He ended up just finding my problem and charged me nothing. It was really nice. He was great. It was a really good experience with him. He was very professional, very polite, very helpful, and very efficient.

I was overall satisfied with Ernie's Plumbing Service. The plumber was prompt and friendly. His work was perfect. I will be using Ernie's Plumbing Service again.

They were prompt and I thought they had a good handle on what they needed to do. They did it efficiently and it got done. And they were very helpful as far as explaining. I had a problem with the sewer line and he put a camera in so he could see what the problem was. It wasn't cheap but it was very much in line what anyone else would charge and I liked the guy that came out, so I was happy with it.

Within 2 hours of calling I had a plumber at my door and was a able to give me a free estimate for all the work I wanted done. I have a 25 year old duplex and none of the bathroom(s) plumbing had been touched. We discussed at length what I wanted. He arrived promptly at the agreed apon date and time. Received a phone call informing he was on his way. He showed me all the plumbing supplies he had gotten for the job, asking me if I was satisfied with them before he installed them. The job took longer than he anticipated, but I didn't think that was an issue considering the size of the job and he was by himself.

I called at 2:00 and they had a plumber here by 4:00. He explained the possible fixes for the leaking faucet and tried the least expensive one first (replacing a damaged washer) which worked. He showed me how to fix it myself should it happen again and gave me a new washer as an example that he said I could buy at Home Depot. It was an expensive fix for just a washer, but now I'll know how to fix it myself. Plumber was courteous, fast, thorough and honored their coupon on Angie's list ($25 off repair). Would definitely use them again. FYI, I called a couple other recommended plumbers from Angie's list first, but only got voicemail. Called Ernie's and immediately got a live person who scheduled the appointment right then, so they got the job.

I called for an estimate appointment at 11:00am, and Guy arrived within 30 minutes of my call (I had not anticipated a same-day response, but timing worked). He provided an efficient, clear estimate of services with rough-in as well as cost for additional trip to hook up sink once sheetrock is repaired and cabinets are installed (additional $220). We opted for the rough-in only, and he offered to begin work immediately. Guy checked with me throughout the project to ensure baseboards were protected and details met our needs. When job was finished, he vacuumed the work area, reconnected washer and dryer, and left a neat pile of sheetrock that looks as if it may be easily fit back into the wall. We won't have chance to test the connection for a couple months, but I feel confident that the work was done well and the contractor will stand behind the project if concerns arise. Overall, an excellent experience.

The problem has happened again, and now they told me they don't know what it is. I called them back recently, and now I have had no response from them. ***UPDATE*** They came by yesterday and installed a brand new water tank at no charge. That also included a brand new warranty. He also helped me with a few other plumbing items around the house. He was very courteous and very professional. He went above and beyond to remedy the issue. He went up into my attic and nailed up plastic to protect the water tank. This was to prevent the insulation fibers from entering the water tank. They were very consistent and I am 100% satisfied.

They were on time. They did what they were suppose to do. It took them a long time but he was thorough in getting it done.

They charged $100 for the work. They did a good job. There were no problems with them. They were very friendly and kind. They were great with their punctuality. I have used them several times. If I need to, I will use them again in the future.

It was a wonderful experience. I would absolutely hire them again. Our plumber was really friendly and concerned about doing it right. He must have checked to see if there was a gas leak about 100 times. He also did a little job for us for free. He took off a trap for our old sink. It was copper and we didn’t have the tools so he took it off for us. He went above and beyond.

I am very satisfied with all work performed.

