From the initial phone call to the time the tech arrived (Kevin) was with in an hour. Kevin arrived asked what the problem was and like a Dr. check out all the areas that had water coming up. Kevin gave a diagnosis of what the problem might be. He then put a drain snake down the main line clean out. Within minutes everything was running smoothly. We are very happy.

I called and they sent someone right away. The technician was Jeff #496 , he did an great job, a perfectionist, something you want in a plumber ,down to cleaning up before he left. He explained everything and gave a quote before he did the job and charged me exactly that, not higher like most do. Very happy and as a first time customer with Ernie's we will use him again, we are now customers for life and will ask for Jeff everytime.

Jeff 496 was thorough in his free estimate. Got under the house in order to see exactly what had to be done. When he came back to do the work, completed work as described. Although plumbing always seems expensive to the uninitiated, it seemed reasonable compared to other estimates given. Since he had to turn off gas, he made sure all gas appliances were in working order before he left. He was professional and explained a lot of what he was doing as well as gave me some advice on other gas related issues or potential inspection issues. I felt like he was honest.

We have used his services before. It turned out great! Terry is very courteous and punctual. He left everything very clean just as it was when he came in and you can't even tell he was here. He brought attention to things that needed to be replaced that I would have never thought about. He went over how to use everything and did a great job.

It was good to use a company that was not a big business because they were more courteous and they really tried to help me not sale me things I didn't need. They were very informative with information on how to care for my plumbing problems moving forward.

They were really good. They weren't expensive. They were nice and very honest and told us it would be cheaper for us to buy the lid online.

The experience was very good. The repairman explained in detail what he planned to do to make the repair and did it promptly. I would Ernie's Plumbing Services again.

Donald showed up right on schedule. I showed him the problem and he ran his cable 75 feet through the drain from the roof vent. We tested the drain by filling the washer and letting it drain. I have since done some laundry and the drain is working fine. I no longer have to babysit the washing machine. I'd like to add that I enjoyed meeting Donald. He was a great guy who answered all my questions and we had a few laughs. I like meeting people with a sense of humor. I have had people come in the past to do jobs and immediately start complaining how hard the job will be. I always tell them if it's too hard I can get someone else. That always stops their complaining. Donald showed up with a smile and got the problem solved, no problems. I also got a follow up call from the office checking to make sure the problem was fixed and I was a happy customer. I will use Ernie's Plumbing Service again.

Very quick & professional. I received call from GM after originally expressing concern over pricing. He stated that I was significantly overcharged and is refunding some of the money. I would add integrity to their attributes!

They did exactly what they said and were fast and effective. A+

I made this review back on 8/8/13 "I am in the middle of bathroom remodel and have used Ernie's for several unrelated plumbing needs in the past and have been happy with the service even though the pricing is a little higher than other places. I expected that the cost would be mid $200's for the service since everything was exposed and I wasn't asking for anything unique. However the estimate was for almost $600. I said no to that estimate. My estimate is that a journeyman plumber could do the whole job in less than 30 minutes while sitting on a 5 gal bucket. Even with a generous allocation of $100 for parts (I'm supplying the valve) that'd still come out to $1000 an hour. Leads me to think that Terry (plumber that showed up) was ready to call it quits for the day @4pm. Of the 4 different plumbers that Ernie's has sent out in the last year, he was the least professional. Ernie's has treated me well in the past and that is why I have used them multiple times. However this experience makes me want to find another plumber. You will pay more with Ernie's for sure. Everyone prior to Terry deserves an A for professionalism. " Well, Ernie's was very proactive in trying to fix the above situation and I do want to acknowledge that and say that is why I gave them another chance. In an unrelated plumbing issue, they came out at no charge b/c they had already been out for it and determined that the problem was actually a City of Fort Worth issue and I was able to get it fixed by the city with their help. I am writing this update today because I am in the same situation that I was back in August with my second bathroom and I have again received an outrageous estimate for their services. $603.92 to perform a shower valve remove/install that is down to the studs and the plumbing. This time the tech was one that has done work on my plumbing before and I am always happy with his professionalism. Unfortunately it appears Ernie's fixed pricing is going to cost them my business. FYI I was able to get the valve installed in August for less than $250 by another reputable company on Angie's list. So if you are looking for something that is pretty simple to be done at a reasonable price. You may not want to use Ernie's since they price everything as if it is complicated and a major issue.

Would use again, very efficient scheduling. Had them install a complicated whole home water filter.

I changed old Gerber toilet shut-off valve, installed a Korky guts internally since old one was leaking, then turned water to hosue back on and checked for leaks, and noticed a slight leak from the bolt where toilet tank attaches. Toilet is 17 years old. So I took off the tank to change the washers on the two tank bolts. While at it, noticed the tank-to-toilet gasket was old and somewhat rotten looking so knew it was good time to replace that too - but couldn't find an exact match but found one that was close. Put the tank on and hooked it all up and flushed it and toilet leaked through that tank gasket. Tried re-setting tank onto toilet several times to be sure I had it sitting right, but it still leaked. Called Ernies for help - guy came and told me yeah, I needed the Gerber gasket and he said they are rare since toilet is old - he said he could get it but it would take 1.5 hours and he would have to charge for that drive time, and that would run as much as buying a new toilet! So I said I can get the part and install it - he told me where to get it and I thanked him. Best part: Went to write the check to pay him and he said "No charge - this is the free service call: I called the place he told me and yes, they have that rare Gerber gasket! Ernie's is great!

