All plumbers were pleasant and cordial. Like the fact that booties are used when entering house. Great, courteous phone support.

The one time they came, they took care of it immediately and they were very good. They did what they were supposed to. They were pretty quick about coming out.

She kept referring to the description of the work as a hotel. Had to continually correct her, and tell her that the work needed was on the ground floor, retail level involving 2 separate businesses; a bail bond office and a café, that are experiencing low water pressure in the bathrooms. She said that they would not be able to service my property. She spoke to the General Manager, who also denied service stating that their " INSURANCE" would not cover them working on my property. Huh? I asked if they worked on commercial properties, to which she replied "YES". That statement just does not make sense. I asked to speak to someone so that I may better explain the scope of work. After placing me on hold, she came back and said that she would not be able to connect me with anyone. Tried to further clarify the work to her (I have to admit, that I did lose my patience at this point, raising my voice).She hung up on me.Ernie, I read the reviews posted on your company on Angie's List and was extremely impressed. I have been doing business on this property since 1970 and NEVER have I been refused plumbing services, or any other service for that matter. Wish we could have done business with you, but unfortunately, could not get through the mentality of the person answering your phone. Guess you don't need my business..

Had someone come out to give an estimate for 3 or 4 items I needed done. Estimate was right in line with where I thought it should be. He was able to get everything done in a few hours. Would gladly have him back anytime we need plumbing work.

The plumber indicated it would be $700 to add the gas spicket through a common wall with the water heater. It was then going to cost another $1800 in labor to install the tankless water heater. To top things off, when he left the gas to the water heater had been turned off and I am having to get another plumber to come out to fix since now (after turning the gas back on) I have not been able to get the pilot light to ignite.

Great experience! Arrived promptly on time, gave us a detailed estimate and explained every charge. When the plumber couldn't get the water turned off at the street, he waited for the city to come out, and cheerfully rescheduled when the water meter repair had to be delayed. Work done exceeded expectations. Very pleased, will definitely use them again, if the need arises.

I called this morning and they had someone here this afternoon. Jeff was very professional and explained everything in detail. The price was fair and he fixed everything quickly. I would highly recommend Ernie's to anyone with plumbing needs.

I called Ernie's Plumbing Service early on a Monday morning. The lady I spoke with was very polite and set up a time for someone to come out that same day. Josh arrived right on time. He was very professional and it only took him a minute or two to assess the situation and give me my options and an estimate. Since I am a novice and know near to nothing about plumbing fixtures Josh offered to meet me at the nearest Home Depot and assist me in picking out the correct faucet fixture. I believe he even worked through his lunch hour to do this. After purchasing the fixture it didn't take him long to install it in our bathroom. He did a wonderful professional job and the faucet is beautiful! I am planning to eventually replace my two upstairs bathroom faucets and I will definitely will be calling Ernie's to do the job. Great customer service!

They were very prompt and were able to come out the same day I called them. The price was a little expensive, but they were able to fix the problem I had and were very professional.They guarantee their work.

I called Ernie's Plumbing back in March when I had a major water leak underneath my house. I spoke to the call center to see if someone could come and fix the water leak. I was very disappointed because I did search of within 25 miles of my address and Ernie's Plumbing came up and I checked service areas. It states Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Houston. I am considered Fort Worth area. I live between Burleson and Alvarado, Texas. I gave the lady my address and she stated to me "We do service my area". I had to go through three plumbers before I found someone to come out. Now, what upsets me is the incompetence of call centers. Just recently within the last three months, I saw an Ernie's Plumbing truck at my neighbor's house on the corner and then I saw a another Ernie's Plumbing truck coming from a job off FM 917. I was thoroughly upset because of the inconvenience it cost me. Maybe your call center people may need additional training in making sure they give out the right information. I did speak to someone else who is familiar with your company and he couldn't understand why Ernie's Plumbing wouldn't service my area. I know I cannot depend on your company when an Emergency rises.

Used this company before and will use them again. Chas came out and listened as I walked him thru the house pointing out issues. He checked several areas I did not even specify because he was being that thorough. He very professional and took the time to explain EVERYTHING I asked about. I could not authorize work today but once I am able to get the cash together I will use Ernie's. They were on time, courteous and knowledgeable. Diagnosis is slab leak. I put N/A on quality because no work was performed this time. Previous work on a drain was an A, other than price everything else was based off my dealing with the tech.

It was done in a very professional job and we were really impressed with the results. After Michael finished the job, cold water ran like a champ. The only problem we had was after the water was turned back on we were not able to get any Hot Water. We checked all the normal things that might cause no hot water, but this did not help. Waited over night just to see if the hot water needed to build back up. After a full 12 hours and still no hot water, I called Ernie's Plumbing service and let them know that we had no Hot Water. Within 2 hours the same technician returned and found that the Element had burned out. He took full responsibility and replaced the element and got the hot water restored at no charge to us. I was very impressed with the service and the professionalism that was used in these 2 jobs. I would highly recommend Ernie's Plumbing Service to anyone needing plumbing work done and will call them any time we need plumbing service.

