A/V ELECTRONICS

They had our TV for eight weeks. They said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to get the part. After eight weeks I called and they still didn't have any idea where they were going to get the part. I would never hire anyone like this again. Horrible! Horrible!

I sent my 50' for repair and technician said it would be ready by the following week. Next week rolls in and I have not heard anything. I call him and he says it will be another week because he had to order a part. Next week rolls in the same thing , said the part just came in and is going to try and put the part in the next morning. Call the FOLLOWING week and said the part does not work, said the pane... view morel is out and will have to get a new panel. I said you said it was the Video Scan Cir. that needed to be replaced? He said oh I didnt tell you , your panel needs to be replaced at this point I told him to bring my TV back, he gets defensive how he's been trying to repair it and allow him to keep it another week or should I say A MONTH!! The 4th week goes by and he said he cant fix it he will have to bring my broken set back and still charge me $105. WORSE BUSINESS TRANSACTION EVER!!!

They always do wonderful work. They are really professional and they always work with me on scheduling an appointment. They will come out on Saturdays. They are an excellent small business.

AV electronics was able to have a technician come to view the problem on the same afternoon I called them. The tech said he would have to contact Panasonic, the manufacturer, regarding a fix for the problem. He promised to call when he got information, even if it was a negative. I called them two weeks later, having heard nothing. The person I called could not find the record of the call and told me someone would call back that day. That call too was not made. I called them the next day and spoke to the tech who made the call and he told me he was still looking for information. I have called them three times since without more than a promise to call back. I will not call them again and have written off the money I spent on the service visit as a waste.

The job they did was great. They came in on time and fixed my TV quickly but I wanted to see if they would install a security system around my home and they never called me back. That is why I could say that I did not like their responsiveness at all.

A severe thunderstorm knocked out our power for several hours and when the power came back on, the function display on the bottom of the TV screen could not be changed and would not turn off. It kept rotating through the various functions (tint, color, contrast, etc.)but trying to change the functions or turn them off would not work with the remote or the controls on the set. Called another TV repair store, but they were not sure that they would be able to fix a Toshiba since they were not a certified repair center for that brand. When I called A/V Electronics, they were sure that they could fix it and they did. They offered to pick it up and deliver it for a nominal charge, but I took it in instead. The repair was completed in less than two days and at a very reasonable cost. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that needs electronic components repaired.

THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY, ALWAYS ON TIME, VERY HELPFUL ON SETTING UP THE TV. THEY ARE ALSO WILLING TO PICK UP AND DELIVER THE TV FOR REPAIRS.
