I had prior contact with Neptune Sprinklers a couple of years ago so I contacted him again, but I never heard back from him. My initial experience when I contacted Neptune Sprinklers for the first time was very good. We have an existing system that was put in by the previous owner, and it's horrible, so he was going to dig that out and put in an entire new system.

This was a fantastic experience. Chris Berkebile came to my house at my convenience (saturday morning) to give me an estimate. I accepted and he scheduled the work. The crew came out on time, completed the entire project in three days, and the system works flawlessly. The crew members were clean and professional, and did the work to my specifications. I was very pleased and will recommend this company to anyone that asks. I will use them again next spring to extend the system to further parts of my yard.

In August of 2011 we had an irrigation system installed by Neptune. We have been happy with the system and posted a positive report when that work was done. It has been almost a year now and we have had to call Neptune twice. The first time, in March, I noticed a large area of our yard was always wet and was getting worse, muddy. I called Chris and he came right out, checked the area and the system then showed me that one of the outdoor water spigots for the house (not part of the irrigation system) was dripping and was causing the problem and instructed me how to fix it. He was very gracious and didn't charge me at all for the call. This past week we discovered that our system was not working at all because the control panel in the garage was completely blank. My husband checked the breaker and a couple of other things and then I called Chris. Again, he came out and brought a new panel. Recent thunderstorms caused a power surge that ruined the control panel. He replaced the panel and reset the system and went on his way, again with no charge to us. My husband and I are both very impressed with the service we have received from Chris and Neptune. I highly recommend this company.

Chris Berkebile of Neptune sprinklers and his crew prepped the lawn (front and back) for a new lawn and sprinkler system. Our lawn (water thirsty St. Augustine grass) was totally gone after the drought last summer. After killing off weeds, they weed-wacked and raked the entire lawn. Then two truck loads of topsoil was brought in and put into flower beds and spread over the yard. Trenches were dug, and sprinkler system was installed - with separate zones for flower beds, a drip system in the large back bed so that water would not be wasted to evaporation, bubblers for new trees in the back. Then Bermuda sod was brought in for the front, back and side yards and planted. The entire process took about five days. Chris and his crew were neat and efficient and cleaned up all debris. About a month after the work was completed, Chris returned to put in drip lines - one to each new plant - in the large back flower beds after they were planted. We are very pleased with both the lawn and the irrigation system. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Berkebile (Neptune Sprinklers).

Was put in contact with Neptune by a landscaper who uses them for irrigation installations. They were able to coordinate timing which was a huge plus. Had a few delays trying to meet for the estimate. The installlation was done very quickly and I am overall happy with the system. They can be hard to get a hold of during the busy season so patience is a must. They use top brands and feel the coverage is good. Would have liked to have more tutorial on tweaking the heads/rotors because that is something that will be ongoing with any system.

The bid we received from Neptune was by far the lowest of the three we received. The quality and responsiveness of their work was superb. The sprinkler system is in and running and the sod they installed looks great. They were professional, responded to all our questions, cleaned up after the job and overall did excellent work. We have absolutely no complaints, would use them again and would certainly recommend them without reservation.

Chris, owner of Neptune Sprinklers, provided a detailed bid for the project and revised it accordingly for the additional grass we desired. He was accessible to answer questions via e-mail, text, and cell. The process went according to the established time line. Additional crew was brought in, at no extra expense to us, to assist with the extra grass installation, due to the volume to be installed and the location in the back of the property which required hand hauling of the grass to the location. Rocks (thrown out by the rock cutter when the irrigation trenches were dug) were hauled away by the crew. Once everything was complete, Chris: walked the property and explained the difference zones and recommended duration for watering; made sprinkler head adjustments after running a demonstration cycle; demonstrated how to use the outdoor control box; and provided a key for the control box as well as an outdoor cover for the shut off valves. We are already delighted with the results produced by our irrigation system.

We weren't sure about whether to install irrigation-- but I am SO glad we did!! It definitely makes life easier, especially because we started with dirt. Chris did a great job on the installation -- quick and with a minimum of tearing up the front lawn. (The back was literally dirt, so it didn't matter there.) He was extremely honest with us, suggesting things we should do (for a bit more money) and things that we didn't need to do (which saved a bit of money). I strongly recommend spending the money on an irrigation system... and if you are going to spend the money, call Neptune.
