Great old school vacuum shop! They stock parts for my vintage Kirby, and had expert advice on the installation at no extra charge. The manager has a wealth of knowledge and is very friendly, and was himself impressed at the age of my vacuum and the fact i keep it running. I lucked into finding this shop while getting my tires rotated next door, and will do business again and again.
Description of Work: Bought hard to find parts for a vintage 40 year old Kirby vacuum that was passed down from my wife's grandmother to her. These guys had the parts in stock.

Charged over $150 for a repair they botched then wouldn't stand by. Older "senior" technician is about the most arrogant and rude service staff I've dealt with. In surprising twist the younger technician could teach this guy some basic customer service lessons.
Description of Work: Simple retaining clip repair/replace.

I toke in a Sears vacuum and they said they could fix it if they did not have to have new parts because Sears won't sell parts to other business if it is not Sears. They fix it without the help of Sears!
Description of Work: I have used their services for years. They always do a good job. You can't go wrong with these people.

I took my upright vacuum cleaner in to repair a frayed electric cord. The cord could not be repaired and had to be replaced. Big D recommended a longer cord than the original - it cost a little more but, I can now vacuum with fewer electric outlet changes. The downside: the cord tends to tangle more easily. The cord cost $20, labor was $15. The repair was completed in one day, and I've had no trouble with it since.
Description of Work: Replaced a damaged vaccuum cleaner cord.
