I just want to preface this by saying that George Wayne Mechanical came out SAME DAY to help me with my AC troubles. I've lived in TX my whole life, and your AC always goes out on the weekend, and it's always at least three days before anyone can fit you into their schedule. That's just Murphy's Law in action. The fact that GWM came out just a few hours after I called is truly amazing-- and they'll get recs from me for that reason alone. So, my AC went out early Friday morning (of course), Labor Day weekend (of course), and I had a group of friends coming in that afternoon for the holidays (of course). The unit was totally frozen over and I thought there was no way I'd be able to get someone out to fix it. But Hudson took my call and Seth from GWM was there by noon. He not only fixed the problem, but ran a bunch of tests to make sure he fully understood what was happening with my unit. It turns out that I have two units: a new one out back, and an old-as-dirt one up in the attic. Not surprisingly, they aren't playing well together. I had another company come out last summer (the company sent by the home warranty people), and that guy put some more freon in the unit and told me not to run it below 72 degrees. Seth told me that was just a cheap bandaid, and the real issue was that there was a leak in the attic unit's coils-- caused by the stress of trying to keep up with the new unit out back. He worked his magic and now the house is a cool 70 degrees, no problem. I so wish that I'd contacted GWM last year so that I could've found out about this problem sooner. I really respect companies that take the time to stop and explain how stuff works. As a first-time homebuyer, I knew very little about my unit (let alone that there were two!). So to have Seth come in-- THAT DAY!-- and run such an in-depth assessment of the issue was truly fantastic. GWM saved the weekend for sure, and I will definitely suggest their services to anybody who's looking for a reputable HVAC repairman. Overall, both Hudson and Seth were courteous, professional, and honest about the work that needed to be done. I am very happy with GWM and look forward to working with them in the future.

The Tech that was sent out was Seth. He was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. My old unit was dead and he performed a temporary resurrection until we were able to get the new unit installed. The new system was installed when they said it would be and at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend these guys for their honesty and commitment to get the job done. I will be sending all my coworkers and friends to them when they need A/C service or installation.

I can't believe that we actually found someone so honest, genuine, dedicated, and talented. We had several quotes for an entire HVAC replacement and Seth was the only person who went in the attic to give a genuine estimate. He was dedicated and focused on making sure that my family was comfortable and happy with our new system. Not only did we get the top of the line equipment, but his installation crew designed and modified the attic duct work to fix a chronic problem of having the rooms on the far ends of the house too hot. His installation crew was top notch. They were very educated and meticulous with their work and took the time to make sure everything was the way it should be. I was kept in the loop with all time-lines and the team stayed late to finish the new duct work. Every room in our house is comfortable and we are extremely happy with our new system. All of the companies that came out to quote were only interested in swapping out equipment "chop and swap" and seemed more like car salesman than industry professionals. Seth took my architectural house plans and identified flaws in our old system and came up with a working solution. The modification costs were calculated in the quoted price along with a commitment to making it right. I have a 10 year parts warranty on the entire system and Seth will be the only person who will ever work on our heating and cooling needs going forward. Please keep in mind, the craft is in the install not the equipment. Seth's quote was right in line with the others, but we felt so comfortable with Seth and his team that we had to trust our gut. He feels like family, and families take care of each other. Do yourself a favor and at least have him come and take a look. He is extremely gifted in terms of knowing his stuff and it shows in the quality of his workmanship. I had such a wonderful experience that I wanted everyone in the metroplex to know how awesome this company is. Take the time to read all of his reviews and it will become clear that they are taking great care of their customers and will continue to deliver on service.

Seth was very polite and finished the job in a timely manner. He made sure everything was in working order and what was needed to keep my ac running properly. And may I add, really affordable.

Seth helped us out. Was a bit later than stated. Home advisors set us up with a 9-10 but they had to change to a 1pm-3pm and he was a bit later than he had said but things happen. Traffic and construction in Texas is the absolute worst(says the guy from Chicago). Everyone was extremely nice between Hudson and Seth(the two I talked to). Very helpful. Explained everything. Not too much. Took like 10 minutes in 108 degree weather.

I would highly recommend this young company! I could easily have been advised to replace a very expensive coil, but instead refilled with freon gas and all is well! Very pleased!

In & out in less than 45 minutes. AC repaired and rapidly cooling us down! The ac unit is shimmied in between the east wall of the house and the fence with 1 1/2 foot space to the wooden gate. Good job he was young, slim and knew what the devil he was doing. This company has my business for LIFE. Did I mention that the heat index was 106 while he did his magic. Each person I talked to was extremely nice. When Seth examined our AC unit, there was a number of problems with it. He very easily could have said it just needed to be replaced, but found a way to repair it instead. We were very happy with his work and his attitude, and would gladly do business with him again.
