Everything about working with this company was amazing. From the moment my phone call was answered and the appointment for a quote was scheduled we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The plumber who arrived to help us, Terry, was super friendly and seemed just like a friend we'd known forever. He was very open and honest with us when it came to our options, he told us how we could do certain projects ourselves, but we opted for him to take care of everything for us. Terry was available the following Saturday and stayed for about five hours until all the projects were completed. We decided at the last minuted to have him fix our toilets and our water line to our fridge, but he was more than ready to stay the extra time and get the job done right. Terry even discovered a minor water leak that we had in our sprinkler line in the front yard after we described some noises we kept hearing coming from the front of house. Working with Terry was a pleasure and we now feel like we have a personal plumber to call anytime we need something repaired or added to our home. We'll definitely call on Terry at Ernie's Plumbing again!

Asked Ernie's Plumbing quote on some remodel plumbing - moving drains and pipes. Ernie's doesn't do this type of work but they quickly replied back and let us know and didn't leave us hanging waiting for a response.

The "FREE" estimate turned into a $130 service call for the first 30 min without explanation to my wife. He estimated 3 hours to do the job with a $650 estimate, which I thought was high but with a river running thru my front yard and no water to my house I had little choice. He completed the work in 2 hours and then said he did me a favor by discounting 10% to only $580. Yes they were prompt and responded to the urgent need, but $290/hr for plumbing work is absurd.

Went well. Very professional. Found a solution with existing parts thereby saving the cost of replacement.

Archie did an excellent job replacing the pipe, and even pointed out a flaw in the replacement faucet and made an adjustment to it to ensure no leaking issues in the future as a result of the flaw. He arrived on time, and performed the work with minimal interruption to the household. I will definitely use this company again for future plumbing issues.

After having another plumber come out and not make the proper repair we called these guys. Joey was awesome and answered all of our question. Great, fast and quality service at a reasonable price.

Scheduled porrly communicated di not show on the same day appointment 11:00 to 3:00 PM (my husband have to leave work to wait for them) when we called them back to ask they can't find my schedule time for that day but offered to send soomeon. Rescheduled for next day, come on the sceduled time frame. I printed the $25.00 cupon for the provider form Angies list, he told me he already gave me $30.00 discount and still charged me $300.00! I think that was a joke!.Appeared the work is done well so far. Question if I will use this plumer service again.

Pete (Employee #: 432) showed up on time last week on Friday, to provide the free estimate. He made a drawing of the proposed work, a parts list, and provided me with an estimate of $500. We scheduled the work for the following Tuesday, to allow time to order any parts, and since the water heater was working and the hot water recirculating loop was valved off, there was no rush. He didn't try to up-sale me or BS me to increase the Job scope. He did make recommendations, but offered options and let me choose. Very professional. Pete showed up on time, on Tuesday. He had all tools and parts. He was careful with draining the water so as not to damage my house. He worked carefully and methodically. He was here 4 hours, and built and installed the new manifold, replaced the cheap galvanized fittings and had to drain and re-fill the 50 gallon water heater in the process. The manifold had over 15 joints between all the parts and the pump, and only one was found to have a small (micro) leak upon turning on the water. Peter found that leak in his inspection and promptly fixed it. Pete then re-tested the manifold and found no leaks. Also he tested the recirculating pump and new check valve setup, to verify the system was working properly. Additionally, Pete verified and set my water pressure with the house-side regulator, it was a little low. He also checked the pressure device on top of the water heater, and found that it was not pressured up properly by the builders plumber. It was set to 35 PSI instead of 60. Pete corrected that as well. So: Parts, labor, and the extras (that he didn't have to do) was $500 as agreed. It was not cheap, but the job is done, and done correctly, the first time. I think it was a fair price for the quality of work I received. I am very satisfied, and will have these guys out for any future upgrades, or issues with the work that was done by the builders plumber.

They did the job we wanted and fixed the problem. They were very responsive and quick. They came out to give an esitmate at no charge, which is why we chose them. We have no complaints. We would recommend them to anyone.

Showed up at scheduled time (even got a call from the company telling me he was on the way). Repaired the leaking pipe without problem. He explained the issues, repair and guaranty on work. Super nice and seemed to really know what he was doing. Will definitely call them again (hopefully I won't have to, though!! :) )

We were so thankful to have Pete come out and fix the issue ASAP. He was very professional and now we have a plumbing service to call for any future needs. The price was as estimated and we received a $25 discount for being an Angie's List member. Sorry it took us a few months to submit this review.

The plumber called to let me know he was on his way and arrived as scheduled. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. He quickly replaced the disposal, then explained that my leaking toilet needed to be replaced. His explanation was sound and very detailed. After inspecting my 2nd one, I asked him to replace it, too There was a slight delay since the place he normally purchases from only had 1 in stock and he had to travel farther than expected. The installations went quickly and he was very conscientious about cleaning up afterward.

Called Saturday afternoon. Gentleman was at my home less than an hour later. Leak is at PVC to metal junction of water main and sprinkler system. Quoted $685 flat fee to for in ground leak fix. Need to have electric, gas, etc lines marked before any repair can be done. Was thinking about doing some sprinkler changes elsewhere in yard, so going to call a sprinkler company and compare quotes.