I requested the provider check for leaks in my house plumbing. Provider called and said he would arrive around 11:30am, but didn't show up until 1:45pm. They advertised free estimates, but when they arrived they said it would cost $500 to check for leaks. If they found a leak it would cost $200 per hour to repair it. $500 to check for leaks is not what I consider a free estimate. I told him no thanks.

We have a leak in our laundry room and we have had to turn off our main water at the street. Service did show up within 2 hours of when I called yesterday morning. I do appreciate the flexibility shown in making an appointment so quickly. We are in dire straits right now. I explained the situation to the service man and I wanted him to turn on the water main so we could investigate the leak. Serviceman refused stating a liability issue without us having an estimate agreed upon. I just wanted to know what could be done for the leak. (Was it inside the wall? Was it from the foundation? etc.) The serviceman left my house to write me up an estimate. He actually wrote an estimate on paper saying that it would cost me $130.00 for the first half hour and then $50.00 after that for every 15 minutes needed to detect leak. I am sorry, there aren't too many individuals in life that make $200.00 per hour let alone $280.00 per an hour for the first hour. I can only imagine what the final cost would be if the service had detected the leak and then went on to fix the problem. POOR POOR customer service. Service person didn't seem at all interested in helping out our family in a dire circumstance. I cannot imagine a company with that kind of customer service can be successful. I felt mistreated, insulted and unsatisfied with the whole service experience.

It was very good. I was very pleased with them. Their pricing seemed to be reasonable. They offered some discounts for returning customers. The work was good and they were prompt. It was kind of an emergency when I got them.

Terry was the tech who arrived promptly. I showed him the problem with the toilet and he went to work. At one point the toilet tank fluid stop was spewing water in the air and I held my hand over it while he turned water off at the main outside. Terry replaced the fluid stop and made sure the toilet was working right before leaving. He was courteous, professional, easy to talk to and I got $25 off by mentioning the code on Angie's List. The work has a one year warranty which is great. I would use this company again and ask for Terry. Also got a magnet good for 10% off for subsequent work which can be used multiple times with no expiration.

Very thorough in checking for all possible causes of the leak. Gave detailed explanations of the causes of problem and repairs. Thorough in repair and clean up. Pleasant and careful plumber. I feel the repair was a little expensive, but have not gotten other estimates.

Appointment was setup for the same day, even though this was not an emergency. Technician Jose arrived before the beginning of the scheduled timed slot. He explained the different costs, depending on what he found. Finished the work promptly, including new sealant around the bottom of the toilet, for a professional appearance. Jose was very personable and polite.

We called 3 plumbing companies that were all highly rated on Angie's List and charged no fees for estimates. We had a small amount of flooding in our front yard due to a leaky/broken pipe near the water meter. Plumbing company #1: Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. They came out and took a look at the problem. We were told there was no way to know what the exact problem was and they were going to have to trouble shoot and possible do quite a bit of digging. Their estimate was $1509 with cautions that it could be higher if there were more problems than expected. Plumbing company #2: Mike Masters Service Company. They came out and began to use a ShopVac to clear the water from the water meter area to determine the problem. After about 10-15 minutes they decided the leak was under the sidewalk and therefore would not be able to help us until the next day. They quoted us $1000-$1400. Plumbing company #3: Ernie's Plumbing Service. Fred came out, turned on the water and within a few seconds put a stick in the grass and said "the leak is right there". I was surprised he seemed so sure since I had just heard two other companies tell me they either didn't know or that it was under the sidewalk. Fred said, "I have been doing this for 30 years, I guarantee you it is within a couple inches of that spot". Fred proceeded to write up an estimate of $545 (including our Angie's List discount) plus $30 materials. He told me it was a flat fee and would not cost us a dime more even if it took them 2 days to do the job. With that assurance, I signed the estimate. Fred found the leak (and it was right where he said it was and NOT under the sidewalk) and he fixed the leak within about 45 minutes including the time it took him to go to the store to get parts. He was careful to cut the grass where he dug and put the grass right back over the area after he filled the hole back in. I was highly impressed that Fred was able to quickly diagnose and fix our problem. I told Fred about the other company telling us the problem was under the sidewalk. He laughed and told us even if the problem had been under the sidewalk it wouldn't have cost us a dime more because he would have just 1) dug two holes on either side, 2) cut the pipe on both sides, 3) slid the pipe out, 4) put a new pipe through the hole, and 5) use new connectors to connect the new pipe to the existing pipes. A solution that required no digging under the sidewalk at all. I was amazed....yes, work smarter, not harder! I would recommend skipping the other guys can call Ernie's....ask for Fred!

they were prompt that is why I used them. They were only 20 minutes late which is OK. For snaking of the sewage line they were charging 175 which was to much but since my tenant was upset i agreed. usual cost is only 120. They did gave me a 25 dollar Angie list discount. The guy tried two times and then said the line is completely collapsed so he cannot open it. guaranteed me no one else can either. charged me another 100 to identify where the block was. He was wrong on the block. Another plumber opened it for 80.

I couldn't be happier with the way it went. Terry worked very neatly, making sure all his mess was cleaned up before he left. My husband enjoyed watching him as he worked. We will definitely use them again for plumbing needs. Terry left us some samples of a product that will help keep the pipes cleaner and explained a maintenance option that they offer.

Brian was fantastic so much so that if I need future work I will ask specifically for him. Good stuff.
