Description of Work: As a society, we tend to focus on the negative aspects in life and are eager to write a review if we have been wronged or if the service was horrible. Seldom do we take the time to make a comment in a positive nature. I have nothing negative to say about the service we received from Ernie's Plumbing. I greeted the tech and then left for work. My wife dealt with the rest. She made no comments to me other than he fixed the leak.

Description of Work: I really appreciated the honesty and integrity of the service that I received from Ernie's Plumbing Service. I will definitely be doing business with them in the near future.

Description of Work: Repaired/replaced a part. That part was about $100 more than I expected and the part and work more than I could have gotten it done had I shopped around. However, I've had enough bad, very bad, experiences with contractors in the past that I preferred someone from Angie's List that at least had some support. I do wish that I could remember specific details better, but my memory at this point is more than a little faulty, so this is the best that I could do.

Description of Work: They could have sold us a whole new hot water heater but instead took the time to identify the problem and change valves that corrected the issue. They gave us a few more years of hot water heater life!

Description of Work: They were very responsive to my request of a clogged drain. They are also very expensive by charging $370 just to snake a drain. The guy litteraly only worked for 2 hours. My shower was still clogged when he was done but I was able clear the drain with industrial strenght Drano. I wouldnt use them again because they're so expensive.

Description of Work: Called about water on floor in bathroom, must be my commode is leaking. Could not come out that day, they are booked solid..service man arrived next day. Took up commode, replaced wax ring and a metel piece....that will be $500.00. One year warranty. About 30 minutes later, water on bathroom floor again. Called, could not come out that day booked solid..different service man, at my request ,arrived next day. Must still be leaking because the other service man did not clean out the sewer line. My husbands disagrees, we have flushed lines before. Cleans out sewer line, no charge, because of warranty, but the receipt he give me is marked $420.00. Thank goodness for warrentys. About two hours later I go into the bathroom.....WATER STANDING ON THE FLOOR AGAIN....by now I am ready to cry... it is Friday we have been trying to get this commode fixed for six days...I have a stack of wet towels....call office, ask for different service man...they are booked solid, it will be Tuesday if I want a different service man, of course I want a different man, why do I want the man back who could not fix it when he was here. The weekend was a nighmayer trying to keep the water contained to the bathroom....by now we also have water in the hall rug....by now my husband has decided it is not the commode leaking but a pipe in the wall. Service man arrives, thinks the same thing my husband does....cuts hole in bathroom wall....no it's not that pipe leaking, |Goes into kitchen.....cut a hole under the sink wall...and there it is, an old pipe has rotted out and is leaking through the wall into the bathroom. He said this should have been checked in the first place......so what he is tell us is WE NEVER HAD A LEAK IN THE COMMODE IN THE FIRST PLACE....he replaced the pipe...told my husband he would have to fix the holes in the bathroom and kitchen...they do not do that...he gave us a paper stating what had been done, he did not put a price on his paper, it is still under warranty. My husband fixes the two holes. No more water on the bathroom floor. I am so glad this Plummer knew what he was doing. And this is why I will not use this provider in the future or recommend them to anyone else. |

Description of Work: Technician came to evaluate the leaking faucet, said he had to make some calls and they would get back to me, and I never heard from the company again. The guy was nice enough, but they didn't seem that interested in the business.

Description of Work: The plumber was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. He replaced my disposal and adressed my questions and honored my $25 discount for coupon code as well as $25 discount for senior citizen! I had a great experience and will use them again in the future for any plumbing needs.