I called friday afternoon 1:30 ish to see if it was possible to squeeze me in. They were able to squeeze me in and gave me a window between 3pm-7pm that the plumber would show up. They called prior to his arrival to let me know he was on his way and he showed up within 30 minutes of the call. Adam, the plumber, was very courtious and professional. He assessed what I needed done, told me that he needed to check his van to make sure that he had every thing with him to complete the job and that if he did he would write up an estimate for the work. He came back in with the estimate and went through it with me. Although I authorized the work without concern, after discussing the work with several other friends and family, they all thought the cost was a little high compared to things they've had done in the past. I'm happy with the work and he only took about an hour to complete it and he cleaned up after himself. Nice Job and worth a little extra for this kind of service. When he completed his work, he said he was actually able to do it for a little bit less than the estimate. When I told him that was fabulous and that had other work that he could do in the near future and that I was eventually do a bathroom remodel, he mentioned that they have a program that will give repeat customers a 20% discount on future services. Lets see if they can maintain my satisfaction on the future work.

Ernie's Plumbing did a great job and were professional in every part of the process. I used Angies list to get the names of a few highly rated plumbers in my area. I had each plumber give me a quote on how much it would be to replace our kitchen sink, garbage disposal and all associated plumbing. There were many leaks so I specified that I wanted all new pipes and hoses installed under the sink. Ernies was the first to get back to me and were eager to get me an estimate. They turned out to be the most competitive bid and could be out at my house when I had wanted. On the day of the work they called when they said they would call and showed up when they said they would show up. Gary, the technician was very polite and listened to how I wanted the work done. When he was done the work looked great and he cared enough to clean the area well. The work was done for the amount of the estimate and they had worked in the Angie's List discount without me having to ask. I have now added their name and number into my contact list and would recommend them highly and use them again in the future.

The process went well and I was pleased with Ernie's Plumbing. I bought a duplex in October in North Oak Cliff and the previous owner did not disclose that there was multiple leaks in the two gas lines. I contacted several plumbing companies and they either did not show up or quoted me a price that was about double what Ernie's quoted me. Ernie's sent out a plumber and did a pressure test on my gas lines and walked me through everything he was doing and where each leak was. I have a deck in my backyard and instead of having to tear it up to replace the broken gas lines Ernie's went around it and installed new gas lines. Another plumbing company said I was going to have to give up some of my gas appliances, move my water heater and destroy my deck to get the place up to code but Ernie's worked with the City of Dallas so the house was up to code and stayed as is, which end up saving me a lot of money. While finishing the work on the gas lines the plumber noticed my sewer line was sagging and put a camera down it to see if he could find out why. Well an old tree in the front yard had severed my sewer line and it was not draining properly. Thankfully this was caught before it started to back up into my yard or house. All this work did take a couple weeks and I had to have my parents come and stay so there was someone to let the workers in but after everything was said and done I was pleased with Ernie's Plumbing.

Our toilet wasn't flushing effectively, and worse yet, when using a plunger, water would start seeping from the tub. After a ridiculous attempt on my part to be "Ms. Fix It," I knew I was going to need a professional. Side note: Coming to Angie's List is great, but the only downside? There are so many options! Not that I'm complaining. LOL. I decided on Ernie's and I'm glad I did. I called Sunday night and Star answered the phone. She was professional and courteous. I made the appointment for Monday morning. Ryan Calhoun came to the door @9:30 am and was here for no more than 30 minutes or so. He told me that he had to go through the piping underneath the house to clean out the clog. He also told me that I needed to replace the flapper in the toilet. Ryan was quick and focused and I appreciated the extra attention to detail (Ryan told me that my toilet handle was loose and that he took care of it for me. When I flushed the toilet after he left, I laughed because the handle was the least of my concerns, but it was nice that he took care of that. It was almost like I bought a new toilet. Haha) The work was also guaranteed for 30 days, so I was pretty jazzed about that. It's comforting to know that I can come to this website and find a company that I can trust. It's stressful enough to deal with matters that are out of my league, so to speak, but at least I know that I can always rely on Ernie's Plumbing for any future situation. I hope that I will never need them again, but if I do (or someone asks) I will happily give them a call.

We had a pipe break in the wall behind our water heater. Ernie's was prompt, courteous, informative, and professional. Darrell (the plumber) took time to thoroughly explain our options in locating the leak and then completed the job to fit our requests.

