Everything went fantastic. From the initial consultation through project completion, Jamie was on time, communicated everything he was doing, confirmed all appointments 1 or 2 days in advance, maintained flexibility in his schedule when I had a sudden change to mine, gave me options to choose from, made good use of the devices/hardware/cables I already had, gave me new ideas to consider for the the future. I feel like this is starting to sound like I was paid to write this or that it sounds like all of his other reviews... the only reason it would is because he is consistent and thorough and loves what he does. It was evident in talking with him. I wanted to find a person or small company that I could use and build an ongoing business relationship, rather than just be another job ticket for a big company, and I can say I definitely got that with Jamie.

Jamie knew his business, was very transparent with all the costs, timely, etc. Awesome experience.

Jamie was perfect from first contact to completion of service. Extremely competent, professional and thorough. Explained everything, fixed everything, synced all remotes and left us with a system that is completely under our control. The best money I have spent on home entertainment improvement.

The installation went great. He helped us figure out the best location for the TV (centered on the wall or other) because we did not do that homework well enough before he arrived. His installation work was great, with good quality and professionalism, and he cleaned up well after that work was done. We have another wall mount and TV to install, and we'll definitely call Jamie to do it.

Jamie recommended the Harmony 900 as it would be cheaper, easier to setup, and offered over the phone help if I encounter any issues. He was professional and knows his stuff. I'm going to give it a try. Manual macros are hard to manage and sometimes start working.....and I'll probably add components to my home av system over time.....so being able to modify on the fly is a must. If I do need onsite AV services in the future, I'm calling Jamie.

Jaime is a pro. He is in demand so I had to wait a couple weeks to get him. I had interviewed others and he certainly knew more and had simpler ideas on how to accomplish my goals. He figured out what we needed and hooked it up with instructions for how to operate the various components. It did take me a little while to be able to make it work. But I can do it and it makes sense to me . My hubby is still in the learning mode but is catching on. This is not an easy install. All our equipment was acquired over the last 10+ years. I consider that it works well and that we can work the remote a miracle!! Yes, I will use him again. Worth the wait!

Jamie arrived on the date and time as scheduled. Worked all day and completed the tasks. Walked me through the steps on using the new items. He is a great communicator and very organized about his business. He knows the products/prices and recommends only the best. I would recommend him to anyone looking to set up a media room.

This is the second time we have used Jaime. He is friendly, professional, easy to work with, answers all our questions. He started work promptly with a helper he had brought, was teaching the helper as he installed and completed the work but it didn't seem to slow him down. His prices have gone up a bit since we last used him about 2 years ago but he is worth every penny.

I don't know where to begin - we contacted three audio/video consultants and Jamie has been SO responsive!!! He understood the needs, and listed several options for us to consider. He also had pros and cons over certain equipment for us to consider and decide. He had the expectations of his service clearly communicated up front. After his service, we had three zones within our house all individually configured, can control those zones separately and collectively from my iPod, iPhone, iPad and laptop. Our game room now has four different inputs (karaoke machine, blue-ray dis player, macbook pro, xbox 360 kinect) connecting to two tower speakers and the speakers on the ceiling. It is beyond awesome!!!!!!After his service (over 6 hours), he sent the summary document describing the configurations of various equipment, along with the itemized invoice. He paid another visit after a month for free to fine tune the settings. I have never received any services in any areas like this. I also have a professional services career, and learned professionalism from him!I would recommend Jamie to ANYONE! I can't wait to invite friends and colleagues over to wow them! Gosh, I love my house!!!!!!

We were very impressed with Jamie's services for our home entertainment needs. He was very clear in giving us different options for our particular internet and TV viewing needs. He included different price options for us to consider. His work was efficent and practical. He returned to troubleshoot a couple of issues for us. We will use him again and are happy to recommend him.

