Selected this company based on yrs in business (20yrs) and it was a family owned. When we contacted them and told them they were selected to do the roof, they tolds us a day and time they would be out. They arrive on time and got the work done by the end of the day. Everyone was happy...or so you think! I few months afte the repairs were done, we started to smell a musty smell on our patio and we notices what appead to be mold on the ceiling. We were planing a remold anyway, so we went ahead and removed the ceiling to see if we could determin what was going on. What we found was awful! There were large holes in the roof decking and the decking were "moldy" looking. I contacted the insurance company who looked at the roof and pointed out what they they thought the problem was and told me to contact the roofer. I called Jason from Hubbert to come and look at the roof, he told me he would be out by the end of the day. He looked at the roof and told me "the repairs were not done right" and that he would get it take care of right away. He told me that he was on a job, but that he could get to me by the end of the week.I told him that was fine as the other contracters we not due to start until the end of the next week. When he did not show up for over a week, I contact him and he told me he would be out by the weekend. He did not show that weekend so I called him again, he told me he had to go out of town but that he would be over right away. When he did not show again, I contact the office in hopes that the owner/father could help me. I was told that he was not in, but that he would contact me before 5:00. I did not get a call, but Jason did show up. He did some "repairs" and left. I wanted to test the roof before I replaced the ceiling, so I test the roof with a hose. It was still leaking. Let me be clear, the water did not come out in drops, the water streamed out of the deacking. I called back to the office again and told them I wanted the roof fix. They told me that they would get someone out right away. Jason showed up again to do "repairs". I told him I wanted to test the roof before he left. I did the water hose test again, the roof was still streaming water. He told me "it does not rain like you are holding the hose". I went on to tell him, that it appeared it DOES rain like that because of the water damage done to the decking and ceiling! I showed him the area the insurance company believed the problem was. He did a few more repairs he left. He told me that he would be back in 24 hrs to check it. If he came he left no note. Needless to say, I checked it and it appears that the tube of caulk he used worked....for now
