Went with a different contractor due to other projects that impacted the projects that he bid.

It went well. They did fine, there were a couple of things that we did not like and they came right back and fixed them. They were on time and did what they said they would. I would use them again.

Very responsive initially. We scheduled an appointment and he came to work up an estimate to paint our home. He arrived as scheduled and was going to work up a quote and email it. We never received the quote and have since located another service provider.

There were some delays in getting the work started because of the cold winter weather. We would have appreciated more frequent updates on the tentative start date, which had to get moved several times. However, once the crew arrived, they worked quickly and efficiently. The new siding looks wonderful. They cleaned the work site up very well. We're very pleased with the work.

The did a great job replacing all my fasia, some of which was rotting. They used hardi so this should last. The roof needed to be resecured in areas that the fasia had rotted. About two weeks after the job was done, I saw high winds lifting the roofing. They promptly fixed the issue.

It went very well except the work crew was late arriving the second day. Jon and Dana were a joy to work with and very responsive and timely. The new windows look great and I am very pleased.

The two crews, siding and painting, were outstanding. I can't say enough good things about these men. There were 5-8 men here each day. The crew bosses were outstanding. They worked hard all day and then cleaned up the mess every day before they left. They were considerate and made every attempt to save plants and other items close to the house. John, the owner, was clear and accurate in his bid. While a bit higher than another bid, we liked John so much, we went with his company and were not sorry. I would highly recommend JP Construction. The crew boss informed us each day when work was finished.

Jon came out twice to walk us through the project to replace the old crumbling siding on our house with Hardie Plank siding. He gave us an estimate which was exactly what we paid. We had a siding crew and later a painting crew. His crews were punctual, professional and more than happy to answer any questions that we had as the project progressed. The sheathing and siding were installed in 3.5 days. Each day the crew cleaned up thoroughly. We had a few days delay due to cold and rainy weather, but when the paint crew came in they power washed the siding, caulked and painted in a day and a half. Everything was put back as it was before and the foreman did a walk around with us to look at everything and to make sure we were satisfied. I highly recommend JP Construction and will not hesitate to call upon Jon again.

I had a hot tub inside my house and I was moving so I had to get that out of there. I had JP take the wall out and brace it. The hot tub mover got it out and where I wanted it. After it was out, JP reinstalled the wall. Everything from the baseboards, crown molding, drywall, insulation, everything in the wall they took care of in just ONE day!

J.P. was very responsible. His crew were as well n They did a good Job and charged a fair price. I have worked with contractors in the past and this was by far my best experience. They were a bit delayed by the heavy rains, which was completely justified. Also as a woman, to be treated with the same respect and professionalism as some one in this industry would treat a man was a breath of fresh air!

This company did exactly what they were contracted to do. They answered calls or emails promptly and professionally. Their crew was prompt and professional. They took attention to detail and were careful to do everything correctly. They cleaned up daily.

Just a good experience overall. Jon is really friendly and earnest about providing what you want. His crews were courteous, on time and knocked out a pretty big job in just about a week with touch ups. Oh and thats another thing - when the work was done, Jon came back out and we did a walkaround. We had miscommunicated on the way I had wanted my windows framed and I wanted some more detail on the trim around the entrance. He had a guy out the next day to knock it out. Our Deck was a total addon too. Near the end of the job it was looking really good so I just asked him if he could add that on (an extra 1K - worth it) to put some durable paint on our deck - it looks fantastic and has been holding up really well to all the gullywashers we have been having lately. who they are workingOh - the house looks unbelievable. He got three requests for work from drivebys to our place while they were siding and painting. His prices were competitive with others in the area, we feel we got a very high quality product and it was worth every cent. Thats another thing - his crew takes pride in their work because they like who they work for. Go figure! ;) Next year we hope to have some major remodeling done to the master bath and the back of our house - Jon is going to hear from us!

.The work was done on time and according to specs. They showed up when scheduled and completed the work in one day. I am very pleased with the work done by JP Construction and would not hesitate to hire them again.

Everything went according to plan. All the workers were good at their jobs and spoke english. These were important characteristics because they all worked on their own without supervision from the head office. We are quite satisfied with their work and our house now looks great.

From the get go, Jon was very professional and efficient, and specific about what needed replacement and what didn't; he was the farthest thing from a pushy or long-winded salesman. As i think it states in his description of his business his was neither the lowest or highest bid we got out of three, but it was only a tad bit higher than the lowest, and I liked both what other reviewers said about him, his company's energy star and leed certifications, and length of time operating. I was not let down. He told me that they would start work in 3-4 weeks from when we signed the contract, and indeed, it was closer to 2.5/3. He told me that it would take about a week to get the job done, and indeed that was what it took--with a couple of little final fixes adding on only a day or two--i was impressed by how fast that 'punch' work got completed. His crews were very polite, respectful, neat; accommodating to whatever our needs were. They moved everything (very carefully) to do their work (they even took out and re-installed our window blinds). Every evening they fully cleaned up after their work. They were fast and efficient--and clearly teach crew (window, siding and painting) were experts at their craft--it was a delight watching the work be done (when i was able to). The final painting job was meticulous, and our house is getting all sorts of compliments! I would HIGHLY recommend JP Construction. A side note: I had hoped to pay about 1/4 less than I did; but I feel like that extra few thousand dollars is well worth the value I got.

