer and asked if I needed anything else. I told him no, thanked and paid him. I was very pleased with Dave and highly recommend him to anyone in need of appliance repair. He was very professional.

I called Dave and asked him to try and fix my old GE washer. The machine is over 20 years old but I've used Dave in the past to fix my refrigerator and dish washer. He can work miracles with old appliances. Unfortunately, this time the appliance was beyond repair but he gave me good advice on what new washer to purchase and where to buy it.

I was given an appointment between 8-11 AM. Around 9 I received a call and was told they would be there in 1/2 hr. Right on time they showed up. They asked me my problem. Asked a couple other questions as they examined the ice maker. I was quoted a price for the replacement and was told it had a 90 manufacturer guarantee. After the installation was completed, they showed me exactly what had happened to the ice maker and why repair was not an option. They were done and gone by 10 AM. A job well done.

The name of the gentleman who came was David Messick. He was a nice gentleman. He was very nice and professional. When he told me what was wrong with it and fixed it, he had the parts there. When he fixed it, he gave me the old part which was good; because my husband would have wanted that. I just wanted to be sure that he gave me the part which he was replacing. He gave me the old part and I was very happy. He was very nice and prompt. He was a nice man. I would recommend to others that he was prompt. He returned my call in couple of hours after leaving a message. He came by the next day and did the work quickly. My dryer is working perfect again. I definitely needed that. I didn’t compare the price. I called him because he was close. He came very promptly. He did what he had to do and I was very happy with that. He came when he said he would be here. He called me before he came. He was very prompt. He answered my questions and told me what was wrong. He was very professional and did the work quickly.

The serviceman was very courteous and he did a great job. Will use him again in the future.

Very prompt service, only took about 2 hours from time of call to finish the job. Very professional and took the time to explain the problem.

Initially came to repair my clothes dryer. He accomplished this perfectly in a few minutes. A short while later he came to repair the icemaker in my fridge. He change out the unit and everything worked. 2 weeks later the icemaker again required attention. Dave Messick came back to my house at no charge, made some adjustments, and now icemaker works perfectly. Very professional service.

Dave came to the house figure out what the problem was fixed it and only charge for the travel to my house, very fair and honest business man.

Next day service appointment was scheduled with appearance at scheduled time. Mike quickly diagnosed the problem and made the repair - even cleaned the the freezer section. I appreciated the no nonsence, efficient repair and how to avoid the same problem in the future.