Got numerous phone calls from the office about what I needed done and changing the time of arrival but service man was great - checked the gas line to the grill - said nothing wrong and suggested that I get the grill checked by the company that I purchased it from - I returned the grill - purchased another grill and am completely happy.

I was treated professionally and they did not seem to mind my asking questions or for explanations.

The service was exceptional. Our service technician was Fred and he was very knowledgeable and professional. On the refrigerator, he observed that the plastic fill line for the water/ice maker had enlarged and was at risk for rupture, making a huge mess. He replaced it with some type of flexible stainless steel line and added y-valves and cut-offs where needed. Great job, well done! The bathroom shower needed a new shower head and it was also well-done, The laundry room and bathroom were both left in excellent condition. He wore shoe covers to prevent any tracking in the house.

Service was friendly, helpful and punctual. Gave a follow-up visit at no charge.

The plumbing went out 7/31/13. In a panic I needed a plumber and thought...Angie's List!! I signed up for a year and imediately went to searching plumbing companies. I found Ernie's Plumbing service and read the review thinking....goldmine! I have found the help I need. I callled Ernie's Plumbing. They sent out the next available technician, fixed y plumbing problem...and the price was VERY REASONABLE!! Thank you Ernie's Plumbing for being am amazing part of our culture! We need more businesses like you! And thank you Angie's List...for providing me access to such a reliable company! I couldn't be more pleased!!

The first time we used them they came out for, we had some kind of a water leak and we couldn't find it anywhere, we ha no idea were to find it at. The first time we had one guy come out and we thought that it was out side and he went around looking and checking and I am thinking what is this going to cost me because he couldn't find a leak at anytime and they didn't charge us anything. And he does, I figured he took the time to come out here to look for the leak and he searched high and low for it and he didn't find anything. And he was like well I can't charge you for not doing anything and I am like okay, sure. They did come out again a next time because we descovered that it was on the inside and not the outside and so we called them back and they fixed it. It was one of our toilet was running. You know how they tend to do after you flush them they just continue to run. The flap doesn't, close all of the way. I am not even sure, I don't, do plumbing. They fixed that for us in no time and they were right on time and everything, I was amazed. These guys are good. It cost about $200 for them to come out. It wasn't bad. I was expecting much worst. In the toilets they had to, you know that part where the water sits, the tank part he had to put some form of a rubber seal is what it was, it turned out to be to make it stop running. Everything turned out very well. My water bill went down from where it was before that was the whole incentive, it was a good thing. That is what freaked us out in the first place when we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Nobody could figure it out and then finally the problem just kept getting worst and then finally we were able to figure out where it was coming from. They were very good. Their price, it was very economical, it was good. Quality, it was right up there with it because he went around and he looked at all of the other toilets and we had to, to find d out if there were any problems with it and very thorough.

Just as I thought, their estimate was outrageous. I ended up going to Home Depot and the ball- c*** assembly cost $7.45. It was actually very easy to replace and took me, with absolutely no plumbing knowledge, about 15-20 minutes to replace. A plumber could have replaced it in about 10 minutes. I do not mind paying a professional for their time and expertise, but in this case, I think their estimate was outrageous (it comes to over $600 hr for their labor cost). I will not be using Ernie/s in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

Showed up quickly. Located the problem and fixed it fast. Cleaned up afterwards. Awesome service. Prompt, Professional and reasonable. The tech Tommy Johnson was awesome.

The line was to code, per a city plumbing inspector, no need for new line. Cost less than 300.00 to fix the leak.

The plumber came to check out my leak, but never followed up or completed the work. They said they would get back to me before the end of the week. That was three months ago, and I have yet to hear from them.

They were good. They were timely and they cleaned up after they were done. Everything is working fine now.

I'm the sole caregiver for my 86 year old invalid mom and hadn't been off duty for nearly two months. I'd arranged to take the weekend off and planned to get away at 10:00 am Friday morning. I discovered wet carpet beside the A/C unit at 9:30 on Thursday night. A fast response from A/C repair man (Kisor Mechanical on Angie's List) on Friday morning discovered the plumbing line was the problem not the A/C. He suggested Ernie's Plumbing so I called them shortly after 8:00 on Friday. The plumber was here by 9:00 am and snaked the drain line to clear the blockage. A ball of steel wool had somehow gotten in the line! He then reconnected all the PVC drain lines at the A/C unit. He was finished before 10:00 so I was able to get away on my respite without delay! Ticen was the plumber and he was very professional and friendly.
