Description of Work: They did not really know how to trouble shoot, which is what they said they were best at. Were prepared to destroy my house to fix things that they did not even know exactly was wrong. Overplayed the credential of Master Electrician which these days only means that they are very old and out of touch and not current with how things work. Spent $900 and have absolutely nothing to show for it. Nothing. | |Brought another "expert troubleshooter" (call him contractor 3)basically a 30 something kid, who in 1/2 a day and at half the cost on his own (not multiple people like Decker) had 100% of everything both determined and solved and repaired. Not a single problem since. And at a similar price that another contractor (call then contractor 1) bid but was unable to schedule the time to meet my schedule. I gave Decker the bid detail of contractor 1, and they were clueless as to what to do. If you are building something from scratch, they may be good, but after the fact, they are just stuck in the 50's and only know to start completely over.

Description of Work: Provided additional circuits for a new air conditioner, both 230 volt and 120 volt and additional outlet in the garage. They arrived on schedule and did the work in a timely manner. I appreciate their scheduling the work when the HVAC installer was going to be on-site.

Description of Work: We needed several light pendants changed out very last minute. We were trying to prepare for a party and they pendants came in late. Decker Electric came out with little notice and stayed late to finish the job. They did a quality job - everything looked great. Overall I had a very satisfactory experience.

Description of Work: It's what Decker did NOT do that was the issue. We've been looking for an electrician for our apartment remodel and, on December 19th, were finally able to make an appointment with Reid, who said he would come between Christmas and New Years. He didn't show. When we called and reminded him about the appointment, the response was 'Oh, yeh...I'm real busy and can't take on anything else.' We've lost two weeks that we could have used to find an electrician who can come.

Description of Work: Installed new smoke detectors throughout my home - advised me to buy the detectors which would save me money which I appreciated- very friendly. They did an excellent job, and did not disturb my work day (I work at home)

Description of Work: Very short wait for services. Arrived quickly, and fixed the problem. A worker had blown an outdoor electrical outlet. I don't remember the cost but it seemed reasonable. I will certainly use them again.
