He was polite and professional and prompt!

Martin was very helpful and professional. He made sure everything was working and gave me the cost of having a camera inspection should we need to call him back. I was pleased that there was no cost for the call today.

UPDATE - As always, I want to be fair in my reviews and I have to say that Ernie's redeemed itself after the initial issues described below. I was contacted by the general manager, Randy, who called very concerned with the event described below. His professionalism was admirable even under the adverse situation and he promptly sent a second plumber to resolve the issue. I am very pleased with the follow up. The only reason that Ernie's get a "B" is due to the initial problem and it has been rectified. The initial contact with Ernie's was very pleasant and the appointment was set for a Friday afternoon. The technician showed up on time. Aside from that, the technician's performance was lacking. It was clear that the technician was ready for the end of the workday based on his cursory review of the problem and his assessment of the repair. Had we followed his advise, we would have a hole in a wall that may not have needed it and he would have overcharged for the service. The leak in the home was coming from an upstairs bathroom and leaking into the master bathroom below. The leak was in a specific area. The technician looked at the ceiling and the bathtub and said the leak had to be coming from the bathtub. He told us he couldn't finish the work that day and he would have to come back later. After he left, the leak continued, concerned that the tech had misdiagnosed the issue, we called a ac company to make sure we weren't having issues with our unit that might be causing the leak. The ac techs came out and performed a great job, but that is another review. After ruling the ac unit out as the cause of the problem, they did the unthinkable and actually tried to diagnose the problem at the source. After getting permission, they cut a hole at the leak location and were able to find the leak coming from the toilet upstairs, not the bathtub as indicated by Ernie's tech. This problem persisted for another week because the tech from Ernie's didn't conduct a thorough analysis. Due to his lack of action, the light fixture in the area is ruined due to the fact that the water filled up the light cover and back flowed into the light socket!!!!! Bad enough, but the potential for a more devastating result was very real. I'm not an expert, but I know that electricity and water don't mix. Long story short, we suffered extra damage because Ernie's tech didn't really want to diagnose the problem

I had a leak from the above-ground pipes that are attached to my well and pump. There's a 12 inch straight section that I asked them to replace, which included a valve and gauge. The written estimate was $642! I went to the supply store and paid $65 for the parts, and did the job myself in one hour. I don't mind them making a living but charging what would have been $600 for an hour of easy work, is crazy.

He was very professional, price was a little high but reasonable, and I requested that he return to do the camera inspection when the foundation leveling of the house would be complete in about 10 days. He agreed.

Our outdoor plumbing leak developed at the worst possible time: on the evening of July 4! Nevertheless, Ernie's sent a plumber all the way from Kaufman to rescue us. The service rep got here within the hour, gave us a very reasonable quote, and got down and dirty with our plumbing leak just as the sun was setting. Working in the dark, he fixed our leak (with real copper tubing!) in short order with minimal input from us. He had a great attitude, too. A very positive experience for us!

Professional. Very patient, prompt and explained why this happens and that it might happen in the future. He also recommended pouring bleach down into the drain once a month to prevent it from happening.

Bill was awesome! To make a long story short he determined that the lever was broken. As we discussed the options told him I needed the master tub to have a stopper installed. He went to Home Depot and bought 2 sets of stoppers and overflow covers to match my new hardware and installed both. He said that it is very touchy as my house is old and the pipe could crack or break. If it broke would have to go in through wall to repair. Original tub had wall that could easily be accessed so he proceeded and slowly worked the pipe - successful and proceeded with new installation. The master tub did not have easy access if the pipe broke so he carefully and very slowly worked the pipe - he was successful. Wow I didn't know plumbing could be so scary. I will call Bill from now on - he is a plumbing master! Thanks Bill!!!

We were very pleased with Bryan from Ernie's Plumbing. We had never used them before and found them to be highly recommended here on Angie's List. We called late Monday afternoon and they were at our house at 9am the next day. They had originally given us a window of 4 hours but then called early Tuesday morning to let us know that someone would be there in 45 minutes! Love their promptness. Bryan was very professional and friendly. Went right to work and did an outstanding job! He even made a trip to a local hardware store to find a new basket strainer that would match our original ones because we are very picky about how things look. He valued our customer satisfaction which sadly seems to not be the case with many companies nowadays. We will definitely use them again if we have any future plumbing needs!

