I had an appointment for Ernie's Plumbing for a first appointment (between 8 and 9AM) on June 3rd in order to allow going to work as soon as the repairs were completed. They said they would call 30 to 45 minutes before arriving in order to confirm. I had not heard anything by 9 o'clock so I called and they were not able to find my appointment. I told them I could not wait any longer and to cancel the repairs as I would find someone else. Around noon I received a voice mail saying they had been running late but could have someone there within an hour. I called the number back and told them I had cancelled. Then I received voice mails about hourly the rest of the day saying they could have someone their in about an hour. Obviously there appointment system leaves something to be desired as they could not find my appt. and then after I cancelled it they kept calling all day.

Nobody likes calling the plumber, but with service and friendliness like this, it makes the process much easier. Fred showed up well on time with a smile and was very easy going. Didn't make me feel like an idiot for asking basic questions. Performed the service quickly and gave us some good insights for other possible issues. These guys are great, Fred's a gem, and we'll be using him in the future. He even let my son pull his mustache. :)

Super prompt, courteous service. The price was a little higher than other quotes, but I would use them again.

Plumber was able to make a same day service call. Plumber was professional and made recommendations on how to avoid future problems. Phone staff was helpful and followed up to make sure the experience was as expected.

Shut off all in house, pressurized system to find leak. Had a rather unusual hookup, went to Home Depot for parts. By this time it was dark and he worked on it with the use of a portable light system til it was done and checked

Fred was the bomb! He was very professional and helped us to track the issue down. The problem ended up being a clogged AC drain for which the overflow drain went to the inside of my wall! He showed me how I could easily fix this issue to keep it from ever happening again. His attention to detail saved us a ton of headaches later down the road. Ernie's has a new friend in this household and Fred is my new BFF.

It did not go well. I called saying that I believed my main sewer line was clogged and she took all my information and then offered me an appointment the next day between 9 and 1 pm. I informed her that I was not able to take off work and that on Angie's list it says that they offer 24 hour emergency service. I was not offered an appointment to meet my needs. She said we could do it on a weekend, but with today being Tuesday this clearly would not meet my needs. Needless to say, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

The service man, Donald, said any work on the faucet would be $130 plus parts. I did not ask the Company what they would charge since one of the recent reviews said the charge to replace an outside faucet was $75. He replaced the faucet attachment in about 15 min. because I already had the valve. I told him I got the price off Angie's list and showed him the place but he still wanted $130. I see now that they have a coupon on the site for $25 which he should have told me about.

It went very well and I would call them again in the future should I have another plumbing issue.

perfectly. the plumber who came out did a great job of explaining what he was going to do and, if his attempt at the repair failed, what the next step would be. glad to see that getting everything on the table at the start helps cut down on any possible bad blood later. he was able to pull off the miracle fix saving me a couple thousand dollars and a wall patch job.

The plumber was on time and very courteous and professional. He replaced the bolts on one side of the toilet and put in a new o-ring. For the sink, he took off the pipe under the sink and cleaned it out. A very positive experience. Greg was personable and professional. He stated how he would address the problem, resolved the problem within 20 minutes and advised ways to prevent it happening again. The company maintenance product was mentioned but no pressure was applied to participate.

Thomas was my Plumber and he was very courteous, professional and explained everything to me. He wrote up his estimate and did the job for what the estimate was even though after the job was started a few minor extras appeared. He did an excellent job, Cleaned up after himself. I am very happy with his work and would recommend him and defiantly use this company again.

We called on a Monday morning. Our service man, Thomas Johnson, showed up within the time frame promised (approximately 1 1/2 hour after our call). He was very courteous, explained in detail what was involved in the 3 projects, quoted us the cost for each, and about how long it would take him to do the work. He was very efficient and experienced. Everything worked perfectly before he departed. We are pleased to have finally found a plumber that knows his stuff! This companies telephone and Thomas's name is now posted in all our locations for service needs. A great experience!

Thomas Johnson, employee number 502 did an outstanding job! Very kind, professional, explained things, gave accurate quote and cleaned up after. I will definitely refer him again. I got him from Angies List referral...they had good reviews and did great for me as well!

We were without water in the back yard due to a leak. I called Ernie's Plumbing Service after reading all the good reviews on Angie's List! Mike came within the time they had given and tried several options before discovering a way to fix the issue without costing a lot of money. He also was helpful in explaining everything he was going to do before he actually did the work. I will certainly call them again for service. How nice to find a plumber we can trust! They also have 24 hour emergency service.

