The service was fine however I was in sticker shock of how much it cost to repair 2 dripping faucets. The $520 was after being given a discount and no service call fee charged.

Our outside faucet was leaking and we needed a quick fix because our home is being listed for sale in two days. Michael came out and took one look and knew exactly what was wrong. He explained how he would fix it and why it was the best solution. He quoted a price that was exactly what he charged and he was extremely friendly and professional. This was our first time to use Ernie's, but are very happy with our experience and will definitely use them again.

We had a faucet that turns on the water to the shower and tub. The plastic part that you turn to turn on the water was cracked so we thought it might need new fixtures and such since there was a constant drip and we could not make it stop. Plus, we could not get the water to turn on and off properly. Fred was the best. He wore shoe covers, was extremely pleasant and courteous, arrived on time after the office called and made sure it was still OK for him to come. He came at the beginning of the 4 hour window so we were not waiting all day for him. He was totally prompt. He evaluated the situation and told me to go to Home Depot of Lowe's and simply get what he called a mixet handle knob and screw that on and that was that. He then screwed the screw that keeps the current cracked mixet handle that we have and the dripping stopped. That was it, no charge. We were so grateful, as we certainly don't need any extra expenses right now!! Thank you FRED!! What goes around comes around!!

I contacted this company for an estimate on replacing the sewer line at my home. The plumber arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and professional. He inspected my current line with the camera and identified several issues that needed to be addressed. He explained the problem in terms that I could understand and let me know what needed to be done. His explanation agreed with what I had been told by others and what I knew the problem to be. He gave me an estimate on two different options for the repair. I called the company to schedule the repair work. The staff was very accommodating and professional and Don the plumber was awesome. The technicians were prompt and courteous. The work required removing concrete and digging to uncover the old concrete pipe inside and outside the house. They worked fast and steady on a job that took some 9-10 hours. I was able to observe the work at every stage and ask questions. Don kept me apprised all along the way. They were especially careful to keep the area clean. My daughter commented on the fact that after a day of digging and working, the team's shirts were still crisp and clean. They cleaned the floor and the yard of all debris and raked the yard to leave it like they found it. Wen they left, everything worked well. A different team came back a few days later to pour the concrete and were just as impressive as the original team. They even raked the yard again and smoothed the dirt out again. I have had no problems and don't anticipate I will. I was very satisfied with their service and would highly recommend them to any one. The price was a fair one compared to other estimates I had gotten, and I even got a discount.

They came promptly and did the work for a fair price and didn't try to sell me something I didn't need. Tech was courteous and explained things clearly. It appears all the positive reviews here are warranted. I won't hesitate to use them again.

Got service on a Saturday call within 90 minutes. Martin was the tech assigned. He was neat and clean, professional and affable. He discovered a ball of roots beneath the toilet. He returned to the shop for a camera and and tracing device, showed me additional issues, and gave me an estimate for the work needed. Martin took great care to cover his feet and protect my floor, and was genuinely empathetic about the scope of the work that remains to be done. Though I'll get more estimates, I'm likely to go with Ernie's if they are anywhere close to the other estimates I get, mostly because of Martin.

Terry Brown came out and gave a me a professional and thorough explanation of what had to be done to comply with the current city codes, and why those changes are important. He put drop clothes down and paper slippers over his shoes to protect my floors and left the area in perfect shape. I chose this company because of their A rating, and will definitely use them for any future plumbing needs.

The plumber went to Lowe's 2X to get the job done!

He was very prompt and got right to work. We found him to be honest and knowledgable. He fixed the leak, fixed the hole in the yard and turned the water back on. He was finished in record time. I couldn't have asked for better service!

I had a provider to come to my home because of a mold problem. They informed me there was wetness in the wall behind my shower stall which was caused by a pipe leak and therefore I needed a plumber to fine the leak. I called Ernie's Plumbing service and ask for Fred who had been praised for a great job done. Fred came to my home checked the wall behind the shower and informed me there was no wetness because there where no pipes behind that wall. He also checked for pipe leaks and found none.

They did an excellent job from the initial conversation to the follow-up after work completion. The technician was very professional. Did not get upset when questions were answered and honored all discounts. The work was done efficiently and in a professional manner with no mess afterwards. I definitely have them on my list for preferred vendor for plumbing.

