THE BEST PLUMBER EVER!!!!! Four days ago our washing machine overflowed into our laundry room and also backed up water up into the utility sink in the laundry room. We called 4 other plumbers before we found Andrew at IDEAL plumbing. All the other plumbers we called basically said that they did not want to risk trying to find the clogged pipe under our house because they were afraid to break a piece of this older metal pipe & they might have to replace it. I thought that part of being a plumber was being able to unclog a pipe and replace a pipe if it burst or needed replacing! No one wanted to attempt to unclog a pipe..... I'm not talking about fly-by-night plumbers, I'm talking about people that are licensed plumbers in our area that are highly rated! We tried 4 different plumbing companies and all of them were huge disappointments. We were told everything from "we don't get on the roof to clean out pipes from the vent access" to "we needed to replace all the pipes under the house with new pipe!" We were even told by a highly recommended plumber that "if this many plumbers told you that they don't want to touch those older pipes then I'm probably not going to be able to help either." What?! I am still amazed at the crazy, lazy, inept plumbers in our area. We were actually thinking that this simple clogged pipe was just too hard for plumbers around here to fix! I honestly think that they don't want to go into a crawlspace because there's dirt and bugs there! Thank God for Andrew Brock @ Ideal Plumbing!!!!! He and his helper came out to our house and immediately said that they needed to crawl under the house in the crawlspace and locate the clogged pipe. He located the clog quickly and told us the best solution was to cut out the clogged area including the 90° elbow joint and replace the pipe with new pipe and heavy-duty rubber couplings that could be removed should this happen sometime again in the future. He explained to us how the plumbing was ran underneath the house and what head most likely caused the clog on the laundry end. He was very efficient and knowledgeable and was the ONLY plumber we had contacted that had any sense about what our problem was and how to fix it! They cleaned up everything nicely and was even kind enough to take a look at our toilet and tell us why it was filling the bowl so slowly and not as full as it should. He told us what was wrong and he replaced The filler valve and flapper. Now not only does the washing machine and utility sink drain faster than ever before, the toilet functions properly and he was very reasonable with the cost. I would highly recommend Andrew Brock @ Ideal Plumbing. In fact, I intend to tell everyone I know about how he was the only plumber that took the time and had the knowledge to diagnose and fix our seemingly simple (but too complicated for 4 other plumbers) plumbing nightmare.
