They are on Angie's List. They did a good job. We had no problems. It took them three days to do the work. They removed the old one. One day, they worked until 9 P.M to finish the job. They were supposed to do it in two days, but it took them three days. They took a long time to remove the old one. They finished the job on time. They came on time.

The same plumber came back this day to camera my line. He was not as punctual as he was previously. I waiting at home for almost 2 hours for him to arrive. Once he did, he brought out the camera and placed it down the line. I was able to see a crack in the pipe about 20 feet out and then roots in the pipe about 40 feet out right before the city tap. He suggested that the best route would be to replace the entire line from the house to the city tap. He quoted me $5000. Of course I just about had a heart attack. I told him that I had to talk to my husband about it first, so I had to pay for the camera, which was $225.00 Ouch I have gotten several other bids now that are much lower, so we will be going with one of those.

We had an issue with draining. I called them and they were able to come about 1 hour from when I called, on a Saturday. I showed the plumber our clean out line, where sewer was backing up into the yard. The plumber put a snake down the line and worked on clearing the line. He was finally able to get the drain moving. $165 for this. He advised that he did not have a camera on his truck, that if I wanted that, someone would have to come back out on Monday. I asked him to schedule that for me.

Very professional, prompted and made sure to clean up after any himself

They were punctual, responsive and professional. However, the price they quoted was too expensive so I didn't use this company's services.

I've had the outside faucet leaking for many months and I tried to repair it myself. I'made several trips out to home home and garden stores and got a lot of advise and lots of different parts to replace but nothing worked. Long story short the plumbing guys had to detach the outside faucet from the wall,break part of the brick surrounding the whole where the faucet came out and replace the parts. Like I said they were very professional and did an excellent job.

They did a good job, but their pricing was really high. In hindsight, we could have gotten the job done at about half the price. Their quality of work was perfect, they gave us an estimate that we decided to accept. But it was just a bit more expensive than we thought it would be. They recommended additional work which we declined because it would have cost another $150. They were here for about an hour.

They came and they were very nice. The bid was very high.

They did a very good job. They were prompt and quickly completed the task. I have not had any problems since. I would use their services again in the future if needed.

Everything went very well. We did feel the price was high.

Very pleased with Ernie's Plumbing. We have large oak trees around our house and seem to need the roots cleaned out of sewage lines every five years or so. Drains were sluggish so we called Ernie's - because of good overall ratings and coupon for service. They called ahead of time to confirm service was on the way, arrived on time. After reviewing the lines, set up and ran rooter thru lines, retrieving a pretty good mass of fine roots. Drain was still slightly sluggish so serviceman ran the rooter again with larger cutter. We were very impressed with the quality of service this plumber provided, AND his desire to do the job right. Drains have been running like a champ since! Very pleased and we would not hesitate to use these folks again.

We've alreaydy recommend them to family and friends. They are good. They do a good job.

The person who took my information about the needed repair was very nice and helpful. She told me what I needed to purchase before the repair men arrived. They arrived ahead of schedule. They promptly repaired the faucet and gave recommendations for solving future problems with the faucet. They also inspected the ventilation of our clothes dryer in the attic and on the roof. While doing so they discovered that our heater in the attic was not drafting properly. They corrected that as well. they were very professional . I will certainly call them again when I have plumbing needs.

They were excellent in every respect. They arrived on time and were thorough in explaining the information so I could understand it. Their price was a little high, but I paid the price because he knew what he was doing and could do the work well. He was also professional. So far I haven't had any problems. I actually hired him to do more than I contracted initially. He adjusted some things in the master batheroom, as well. He was really good!He went with me to the store and allowed me to pick out the commode and he brough it to the house for me and then installed it. I have laminate flooring and it was raining. He wore the booties over his shoes and even cleaned the floors after he was done!

I found him on Angie's list and called him. He came over the following day to access the problem and give me an estimate. We had had another estimate give to us for twice that much so we were pleased with this estimate. He came the next day and fixed the problem. It took about 2 hours. He did a great job and we are so pleased with the work and professionalism that was shown by this company. Thank you, Ernie's Plumbling. We will call on you again and I will tell my friends about you.

Juan was courteous, efficient and considerate - he installed the needed extension and left no mess! Would recommend him and would have them back as needed!

The toilets in my office backed up, I called Ernie's and they were here in less than 2 hours. The tech. diagnosed the problem and went right to work. The work was done in less than an hour. He was professional and friendly. I will use Ernie's again if I have more problems with plumbing.

