It went well. They arrived on time. Did what I asked. Told me what they'd done. Billed me properly.

I was searching for a company to come and check some broken sprinkler heads without charging a fortune. Found a coupon online for Texas Lawns. Called and spoke with the owner, Brad. He was great. Said he would send Troy. He showed up ON TIME and did a very professional job! I would recommend this company to anyone! I plan to call them for other work as well. In these days and times, it's imperative to have someone with integrity. Texas Lawns has it.

Troy came out to look over our sprinkler system, which was malfunctioning. He did some testing and determined that we had a bad solenoid, which he was able to repair later on that same day (he had to go out to get the new part). We then discussed the state of our lawn (in need of help due to the faulty sprinkler system) and we agreed on a price and a timetable for him to come back out to re-sod the bald patches. Despite the fact that his scheduled helper ditched him at the last minute (I guess it's hard to get good help in the landscaping business), Troy nonetheless showed up on the agreed-upon date and stayed on the job until he was done. He also guaranteed the work (a nice bonus for my "peace-of-mind factor"). What else can I say? I'm very pleased with the work and the price was fair. I will definitely be having Texas Lawn Services come back and work on other aspects of the yard as soon as I can get on their schedule.

After putting the sprinkler system into suspense over the winter I found that I had significant leaks when I turned it back on in mid March. After a system evaluation from LCRA, and noticing a significant leak in the backflow preventer, I went looking on Angie's List for a repair service. Texas Lawn Services was the only company which was not so booked up that could get to me in the time frame requested, and responded promptly to my email inquiry from Angie's list. They were very professional and honest in assessing my problems. Their estimate on repairs had to be upped, but I anticipated that this would have happened anyway in talking to the LCRA specialist who gave me a rough range of what to expect. They showed up on time and had to make a return visit, but got the job done in the time frame I needed.

It took a couple tries to arrange for a visit, but once they got here, they were courteous, professional, and resolved my sprinkler problem promptly. My only issue (if you can call it one) is I've had a difficult time paying them! I guess this is good though as it tells me they are more focused on doing a good job and making a positive impression than money.

The bid he gave me seemed a little high. He seemed to be very knowledgeable, was nice and he came exactly at the right time. He was just a nice person.

We were pleased with the work they performed and found their prices to be very reasonable. We plan to use Texas Lawn Services again to install our sprinkler system and landscape our entire yard.