Fred is very professional, fast and polite. The appointment range time was between 2pm and 6pm and Fred arrived at 4:30 and the job was completed before 6pm. Hiring plumbers has always created anxiety but not anymore. We will ask for Fred at Ernie's Plumbing Service next time.

Nothing. Except, apparently to slydial our number repeatedly and push us to the back of the line over and over again. No attempt to redial the #, which is why it seems suspiciously like slydialing-- dialing directly into the customer's voicemail instead of calling the customer and confessing that their guy was going to be late. My wife had to take off from work for this. When the plumber did show, he didn't have the part. ??? That required several more days for them to locate and get back to us. By this time we've sunk so much time and money into waiting on this company that paying them anything was going to add insult to injury. Did I say the dispatchers were rude and blamed us for their delays? We both carried our phones with us when we were supposedly "called" by the company. Dispatchers were rude and blamed us for not answering, did the same via voice mail. We were both carrying our phones with us and got calls from other people. Both our phones have call waiting so we would certainly have seen it if they had called. They managed to tie up about eight hours It was the most frustrating experience If you want to be treated like a number and look forward to waiting all day long for a plumber who shows without the equipment to do a simple job, then this company is your best bet.

Took 2 days, left the whole jobs mess Roof leaking, and had to have another plumber come out to if their mistakes and a roofer to fix he damage done to roof. Tried to call Ernie to discuss, but he would not take my calls, nor return calls. Buyers beware !!

I had three plumbing companies come out to give bids on my drainage problem. The first two told me the only solution would be to tunnel under the house and repair the rusted pipe at the point of problems (approx 21 ft under house based on the first plumber's estimate). They couldn't assure me that this would absolutely fix the issue as the camera wouldn't go any farther than 21 ft through the old pipe. After receiving an 11,000.00 bid from the first plumber, I came up with the idea of rerouting the drainage out from under the house and hooking into the sewer at another point. The second plumber that came balked when I mentioned that possibility and said the run would be to far. When Nathan from Earnie's Plumbing came out and reviewed the situation, the first thing that came out of his mouth was that he would reroute the drainage out from under the house to eliminate the issue for that side of the house all together. I had not mentioned my idea at all. After he said that, I then brought up the 2nd plumber's objection that the run was to long. Nathan did the mathamatical calculations and said that with a 2 inch pipe, all the slope needed was a max of 22 inches and with a 3" pipe only 10 inches was needed. He said that there shouldn't be a problem. I told them to go ahead. They arrived 8:00 the next morning and by 5:00 PM they had the yard trenched and the plumbing done. Nathan had warned me that he might hit some irrigation lines and he couldn't repair any wiring cut so I might need to have an irrigation company available to fix those issues. He was right, There were 3 cuts in the irrigation and the irrigation company I got from Angie's list fixed them the same day. For a project that I was very concerned about, my experience with Nathan from Earnie's Plumbing was very positive. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

Overall I was satisfied, just didn't use them.

We were very satisfied with their work. Their quality of work is good and they are honest. I have recommended them to others and we have used them again. They are always really good about sending out the technician that I request. We plan on using them again. We have also signed up for their PMA and it gives you a 20% discount on all services and an annual check up.

I would use them and recommend them to anyone that needs plumbing work!

They were very prompt in their response to our inquiry and were able to send a plumber out in a timely fashion. They were not the highest quote we received, but were not the lowest either. We ended up using another company based on a neighbor's recommendation but would consider Ernie's in the future if the other was not available.

They were professional and prompt. The description of the product was spot-on. I would use them again.

Paul was the technician. I showed him the symptoms - leaky outside spigot when turned on. He quickly assessed the issue, provided me with a list of options and associated costs and explained why each different option would be needed and the related fix process. He also said that before moving to the next step he would let me know to make sure that's what I wanted. Frankly, I just wanted the issue fixed. Paul went to work, found the cause showed me the split pipe, and replaced it all in less than an hour, with the lowest cost option. I was very pleased. Afterwards he showed me some tricks to prevent this from being a reoccurring problem - fill the hole in the brick around the handle with hot stuff. Keeps the cold air from getting into the wall causing pipe issues.

The company responded quickly and sent a plumber out that day. There was a slight hiccup in that the plumber did not have the special key that is used to open the water meter box to get at the meter water cutoff, but this was resolved quickly. Once the water was cut off, the analysis and repair was conducted quickly and efficiently.
