I needed a quick refinishing because the house was put up for sale, and they were the cheapest around. As far as their ability is concerned, I really don’t know. They polished my front door lock which was a nice thing for them to do. They were okay.

I was very pleased, and my door looks brand new.

The Contractor was responsive and professional. He did everything as promised and was punctual. He honored the Angie's list discount and also took $25 off his price since I provided the paint I wanted him to use on my front door. The door faces the south and could not hold a layer of varnish more than a year. He removed the door, put on a nice temp door, took the door to his shop, stripped it, repaired cracks and put three coats of paint on it. He returned and installed it on the day promised. Great job. No complaints. I would use him again.

I didn't want to use them again as I felt their prices were exhorbitant. I found a new door wax with uv protection and did it myself for about 95% less than their maintenance fee and it looks just as good. $11 to do myself vs. $200 plus for their services A no-brainer for me.

They did a great job and left everything spotless. Doors were damaged and he fixed them and made them look like new.

Marvin came to our house to looked at rain damaged exterior doors. He gave some ball park estimates for repair or replacement. Seemed knowledgable. Called him in a couple of days and said let's get on with the job. He said he'd be by the next day. Haven't heard from him since.

Restore Your Door does quality work. Their prices are not the lowest, but they are very professional. Taking the door to the shop allows longer drying time an no fumes in your house. It takes a very short time to remove the door and install the loaner so they are in and out in a very short time. They are punctual and honest.

On 09/18/10 the Master Service Technician came by between jobs to show us the door hardware that they had to offer. We selected the hardware desired and we asked if he could do the installation while he was here. He said yes and we had the hardware replaced on both the front and back door. The service technician was very knowledgeable and friendly. They will be our go to company for all our door needs.

I called a couple of times and was able to speak to Marvin Macotta. I told him that I wanted to either refurbish or replace our front door, depending on price, quality of original door, etc. We scheduled an appointment for him to come to our house to see the door. Marvin was on time and after inspecting the door, explained that the door was good quality and could be refinished, and that the door glass could be remounted and sealed, and that they could add a dead bolt to the door. Pricing was clearly laid out during our discussion. Marvin made an appointment for his assistant to come and remove the door and install a fixed temporary door. I received a written estimate for the work. His assistant came on the appointed date and time, removed the old door and replaced it with a fixed temporary door, and we agreed on color and finish for the interior and exterior surfaces of the door. The following week they reinstalled the refinished door and it looks great. My only complaint is that they didn't install the deadbolt I asked for, nor did they re-key the door lock as requested. The installer told me that Marvin would need to do this work later and that he would be in contact with me when he returned to Houston. I haven't heard back from Marvin, but in fairness, I haven't followed up with him either. Althought the original quote included the dead bolt and lock re-key work, the cost related to that work was deducted from the original quote when the door was re-installed and payment made at time of service. Overall I am happy; they do very nice work and are easy to work with. My only disappointment is that I had expected that all of the work (dead bolt and lock re-key) would be performed at the time they installed the door as originally discussed.

The work they did was done well, but felt that they charged too much for the service. It also took longer to finish than I anticipated, however the job looked very nice, when they were finished.

The door was picked up by Herman Macotto. He installed a temporary door which had to remain closed and secure the whole time my door was gone. Herman was courteous, professional, and pleasant. The door was returned by Marvin Macotto. He was prompt, professional, and careful of my property. The door is beautiful, and the brass is gleaming. I couldn't be more satisfied. Marvin suggested that I call them in about two years to have a maintenance done on the door. They would be able to do that without taking the door away again.

Restore Your Door did a really great job. My overall experience with them was great. I checked around for prices and they had the fairest prices I could find. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves. Everything went very well during the project.