We kind of had a bumpy start and this was probably an off day for Ernie's. At the same time. they bent over backwards to try to correct the problems and I think Angie's List customers would want to know that. They were also very responsive in that they went out the morning I called to give a free estimate and were back in the afternoon to finish the work. The plumber was at the house within two hours of my making the call. He gave me an estimate that I think was $315 and after the Angie's List discount, he said it would be $290. I told him I thought that was too high and proceeded to call some other plumbers, thinking it shouldn't be more than about $150. I did reach a plumber that said his price was $175, ($125 with the Angie's List discount), to replace the Moen hot water cartridge but it would probably be next week before he could get there. About 1:30 that day. Jimmy called me from Ernie's. He apologized for the mixup with being told they wouldn't service Savannah and offered to do the work for $150. I told him I had a bid for $125 but if he could get there that day and do it for $150, I would be OK with that and we agreed to proceed. They had already sent me a form for credit card payment so I quickly filled it out and faxed it to Ernie's, rushing out to make a dentist appointment at 2. When I got home, I had three messages about the job, about eight minutes apart on my answering machine. The first was a lady from Ernie's saying the job was done and they needed my payment information. Five minutes later Jimmy called and said that the job was done and that they had my credit card information. 2-3 minutes later, my tenant left a message saying the work was done but that the plumber had no payment information, wanted to get paid and didn't know how to get a hold of me. After hearing the first message, I went immediately to my fax machine and sent the payment information again since it was about 4:30. I then went back and listened to the other messages and heard Jimmy's message and my tenant's message. I then called Ernie's. Jimmy had left for the day but another supervisor came on and confirmed they had the payment information and everything was good. I told her I was unhappy about the other calls I got and asked that she have Jimmy call me. I thought it would be the next day but Jimmy probably called back within an hour while I was outside and said he would call the next day. When he called me the next day, he agreed there had been communications problems on their end and offered to shred my credit card information. I told him I was still willing to pay the bill or at least $100. He didn't seem to want that and he also offered and called my tenant to apologize for the stress the plumber put on him about getting paid when they already had my credit card info. The thing that impressed me most was Jimmy never got defensive or tried to blame the customer. He took ownership of where they messed up and wanted to make it right. While I wouldn't wish this experience on others, especially if you have a busy day, I was very impressed in how Jimmy Young did everything he could to make this right. One other note on pricing from Ernie's. They tend to give estimates based on a book or "bid" price rather than labor hours x an hourly rate, plus parts. In my case, I thought I had a simple job and thought an hours labor plus the part should be plenty. The "bid" price is probably higher but I think if there is a problem and it takes three hours, Ernie's takes the risk rather than the customer. While I didn't like their bid pricing on this job, I can see the pros and cons of it so just be aware that if you call them, that may be what you are getting as an estimate. To be honest & fair, I have seen and complained about the other side of this when a plumber told me a job would take two hours and then billed me for three because that is how long it took them. There were other factors that went into that complaint but I'm getting a better perspective on why their estimate may be higher than I like and/or think it should be since they are assuming the risk for some of the problems they might run into if they give a written bid before they do the work.

Pete was on time, courteous, and efficient. He fixed the problem on the first visit.

Our toilet had backed up and overflowed badly from clogged main sewer line. Washing machine and dishwasher forcing water to come out and flood first floor bathroom and ruined our wood floors. Searched Angies list, found Ernies, and they came out within 3 hours of phone call to clear line. No cleanouts were present and they dug down and found main sewer line and entered it and cleared it out with a big rotorooter machine. This bought them (and us) time to get a crew out a few days later to install a cleanout. During that process they discovered that I also had a leaky main water line at the junction to the outside water faucet. It was cold and pouring down rain but they got job done. Several shrubs had to be removed to access the hole, but they were able to replant them with no damage to the plants. Damien was the supervisor, and I really enjoyed talking to him, so much so that I found a big patio umbrella and an overhead heater to try to make it less miserable for them. A previous plumber had been out to clear the line in the past, and his patch over the sewer line to access the line had given way. They replaced about 4' of line and did a huge amout of digging in a tight constrained area. There is a sidewalk 4' from the house, and they had to dig vertically down about 4.5' to access the line. They left virtually no mess considering the amount of digging they had to do. I watched them do most of the repair, and those guys work hard. They also replaced a drain and trap that collected A/C condensation runoff that was completely rusted through and clogged. Afterwards, they ran a video camera down the line to inspect for other potential problems. We found some roots way further down the line that may give us a headache later, but decided we were good for now. I was so impressed by their work ethic, I recommended them to my parents when their home developed a main water line leak right in front of their house. My dad watched the one guy they sent out bust his butt digging every bit as deep in waterlogged soil, having to continuosly pump standing water out of his work area. Even my dad agreed, for the $, they really do a good job, and know their craft. Also, they were willing to hold my check a few days until i could get funds transferred from savings. I was really surprised at this, and shows the trust they have in Angie's list customers.

Called on a Saturday, they called back and promised someone by 9:00 AM Monday, then called early Monday to apologize and say the person would be an hour late. NO problem. All very professional.