My outside faucet would move back and forth when you turned on and off the water to the hose that was connected to it. I was concerned that by putting any pressure to tighten it to stop leaking would make the pipe snap which we had happened several years ago and ended up with a leak between the brick wall and the bedroom wall which it was against. Ernie's Plumbing had repaired that by making a nice big hole in the bedroom wall because that was the only way to get to it and so I was concerned that that would happen again. Well the guy that came out assured me there was no leak and that it moved around like that because when the orig work was done the pipe wasn't probably connected properly. Anyways he replaced the bib (faucet) at the price of orig $249.72 minus a 10 % discount for being a repeat customer for 15minutes of work and a $15 part.

My hot water heater went out and after trying unsuccessfully for nearly an hour to re-light it, I looked at Angie's List for a plumber and ended up calling Ernie's Plumbing. Archie came out, on schedule, and had me up and running in short order. He said that, as he didn't have to do any repair work, there was no charge. Ernie's will definitely get any plumbing work I need in the future. Prompt, professional, courteous and did I mention affordable?

Exemplarary service. Prompt, efficient interface. Company follow-up front-end and after the job. Fred (licensed plumber) - possesses high-end technical proficiency. He explained job fully and executed promptly. Overall great service experience. Will use Ernie's again.

Neal Williams came to my home today to inspect and provide an estimate for a leak on my hose bib. He was punctual, professional, kind and honest. He explained how the water flows through it, and to my pleasant surprise, showed me that there is no problem at all. He informed me that I haven't actually been turning the water off the right way! He replaced a washer on the end of my hose and everything was good to go. He didn't charge me a thing! I had another company provide an estimate yesterday, and they quoted $260 to fix the hose bib and $315 to replace it, when there was really nothing wrong with it. Thank you to Neal and Ernie's Plumbing for your honesty! The next time I need a plumber I will definitely be calling Ernie's!

The Plumber was honest about estimating the work. We asked for estimates for replacing / a kitchen sink disposal, general checkup of the plumbing lines and particularly a noisy toilet in the upstairs bedroom. The estimates provided were very high. Just to replace the toilet head where the water comes out and fills the tank and the valve in the tank the cost was about $175.00. It was about 20 minutes of work. Similarly, the estimate for installing a sink disposal was about $175.00 ( I was going to provide the part and I was using the same brand as is already present) I understand that they don't charge a trip charge, but when work is done on the same visit (which saves them another trip) a discount needs to be applied.

The plumber who came to estimate the work was on time, courteous and very professional but also very nice. After he estimated the work and got my permission to go forward, he started the work. He had to cut a hole in the garage drywall to fix the dripping faucet. After he was done with this, he cleaned up the area and left the drywall. I was able to use the 2 pieces he left to have the drywall repaired. The faucets work great and he explained some of the newer features. I would recommend this company very highly.

We called up three days ago and got an appointment time for today between 9-1. Plumber arrived around 3 and gave us a quote for the work: 130/- for access, 250/- for repairing 1/2" pipe, 400/- for repairing 3/4" pipe, 490/- for repairing 1" pipe. We had identified a very small water seepage on the outside of the garage wall between the brick and foundation. Two sections of sheet rock were cut to locate the leak. The pvc pipe feeding to the outdoor garden hose outlet was cracked slightly causing the drip. A small section (<1ft) of the faulty pipe was removed and replaced. The cutout section is still open for us to get patched. Using a fan or dryer to remove the wetness was recommended. Final charge 379/- less 25/- using coupon printed off their website. Would we use them in the future ? Most likely not. Why - because of the uncourteous and unkind treatment during the service which we felt was unprofessional. Our two toddlers were at home down with a cold and were cranky. My wife who is six months pregnant was having her hands full with both kids demanding her attention. This caused a bit of delay in payment but in no way prevented or distracted the work in the garage. The plumber (Ernest) made some snide remarks on the situation which hurt my wife's feelings and were really uncalled for. Perhaps he was impatient but commenting on our choice to have another kid is none of his or anybody's business. When my wife asked him if there were less invasive ways of finding the leak (since it was already visible outside) - reply was "I don't have x-ray vision". Hence the F on professionalism.