Jon came out to our house, twice to talk to us and guide us through the project. This was at our request and before we even signed a contract. We replaced the siding in the front and on the chimney, the trim and fascia all around the house, installed gutters and had the house painted. Jon's team was skillful and hard working. I was comfortable asking them to stop and explain how things were going. When they ran into unusual circumstance (mold under the fascia) they consulted with Jon and he fixed it without additional costs or changing his estimate. I absolutely recommend

They work an 8-5 day so they arrive at about 8:30 and clean up and leave by 5pm. They only needed to have access into my house to replace the window. Otherwise they needed access to electrical outlets. I was at the house until noon the first day while they were working and they seemed to work on every side at the same time. Each evening I came home, huge progress had been made and the place was clean. We had a slight misunderstanding about painting the back porch wall which was inside a screened in porch. But they painted that as soon as they realized I wanted it painted. One of our few summer rains delayed the painting phase slightly.

Our modest 25 year old Milwood home was in need of a major exterior face lift. After taking several bids for replacement of siding and windows, we went with Jon. Everything was professional and top-notch from start to finish. The whole project was done in a little over a week, start to finish... and now we've got ourselves a very sharp-looking central Austin house! We have several neighbors who are schoolteachers off for the summer or otherwise home during the day and they all told us that Jon's crew worked so fast and effectively. And not a speck of trash or debris left behind. Just overall a really great experience and I would not hesitate to recommend JP Construction to my friends and neighbors.

Jon Polson was prompt in responding and easy to work with. The crew members were diligent in doing the work, responsive to our request to add an extra coat of varnish to the front door, and were polite and hardworking. We are very pleased with the appearance of our home and the front door looks great.

JP Construction did real good. It was great. They were very competitive. They would have gotten the bid if they had the particular window. He didn't represent the window manufacturer that carries the certain type of widow that we needed. We wanted a privacy glass in a certain window are because it was 6 feet from our neighbor, he represented a group which had good windows but they didn't do privacy glass. Everything he did was great and he was so responsive in all the follow-up questions. I would use him again.

First met with Jon and went over what we wanted done. He did tell us up front that it would be about four weeks before they could get started because of other work assignments. The very next day we received the estimate and signed the contract. We really enjoy contractor that write up contracts up front detailing what is to be done and materials to be used so there are no misunderstanding later. About a week before the job he called to let us know we were next and actually started early. His work crew and foreman, Nel, were excellent. He ran the entire operation with great precision and attention to detail. As stated by a previous client they worked hard, quality was great, stayed on schedule, adjusted to change orders we had, and even worked on a holiday to get the job done. They are completely trustworthy. I had to leave to pick up my son and also left the house open without any worries. Jon was always available when I needed him and returned calls promptly. We are already back in the queue to get the roof on our porch replaced and we know his estimate and the quality work that will occur when they come back cannot be beat. Jon and JP Construction will be the first people we call when the next job comes along.

They responded quickly to our request for an estimate. They had someone out the next day, however they were an hour early for our appointment which was okay. The gentleman looked over the room to be enclosed however he did not seem that interested in the job and stated they were quite busy right now and they won't be able to get to our project for 3 to 4 weeks. It is now one week later and we still have not received the estimate. My first impression was correct, they were interested in my business. I will not contact them again. I have since started the job with another contractor who returned the estimate the same day and am very pleased.

I initially contacted Jon Polson while he was doing a job on the home of one of my neighbors and was impressed with the job that was being performed. Job stopped by a short time later, we reviewed the work to be done and agreed on a price. Jon emailed me a few days before and inform me that the job was to start on 6/2/2013 and would be completed in two days. The crew arrived and after removing the existing siding it was determined that the flashing, which was original from1986, needed to be replaced. Jon's roofer took measurements and a bid was obtained for the additional materials and labor required to replace all of the flashing, all to our satisfaction. The chimney also needed additional bracing as it was able to be moved back an forth and side to side and would eventually dammage the new flashing. The roofer even added additional hardware cloth to the chimney stack vent to prevent the squirrels from getting inbetween the chimney stack pipes which was a recurring problem. The siding was replaced with HardePlank and trim which was painted to match the existing color scheme on the house. The entire job took two days as promised, including the replacement of the flashing, and the entire workspace was cleaned. The staff was very curtious and professional. We are impressed with the entire expierence, and very satisfied with the work that was done.
