Glass Doctor of Dallas Metroplex

I called Glass Doctor on a Monday morning after the window above our front door completely across the entire frame. They had a rep come out that afternoon to give me an estimate for the window as well as for a piece of glass for a dining table. The estimator was friendly and courteous, though I did feel the price was a little on the high side for both items. However, they did honor the Angie's List $25 credit. The estimator also took the time to tape up the window on the inside and outside because I was concerned about the glass falling if my children slammed the door, as they often do. It took approximately a week for the new window glass and table top glass to be delivered and installed. There was a slight problem with the tabletop glass not being cut correctly, but the window was installed quickly and professionally. The gentlemen who performed the installation also took the time to carefully measure the tabletop again as well as sketch a diagram using contractor's paper. The new glass was cut and delivered in less than a week. Each time, the company only collected one half of the balance due until the final corrected tabletop glass was delivered and installed to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with Glass Doctor's services and will definitely use them again.

When I contacted the company for information, the service rep. was very friendly and provided all the information I needed along with a quote for the service. I called back the next day to schedule the work. The technician arrived right on time and completed the work very quickly. The technician was also very informative and explained the process very well.

The company was a referral by our real estate agent - after a complete rehab on a 30 yr old residence we had double pane windows replaced in 3 bedrooms, patio door, and breakfast nook - service technician explained that window seals were no longer air-tight and interior condensation in the double pane caused unsightly staining. We reviewed 3 other companies (including Glass Doctor) on Angie's List and selected Glass Doctor based on the referral although they were higher in cost among the other companies reviewed by several hundred dollars. Technicians Eric and Jose kept me posted on their arrival and they were proficient and professional in replacing the glass, seals, mouldings and with clean-up - all in one day. While the cost was a factor in our decision, we felt that the company had a good track record and they offered a transferable lifetime warranty on the work.

Overall it was great. I called them at 2 pm and they came out the next morning and replaced the window. Clean, fast, professional installation.

Found the vendor on Angie's List and filled out an online form to set up a service time. A representative called me within 30 minutes to schedule for the next day. Nick arrived early in the allotted window, came to my office garage, finished early and was courteous and professional. A similar service from Safelite was nearly $200 more a year prior. Glass Doctor will repair chips and cracks smaller than a dollar bill within the next year through a warranty that came with the service. This is great, as my commute is nearly all freeway and 80 miiles roundtrip. I have already recommended them to a couple of folks at work and would definitely use them again

They were one of the only companies that could replace the decorative panel in the door. They were able to duplicate what we had before. They did a good job as promised.

I had a great experience with this company. The guy came to my door and said he'd be done in 1hour 59 minutes and 18 seconds. He even let me watch him work. I've been driving my car for a month now and have had no issues.

They came to the house. I stayed in the house. He called when it was finished. He gave me some directions on curing time. He left. I did not see him perform the work so I can't address that.Even with all the rain recently, there have been no leaks.

This was a horrible experience that caused damage to my home from continued leaking. They would not warranty their work even though the invoice states they do. I will never use this company again, and have told others to avoid this company.

It went great. They came to our house to replace it.

They had the factory glass in stock since it's a common car and they were out the next day. It took an hour or two to perform the replacement which the technician did on his own. He was polite and professional and answered all of my stupid questions and gave me a pretty detailed explanation of what to do with the car, which basically boiled down to don't drive it today, leave the tape on for 48 hours, and try to be gentle closing the doors for a week. Apparently a lot of other people are reticent to have their windows replaced due to leaks afterwards. I've driven through several torrential downpours at highway speeds several times now and haven't experienced any leaks. The glass looks exactly the same as when I bought the car. Overall I'm very pleased.

We were very happy with the service provided. Kind of wish the technicians hadn't smoked during breaks/installation bc the smoke drifted into the house since we some of the windows had been removed.

They replaced a broken window which was of a good size like a double kind of window. I would use them again in the future.

We think they charged us about $400 roughly. We would recommend them to the others. The last experience with them was not so good. We will use them again in the future.