Shane used a camera through the roof vent to detect a blockage within the system. He was able to give me best and worse case scenarios. Because of the rain, we postponed the work until today. With a jet clean out system, he was able to clear the blockage. He ran the camera down again to recheck for blockage. I ran the washing machine through a drain cycle to double check if the blockage had indeed been cleared. I asked Shane what steps I should take to help prevent future problems. We discussed ways to keep the drains clear.

Randy, the owner, is very professional and customer oriented. The reason for not having straight A's on the review is the observed experience with Employee #410. His estimates were so over the top upon the initial visit for an auger application with a very forced recommendation of pulling and resetting the entire toilet that we had to call and confirm with ownership. The price was reset to the correct amount, which is why we decided to call them again. It seemed odd to me, but today's work began with signing for the job before the work was started and completed, as well as, initialing a possibility of replacing a flange (expensive). The job took twenty minutes and surprise, surprise the flange "needed" to be replaced. The red flag is that the toilet in question was one of a new set put in under 6 months ago. What set me back about this particular plumber was that he reminded me of my days as a salesman, and the guys that would quote ABS seminars (Always Be Selling). I just spent almost $300 for a very simple procedure... don't tell me I need $414 of additional, unnecessary work. Ernie's Plumbing Service, Inc. is owned by a man whose hand you'll shake twice. Unfortunately, we will not use them again because of employees such as #410, which are the extension of their service reputation.

I found this plumbing service thru Angie's list and called due to the top rating and free estimate. I have a shower that is leaking through the bottom wall and it is one huge (5 ft long) fiberglass unit. I figured it was going to be a pretty penny to fix but wanted an estimate before I got in too deep. First off, Terry was the name of the plumber. He was on time, very nice and was honest about what he was doing and what was needed. He even put covers on his shoes as soon as he walked in the door, even though I wouldn't have cared if he hadn't. He stated the problem was a drain, but checked out the fixtures and thru the wall just to make sure, at no cost. He stated he could run a test to confirm for an additional fee and I declined as either way, there is only one way to fix the issue, and that is demo and starting over. Not in my budget at the moment, but he gave me ideas for a temporary fix and appreciated all the honesty. I consider myself very handy as I have done a lot of repairs and updates to my home myself, so he gave me directions, showed me how and gave me tips on things I could fix and repair myself. There where several times I think he could have told me something extra was needed as I have no clue about shower plumbing, but he did not and I appreciate that very much. I was really concerned about which company or who to call as I have never needed a plumber before and know some companies can take advantage of customer, but noticed the service provider responds to all their feedback, good and bad, so it seemed to me they cared about the quality of service and explaining any discrepancies. Although it was just an estimate, I am extremely happy. So in summary: friendly, on time, honest, helpful and a truly free estimate or they would tell you before extra service is performed. I will definitely call or recommend them if I need a plumber in the future.

There was one person that came out. It took him about four hours to complete the job. That was only because he needed a speciality part and had to leave to go and pick it up. He could have just fixed the problem and not alerted me to the bigger problem that needed to be fixed. He charged me the same rate although it took him longer to make the repair. He didn't charge me extra for the time he spent going for the part that was needed.

Great service. Came out within an hour and half of calling on a late Saturday afternoon and doesn't charge extra for weekends. The plumber (Neal) was very quick - fixed it in less that 30 minutes.

Great service! The plumber fixed our bath fixtures as if it was his own house.

They are good. They weren't the cheapest but they were good.

Ernie's Plumbing was fine. They explained what they were doing and why they were doing it very well. He gave me a couple of choices after their explanation on each of them along with the price of each of them and then I chose the one that I wanted and that's what they did. They came prepared and did the job. They didn't have to come back later with the part or whatever, they had everything with them. They were pretty much what everybody else charged and they did a good job.

When I called, Ernie's promptly scheduled an appt for an estimate the next morning from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. but said it'd be more likely that the tech would be there at 10 a.m. due to where he was driving from. They called me at 7:30 a.m. the morning of the appointment to let me know that the tech could not come out for the time scheduled because he was not aware that he needed a camera to scope the line and that he'd be out between 12 noon to 4 p.m., but that it'd be closer to noon that he'd be out. I called them at 3:30 p.m. to let them know that the tech did not show up at noon nor have I heard from him. They said they'd call him and call me back within 10 minutes. They called me back within 10 minutes and said the tech was tied up and could not make the appointment and asked me if they could schedule an appointment for the next day but I told them it did not work with my schedule. I proceeded to let her know how frustrated I was that I had to sit around all day waiting for them. I cannot tolerate a company wasting my day by having me wait around ALL day for them to show up just to inform me 10 minutes before 4 p.m. that they are not going to be able to make the appointment. So very disappointing! Wish there was a way I could bill them for my time that they wasted! There are MANY great plumbers I can call here on Angie's list...glad I became a member so I can search around!

They are good. For the most part, the price was reasonable. They are just down to earth and they seem to be honest. Their work is good.

Archie (Tech 402) was professional, efficient, and his repair job was top-notch. He was also very courteous fielding my questions. Ernie's Plumbing provides honest service with a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Ernies' associate Damien--agent number 315--was very professional and knowledgeable, friendly and easy to converse with, did a thorough repair job, and cleaned up completely upon his departure. Great job, Damien! Thanks!