Jamie exceeded all of my expectations. He started off with an extensive interview about our tv viewing habits, preferences, priorities and budget. Jamie is not a "one size fits all" installer. He customized everything to our precise needs and wants. Jamie avoids spending money on technologies that don't work well or that might become obsoleted by products that are expected to come onto the market soon. Every single device he suggested gets used and works as advertised. The way Jamie sets up the programmable harmony remote controls makes everything a snap to use. Every veiwing contingency is pre-programmed so that there are almost no decisions necessary. We never have to mess with the home theater options or bother changing tv inputs, or anything like that. The mounting of the tv and installation of the components in our HT cabinets is a thing of beauty. Jamie selected an rf device to control the system so that the cabinet remains closed and all that is seen is the super-slim, low profile, flat screen tv. All the devices are totally hidden. The wiring is bundled and routed perfectly. Jamie installed a cooling fan and everything is self contained. Through the entire process, Jamie was totally professional. Jame is punctual, works efficiently, always replies to texts, emails and phone calls and is completely honest. He knows his business.

Performed all tasks, and made diagram of connections in a timely and efficient manner.

Jamie scheduled the visit on short notice and arrived right on time. He offered his opinion on the options available for a TV wall mount bracket and pointed out some risks that I had not thought of. I appreciated his full-disclosure approach. Once we decided on the type of wall mount he got to work quickly and completed the job in less time than estimated. Jamie was very thoughtful about using a drop cloth and cleaning up any mess created. He tested the system afterwards to make sure everything was functioning properly and even offered some suggestions as to how I might get more channels through a digital tuner. His price was more than fair. I would recommend him to anyone who needs assistance with a flat screen wall mount. Overall a very positive experience!

Jamie does an excellent job. He listens to what is important to us, gives us various price-level options and then constructs, programs and patiently works with us until we are comfortable using and trouble-shooting the media or other system we chose. His prices are reasonable. His service is on-time and he responds quickly to telephone questions and requests for help dealing with the television, internet or telephone service providers involved.

It was very smooth. Jamie and his team were punctual and finished the job in an efficient and expeditious manner. He spent time walking us all through the systems he installed, so we had a comprehensive understanding of how to use it. When there was a glitch he was available to walk through the problem with us and help us fix it.

Jamie is amazing! What I appreciate the most about Jamie is he tries to really understand what you want and then makes recommendations on how to get you there...very solution oriented and a great problem solver. He made some great recommendations and steered me away from some things that I didn't really need. He even told me the things I should buy myself versus buying through him because it made more sense. He seems to really enjoy his work and take pride in it. He is very honest and just a good guy and wants to make sure you are happy with his work. No wonder he has such amazing ratings on Angie's List -- it's all true! Such a great experience, I'll call Jamie every time I need any A/V or cabling work done.

Jamie arrived as planned and started by going back over the work to be done and the charges. He said it was best to charge me by the Hr as he thought it would go quickly and that the per hr charge would be cheaper than the per item charge. We agreed on all that was to be done and the charges and then he went to work. He started about 9:00 AM and finished at 6:30PM. Jamie was very pleasant to work with and was always willing to check with me if he had any questions. He had a lot programming to do for the Harmony Remotes and the BLU-RAY DVD. The programming took longer than he thought so at 6:30 PM he said it would be cheaper for me if he charged the per unit charge not the per hr charge. Jamie was very clean and left the work area all clean up. This was a good experience and we will have Jamie back when we up grade again. thanks Jamie for the great job.

I first contacted Jamie via email about a week ago to get an estimate re the installation of our new TV, sound bar, and Blu-ray player. My husband and I were impressed with both his honesty and knowledge and decided to choose him (he was my first choice, anyway, even before we received his low bid; his glowing reviews on Angie's List practically sold me from the start). We made an appointment for this morning and he showed up, on time, and ready to get to work. He installed everything in a timely manner and before he left, made sure that I was comfortable with the set-up and that I knew how to work the remotes. He even gave me some handwritten "cheat sheet" notes. Jamie is honest--he is the one who reminded ME about my receiving a $50 Angie's List coupon!--and his intelligence, warm sense of humor, and professionalism made the experience an even greater pleasure. I hope to have the pleasure of hiring him again in the future--he loves what he does and it shows.

We were very clear about our requirements, I think, but he listened very carefully and was very responsive to them. At all points he communicated in a clear and timely way about what he was proposing and the price so that we could make our own decisions. He even composed an image of what the new system would look like to include with his the proposal. We never felt pressured to take a particular course of action. He does not get a percentage on the equipment he sells, and we could have bought our own components should we have chosen to do so. He has also done extra work with us to program our old remote for limited functions with our new system so that my husband, who is gadget-challenged could continue to use the cable TV. He made another trip free of charge today to work on that problem and on another minor change we requested. He is very professional, very easy work with and very concerned about the satisfaction of his customers. I can only say that hedeserves the very high praise that he has gotten on this list.

