I contacted Glass Doctor on a Friday afternoon, hoping that they would be able to schedule an appointment to come to my house the following day to replace the windshield. I was anxious to get the job done as I wanted to sell my car as soon as possible. They had no more Saturday appointments, but the technician stated that if I came to their office first thing in the morning, they would be able to do it there. They did as promised and even had a comfy massage chair to use while I waited. It took only an hour and a half and they did a great job. The staff was very friendly and professional. The price was very competitive.

Glass Doctors came out to provide a quote on the window replacement. Upon agreement of the quote, we proceed with agreeing to the work. The process involves ordering the glass which take about a week to arrive. Once it arrived, they called to schedule an installation. Two technicians came to the house and installed the glass quickly; however, there were a few issues: one of the garden windows broke at their office and had to be reordered. The other garden window was too big for our window (and would need to be reordered), and after installing the large window, we found a bubble in the glass. The reorder was placed with the technicians as well as an order for window screens and a replacement window for our bathroom. After about a week and a half, I had to call and follow up on my order. I was told someone would call me back, but no one did. Three days later I called again to which they apologized for the failed follow up and gave me the status of my order. I re-verified the order to confirm the next visit would have all of our glass. The order was ready just a few more fays later and we were able to schedule an installation. The second install went fine and we were glad with the end results.

I was very pleased with the service over the phone, they were able to schedule me for the next day. The person who showed up, however, was very grumpy. Everyone is entitled to a bad day now and then but she made no effort to even try to be nice. It came across to me that I was bothering her. She did fix the windshield though in a timely manner. If I needed them again, I'd ask them to send someone else.

Called on Monday 05/12 to schedule the appointment after researching info on Angie's List. Was told that "Booker" would arrive on Tuesday 05/13 between the hours of 13:30 and 17:00. However; due to rain in the area he was unable to perform the service. Was contacted by representative (Tasha - very nice) to reschedule for the following day (Wednesday 05/14) for the same time period. After waiting most of the day (till 16:15) I called Glass Doctor to speak with Tasha. Was informed that she was in a "meeting" and that she would call me back. 30 minutes later she calls me and indicates that "I did not get on to the books" for Wednesday, due to her being out Wednesday morning with a sick child. Later part is understandable, but does the whole process stop because ONE person is out? Not happy. She was very apologetic and I told her unless "Booker" or "anyone" could arrive by 09:00 on Thursday 05/15 that I would have to go with another company. The next day "Jamie" arrived at around 09:00 and did fantastic work. Had a little trouble getting the old windshield out, but once that was done, did an outstanding job with installing the new one and making sure that all debris was cleaned up...etc. My car moldings that run along the windshield DO NOT adhere to the car as they did, but I am assuming as the glue and windshield settle in, things will be OK. The irony is that due to "hail damage" I had these moldings replaced the week before by another Auto Body shop. Other than that small glitch and the time delay (due to some bad weather) my experience was fairly good. Would recommend them (especially their work) to anyone.

I could just say ditto to all the other reports about Glass Doctor. The repairman arrived on time, was very pleasant and professional. The window was repaired in about an hour for the price given to me over the telephone.

He came and looked and said he wasn't sure if he could order the piece. I was called later and said they could order it, so I gave them my credit card number. He showed up about a week later with two different kinds of material; one rubber and one plastic that didn't match. He said he couldn't get what he needed even though the lady called and said they could. He tried to use a razor blade and it didn't work.

To complete the job took 2 1/2 weeks. They were late, and I'm convinced were not coming until I called to see where they were. The tech showed up approximately 5 1/2 hours after time range they had originally set. After taking the measurements on a Thursday, he indicated they would order the new window and return on Monday to install it. By the following Friday a week after the initial visit, I called. They promised me the next Monday. When the tech arrived to install the new window, he realized they ordered the wrong type. The glass needed to be tempered because of it's close proximity to a door. It took an additional week to re-order the correct window then install it.

Called on Friday, given an estimate for 365 bucks and a confirmation that the job will be done on Saturday. Nobody called on Saturday, so I called them around 10:00 AM to get the time when the technician will come. Number one, she told me that the customer service on Friday gave me the wrong quote so the price will be 100 bucks more, plus she doesn't know yet what time the technician will come, so she will have to call me back. After two hours, the customer service called to let me know that part is missing so the installation has to be done on Monday and this is after I waste the whole morning waiting. I ended up canceling the appointment and go with another vendor.

Excellent. I called them this morning and they said that either I could stop by or they would send someone out. I decided to stop by their business with the table in the back of my pickup on the way to work. They told me they could make me a new glass while I waited. It took about 20 minutes and the work was done expertly, even with the added difficulty that the hand made coffee table insert was not exactly square! The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient. I highly recommend them.

James Cleary, the service technician, arrived exactly on time at the house, where he got to work on the car immediately. He took his time and when he finished he made sure I understood what I should and shouldnt do with the car for the next 24 hours. They provided a written guarantee on their work, and also on the glass, should it need replacing again for a year. When James finished, the car was clean, the glass was clean, and all was as it had been.

The experience started out very negatively at first because the first set of workers did such a bad job of installing the new pane. It was a little crooked and just did not look right. I called the shop and spoke with the manager and he assured me would be fixed properly, soon. The next day he sent another worker to fix the problem window pane. The manager was able to turn a bad experience into a good one. Thank you!

I did not hire Glass Doctor to complete the work, because they never showed up to give me an estimate, as I requested numerous times. Upon my initial call, I set up an appointment for technician to come out to my home, to give me an estimate. When they didn't show up, I called and they acted, as if they didn't know that I had an appt. So, I scheduled yet another appt, for which they again did not show. The technician subsequently called and said that he would come by that day, but never did.

They were very professional and they did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Everyone I spoke with was very nice and courteous, from the person I spoke with when I called for an estimate to the repairman that came and replaced the windshield. They even called and asked if they could come by earlier than the scheduled time, which was a pleasant surprise! I would definitely use them again if needed.

The technician arrived on time and completed the replacement within 30 minutes. He was professional, pleasant and left the area with no trace of his ever having been there. I've had windshields replaced before where residual glass was not picked up....not The Glass Doctor.

THE COMPANY PROVIDED AN UP FRONT QUOTE ON THE PHONE. THE PERSON WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL, AND I WAS ABLE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT DAY AT MY HOUSE. THE PERSON CAME WITHIN THE SCHEDULED WINDOW AND REPLACED THE WINDSHIELD QUICKLY. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE QUALITY OF THE WORK.

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THE GLASS DOCTOR AND WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

WHEN WE CALLED, THEY CAME OUT THE NEXT DAY, WE WOULD HAVE LIKED IF THEY CAME THE SAME DAY. THE WINDOW WAS LEAKING AIR BUT THEY CAME AND FIXED IT.

WE FELT LIKE THIS SERVICEMAN WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND CAME WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD BE HERE. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS COMPANYS WORK.