We called Ernie's Plumbing in the morning, they had someone out right away. David Myer was knowledgeable & efficient He arrived in uniform, accessed the work to be done, offered an estimate and then worked with us on the price. He left to get the materials needed for the job, returned and completed the work quickly and neatly. The work was excellent . David Myer was professional and polite.

My experience with them has been fine. I have used them before, and I plan to use them again. There is nothing I dislike about them. I keep using them because I like their service. I would rate them highly. I have had no problems with them.

The job went fine. I just hate plumbers as they cost too much. He took $25 of the Angie’s coupon, which helped. I called another plumbers but I went back to them because they don’t have a trip charge; which was nice. They came when they said. They were little bit late but they called and told me. They came in and got it going quickly. I wasn’t too happy with their price. They wore those little booty things in our house. It was fixed in just twenty minutes and the price was a lot. They did fine. I would probably use them in the future.

Jason arrived on time and with booted feet and went to work. Thanks so much! Didn't have to wait days for an appointment. The cost is always high I think in DFW but I am sure I was given a fair deal. Thanks so very very much. Highly recommend

Ernie's Plumbing came out and assessed our home inside and outside in a professional manner. Before telling us we had a lot of expensive things to fix, they tried tightening some valves and checked the meter. It appeared that solved the problem as the meter stopped moving. What I appreciate about this is that we had called another plumber before them and they came out and before they would run a leak test they told us we had to replace those same valves at a cost of $700. Then they would run tests. The guys who came out from the other company were rude as well. Ernie's was courteous, professional, and had integrity with the assessment of our problem. They weren't trying to just find things to charge us a bunch of money. Because of this we will use Ernie's for our future plumbing needs.

We couldn't have been more pleased. Darrell was very patient in explaining to this nosey homeowner what was being done. He was also very careful about minimizing the mess of removing the old heater.

On the evening of December 19, a piece of my commode broke and the handle would not work. My relatives from out of town were here, so it definitely posed a problem. Not being handy at all, I planned to run to get parts to try and fix it myself in the morning. I was able to figure out how to make it flush in the meantime so we left the top off for easier access. My out of town company woke me up the next morning with the news that there was water all over the bathroom floor. A different part had broken and water was spraying out in two different directions. After slipping and sliding on the floor trying to stop it, we finally got the water turned off and propped up the broken lever to stop the tank from filling. I grabbed the phone book and found Ernie's Plumbing and saw that they had great reviews on Angie's List. They were very quick to respond and were able to have someone out in about an hour. Jason was very polite and eager to help. My father had installed the one-piece commode a long time ago. Jason began to see what he could do. The commode was about 15 years old and he wasn't sure he would be able to find the parts needed (they would probably have to be ordered if they were still available). At that point, after talking with Jason, I decided to purchase a new commode that he recommended and have him install it. Thankfully, I was able to run and buy a new one, and Ernie's was able to have him come back within the hour. Jason is a very, very patient person. He expected the installation to be pretty straightforward and quick. He discovered that the valve was not working correctly and that the pipe was not a standard size. He ran to try and find the right size connections -- twice. He was not able to find the parts he needed, and finally replaced everything. I will definitely have him return and replace my other commode in the future. He was very knowledgeable and willing to explain everything he was doing. He turned a very frustrating experience for me into a positive one.

John the technician arrived on time, did the work and explained why the "old school" plumb for the shutoff valve for the dishwasher being replaced was not compatible with the new way to plumb shutoff valves for dishwashers and what the advantages are. The old dishwasher was approximately 10 years of age. He worked very quickly and efficiently and double checked what he had done before he left. We are very satisfied.

JEREMY CHECKED FOR WATER LEAKAGE . IN THE LAWN SYSTEM AND THE HOUSE .FOUND THE LEAK IN THE LAWN SPRINKLER SYSTEM SYSTEM. HE WASN'T ABLE TO FIX IT. BUT I NOW WAS ABLE TO CALL THE RIGHT PEOPLE TO REPAIR THE LEAK., AND HE SAID THERE WOULD BE NO CHARGE.
