Description of Work: Generator Maintenance

Description of Work: Based on prices quoted from other firms, we were happy with the price of the solution. Everyone we worked with was very professional. During sales and immediately prior to the start of installation I felt that expectations were clearly set including things required from us and what to expect from them. I was left a bit let down in that everything didn't go quite to plan and when it didn't the communication was not very good. To be fair, much of what didn't go to plan was due to factors outside of the vendor's control - City of Houston inspectors who wouldn't go inside our fence unless we were home. However, when everything didn't go strictly to plan I did not feel like the vendor did a good job of keeping me informed or in pushing to complete the installation and all inspections. Once the installation and inspections were completed, startup was quick and easy and the employees very professional. We have only used the generator once so far - for about 2 hours - and we had some issues with uneven power (lights dimming back and forth). I contacted the vendor and they presumably sent someone out to fix/replace the carburetor during the day when we were not home. Again, I never received any followup communication so I don't know if it was completed and no power outages have occurred so I don't know for sure if that issue is fully resolved.

Description of Work: Excellent folks to deal with. They do what they say they will do when you have a maintenance contract to monitor your home generator's operation. They take the worry out of is it worth it or not? It is well worth the price.

Description of Work: This company had a big deal, but it was for a smaller generator than what I needed. They said they could upgrade to a larger unit, but the saving s would have only been around 150 dollars where the smaller generator would have been a savings of $1000.00.

Description of Work: Semi-annual generator service (1st of 2 at this price). No problems. Services performed as promised.

Description of Work: Can't say enough good about them!! I bought a rental home in Sping that had a full house generator and transfer switch. Grasten moved it from that home to my home in The Woodlands, they disconnected generator, gas and electrical and restored both to normal for a home without a generator, provided a cement pad and brought the generator and transfer box to my home, ran a gas line to then generator, installed and wired my electrical to make he generator function. All of his was very labor intensive. All was done efficiently, professionally and courteously. I would highly recommend Grasten.