Jeff was our plumber and he was fantastic! He came to our house on Thursday to locate the leak. Once he found it, he agreed to let us dig up our landscaping and the dirt around the leak in order to save us some money, since it was quite a large area. The next day, he was very prompt and repaired the leak. In doing this, he also replaced a bent copper pipe that has evidentally been bent since the construction of our house. He also relocated some valves in order to make it easier for us to access, along with adding a shut-off valve near the house so we don't have to go to the meter box to shut off the main water supply. Basically, he listened to my husband's wishes and accomodated him. We are very pleased with his work and his friendliness and will definitely call again when we need plumbing work.

We had a lot of little jobs for Ernie's. The technician was polite, but all business. He did not waste much time chit chatting! He jumped in and got to work. Excellent results, very thorough, very fast. He laid out a giant mat to work on, and made no mess whatsoever. He found some unforseen potential problems as well, which he was able to explain in a very concise manner, and he had the parts in his truck. So, no extra time wasted. He also gave some honest advice about an upgrade we had been considering. We loved his work and would use again.

Josh was the best certified technician I've ever seen. He was so knowledgeable and didn't mind answering all of our questions. His work ethic was timely and neat. I would consider him to be a true craftsman with a great attitude. Ernie's Plumbing gets a AAA rating from us!

The plumber said he could not address the smell if it was not present at the time. He was courteous and punctual. He referred the services again if we have the smell again. Immediately, after he left I received a follow up service call. I appreciate the customer service.

They were very professional

Their price was very fair and reasonable. They did a great job and we were very satisfied. I liked their fair price and professionalism. They did what they said they were going to do and took care of what we needed them to take care of.

Over the weekend, I noticed few drops leaking from my outside water faucet. I figured the washer was out and needed to be replaced. However, since this is my first home I couldn't figure out the main water shut off. Decided to make few calls to plumbing service companies. I contacted 3 of them - one didn't return my call . The second one quoted an exorbitant amount ($250). I also wanted to change shower heads based on the budget This same company I called wanted $140 to replace each head. Needless to say they will never get my business. It was clear that they were quoting high prices as they didn't want to send someone for a small fix. Ernie's was the only company that said they will send a representative who will check the work and give a quote. Their quote was very reasonable ($149 to fix the leak) and $60 to replace each head. I decided to leave the shower head out and just fix the leak. The representative was very courteous and he fixed the leak in no time. Also showed me proper way to fix it for future reference. Showed me the location of main water shut off as well. I used the coupon from Angies list to bring the cost of service down. Overall I am pretty happy with the work and would definitely recommend them.

It was not an emergency, and we were pleased with response time. From that point on, every communication seemed scripted to extract as much revenue as possible from a fix that required less than 30 minutes. The technicians appear to be incented to toss out extremely high estimates, especially to women, and if challenged, the response is to offer some marginal price reduction of the original outrageous estimate. Whatever sticks, right? Caveat Emptor.... When the follow up call came in, we stated we were unhappy but wanted no more discussion. The owner called later- again more excuses and a possible review in "about two weeks when he gets the paperwork from 'his girls'"..... This is not a good business model that is worthy of Angie's list. We have no expectation of, or desire to hear from Ernie's Plumbing again. In the spirit of fairness, the repair is acceptable.

Went well since this is a know issue with delta faucets.

Had Ernie's in for a quote...but I thought they were high so I had another plumber come out. They were even higher so I called Ernie's back...they were nicer and more professional. Terry was great...punctual, courteous and very professional. Had the job done in a few hours and we were once again bathing in hot water!

On time, professional - expained the process.

I used Them last February. They were really good. He cleaned up after himself. He came in and got it done right away. He got the job done. The demeanor was polite and nice. He fixed the broken pipe in my wall.

It went well the job took just over 30 minutes. Due to the location of the clog the plumber had to splice into the vent line in the attic and install an access plug . This was a simple matter of cutting the plastic vent pipe and installing the access. parts shouldn't have cost more than $5.00. This modification took just a few minutes. I was initially charged a lot more but after writing a letter I did receive a check in the mail. In summery the plumber was punctual, professional and I was please with the service. I just believe there fees to be on the high side.
