Very prompt, courteous service. Repair was a little more than I expected, but I appreciated Mike's professionalism and promptness, and that is worth the price.

Mike came to fix a leak and due to erroneous info from a previous contractor - it took a bit to find the source, but he came back until it was right which is more than I can say about 90% of the contractors out there. Mike has a great attitude and does good work!

Mr. Sullivan came and gave us an estimate right before the Memorial Day weekend. They were out of town the next week and I called then the week after. They had us scheduled for a few days later, were here when expected and the work was done on time and under estimate. They're working well and our upstairs is aroudn 5 degrees cooler than what it was last summer.

I contacted 3 roofers (via Angie's List) for an estimate to repair a leaking roof. Shamrock gave me the best service out of the 3 roofers I contacted. SHAMROCK DID EXACTLY WHAT THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE GOING TO DO IT.
I was impressed for the following reasons:
1. The roofers knew what they were doing. They found the suspected problem very quick (missing flashing around a dormer - apparently it was never installed when I had my roof replaced 5 years ago)
2. They showed up exactly when they said they would come.
3. The roofers were very personable, friendly and professional.
4. The price I paid was very reasonable for the services performed-Thanks Mike
5. Follow-up contact by Shamrock's office was excellent. In fact they called shortly before each appointment to say the roofers were on their way.
6. They were very conscientious about setting the appointment for the estimate and repair after the frost was gone. They knew stepping on grass that had frost on it kills the grass!
7. Clean-up was excellent.
8. They gave me a l year warranty on their work. Other places only gave a 90 day warranty. I don't expect to have to use the warranty as the roof hasn't leaked a drop since the repair. But it is nice to have a 1 year warranty just in case.
The only problem I had was my fault. Instead of just sealing the valley shingles I think I would have rather paid for the whole valley area to be re-shingled. The reason being is the sealant on the valley was black and my shingles were gray which caused an aesthetic problem. BUT, I had collected some of the sand from the shingles which had worn off and washed into the gutters. The roofers offered to embed the sand into the sealant for me which made a huge improvement in how it looked.
The only suggestion I could make for Shamrock is to offer up front an estimate to repair the leak and a second estimate to re-shingle the whole valley area.
Shamrock is an excellent company. Maybe Mike should run for president and run our country like he runs his business.

Recent wind blew several shingles off my roof. They replaced the shingles, using my own where possible, and charged me significantly less than their original estimate over the phone. What a pleasant experience! I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future. They are friendly, professional, and look for ways to save their customers money instead of ways to charge them more.

My recent sunroom (HVAC included) addition had roof leaks almost since the sunroom was added. I had two repairmen to do caulking work on two occasions. On two occasions I did caulking work also. The leaks persisted. I called Shamrock and they caulked skylights. The leaks persisted for six return visits by Shamrock to add major mastic/caulk to skylights, remove and replace roof shingles to mastic/caulk and nail the flashing between the house and sunroom, mastic/caulk the entire area of roof eave-to-sunroom full width and still the leak persisted. Then they applied 6" wide rubber tape to all the roof beams. Leaks persisted. On Shamrock's last two visits they discovered the culprit left by the sunroom builders: a hidden hole in the end of the flashing with a paper towel stuffed in it, allowing water to run along the lower sunroom roof beam support and onto the floor. Water testing shows the problem solved. Shamrock took the job, guaranteed their work and stood behind it all the way while solving a really tough problem that was well hidden from us. Good job!

We called Shamrock because they were a referral from another roofing company who were slammed and couldn't get to us for about three weeks. We explained the leak in our Master Bath, and it was figured to be a broken Pipe Boot. We set up an appointment, but due to the week of storms we had in May, they were unable to get onto our roof safely. Finally, there was a break in the storms, and they came out. Sure enough, it was a broken Pipe Boot. They even inspected the rest of the roof and nailed down some shingles as an added measure... on them.

After recent storms I noticed that a few shingles fell from my roof, so I contacted Shamrock via email to get an assessment of any damage sustained. Unlike my experiences with other companies Shamrock was quick to respond to my inquiry, set up a service date that worked with my scheduled, and was very punctual...and that's just the beginning. When the friendly and courteous professionals from Shamrock arrived at the scene, they assessed the visible damage incurred from the storm and surveyed areas not visible from the ground. To my surprise outside of what I reported, no additional damages were found. Better yet- because the known area was found to have nominal damage, so Shamrock replaced the shingles at zero cost and the work was immaculate. That's correct- when they could have of told (or charged) me anything- they didn't. They told me the truth and charged me a better than fair rate....ZERO DOLLARS! The words integrity and professional are synonymous with the service Shamrock provides. I would recommended them any day of the week. TM

Very polite people. They were absolutely on time. The bill came in 25 $ lower than the original estimate. He honestly said he didn't have to use as many shingles as he had thought. Great experience!

They are very excellent, prompt, the work is superior. He seemed to check around to see if there was anything else that he needed to do. He also gave us a senior discount. I thought that the price was very reasonable. He did all of the work in 45 minutes--replacing some missing shingles.

Mike was excellent. There was actually a serious misunderstanding and mistake, as I had acquired a quote from another company but had not given them permission to proceed. I gave Mike the job, and had to go out of town. I left an envelope with a check for the work and when I returned, it had not been taken. When I called Shamrock I discovered that Mike had arrived at my house only to find that the work had already been done. I felt terrible and offered to pay for the parts and transportation costs for his trouble, etc. Mike told me not to, that he understood, and that he simply hoped for my business in the future. I answered above that Shamrock performed the service since I had intended for that to happen, and I give the approximate estimate for the work. Needless to say I will be going to Shamrock for all of my future roof repair needs (as I had intended to in the beginning).
