Description of Work: Derek arrived on time. He vacuumed the chimney with a wet-dry vac. I thought he would have used chemicals but he said no--not recommended. He inspected the chimney outside and inside. He said there were some loose bricks inside but repair was not needed immediately. He said I had a few more good years left on the fireplace. When I wanted repair work, I should call a masonry/brick contractor. He was there maybe 30-45 minutes. Honestly, the cost of service was not in line with the length of time he spent in my home cleaning the fireplace. Nice guy though.

Description of Work: I scheduled and confirmed appointment date and time. On the scheduled day, the serviceman called wanting to arrive earlier than agreed upon time. I had prior commitments and could accept an earlier time. So, the original time was left in place. Approximately an hour before he was due to arrive, the serviceman called to cancel, stating that someone had stolen his tools. I rescheduled to a date of his choosing. He did not show up or call to give reason for not keeping the appointment. When he did call again to schedule, he stated that he had been out of town and had not realized that it was a holiday when he scheduled the appointment. It was New Year's Day. I would never recommend this company, nor would I ever use their service again.

Description of Work: A father-son team arrived, but the son |was the one who inspected and cleaned our chimney and fireplace. The father sat in the truck until the end when he came in for me to sign the receipt. After they left the room was covered with soot. It took days for us to clean up the mess.