I cannot say enough good things about Jamie and his company, his workmanship, his professionalism, his customer service ... It was never anything but absolutely enjoyable and entertaining to speak with Jamie. I don't know how he manages to be so professional and task oriented without ever making you feel that he's in a hurry, not to mention that he has a nice sense of humor/humanity about him that makes talking about the work easy and pleasant rather than techno mumbo jumbo ... He called me back the same day I left him a message and we made an appt. for him to come to my home to give me a bid. He saw and understood some of the challenges that he might encounter and bid his job, VERY GOOD PRICE! the same day as well. We scheduled work and he arrived with his helper and finished in 2 days (he had estimated 1-3 days). They were neat, clean and very considerate of my time and space. Jamie even painted our outdoor speakers so they'd blend with the house better than the standard white or black! Jamie was not satisfied with the reception on our XM/Sirius antennae (which he supplied, though I had to get the XM/Sirius components directly from them) so he re-ordered and returned to install a different antennae - at no charge! Jamie takes notes while working - very efficient and professional! - to ensure that he finishes the job to the last and most minute of details ... and that's exactly what he does. Bottom line, Jamie came to my home, sought to understand me and what I want/need out of my home sound system (a very personal and highly variable thing!), and then delivered EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED in a TIMELY & PROFESSIONAL fashion. THANK YOU JAMIE!!!!!

I called Jamie based on the recommendations on Angie's LIst and have been very happy with the decision. We had flood damage to a new house before we'd even moved in and, on a whim, I called him to ask about getting some wiring in for a home sound system while the sheetrock was off the walls. He was very accommodating, coming out within a couple days and pulling all the wires necessary to accommodate a future system. Jamie is very professional and kindly helped cull from my unfocused ideas a vision of what a good system would be for us. I knew that we had an opportunity while the walls were exposed, but no idea of what I'd want done. Jamie has been excellent at asking the right questions and making suggestions which fit well into what makes the most sense for our family. He is also extremely conscientious about budget and keeping me up to date with where we were with cost.

The work went very well, and Jamie was very helpful in teaching me what was being done, why and how. Jamie's pricing is very high for what was done, which I understood going in to the job. I was paying for speed since I didn't have a lot of time to get this work done. Also, Jamie is way overqualified for what I had him doing. I think his strong suit, and therefore his hourly pricing, is in designing and implementing new home theater /network systems. So, if you need him for that type of work I would highly recommend him. If you need someone to sling cable, you can find someone cheaper. After all is said and done, I got the value I paid for (speed, efficiency, professionalism, quality), and would recommend him for more value added work.

Jamie was difficult to reach initially due to a death in his close family. Once that was resolved I found him prompt and reliable, and his work was spotless. He repeatedly suggested ways that I could save money if I was willing to do some of the work myself, or purchase my own components. He emphatically did not insist that I purchase components from him. Despite that I did end up purchasing new speakers from him because his prices were excellent and I didn't want to bother with shipping and support from an online store. On the other hand, I saved a good amount of money by purchasing in-wall VGA cable myself through monoprice.com. In closing, I highly recommend Jamie's work, whether your project is $500 or $10,000. Ask him about iPad and iPhone integration with your home audio system too -- those devices are going to make $10,000 custom remote controls obsolete!

Jamie was very responsive, professional and knowledgeable. He was easy to communicate with and reliable. He was careful to minimally cut the sheetrock to run the wires and made sure his work did not soil the carpet. He looked at our other home theater system and recommended a cost effective solution to our broken infrared system. Was helpful on providing options for streaming video, computer networking and hanging a kitchen TV. Would definately use again.

It was an excellent experience. I called Jamie on a Tuesday. He let me know he had a busy schedule for the current week, but would call later in the week if he had any openings. He called on a Friday morning and asked if he could come that afternoon, which he did. He did the work previously described - everything worked great and he cleaned up also. In addition, he also gave me some good advice regarding my existing phone wiring and the possibility of cable vs. satellite for my tv. He was personable, knowledgable, and helpful, and I would highly recommend him.
