Description of Work: full brake job (on a pickup) steering arm and alignment, general check out for a long trip, oil change. Went fine, did have to go back to have steering wheel aligned. but that was because the tool that needed was broken. fixed the next day.

I shopped many, many places for proper care. I drive my mobile office around all day and needed a good maintenance shop. These guys are honest and straightforward about what your vehicle needs or what can wait. Very decently priced repairs and oil changes. I will be recommending these folks to my buddies. Thanks Jerry.

I find Jerry and his staff to be honest, polite, professional, and friendly. They guarantee their work, however, I have never had to take my car back due to faulty repairs. I would and have recommended Jerry Potts Car Care to family and friends.

Description of Work: My wife and I were visiting my son in Murfreesboro, TN. My son had a 2004 Mitsubisi with 190,000 on it. It was in bad mechanical condition and would not go over 45 mph. Motor mounts were broken, the catalytic converter was clogged and the electrical system needed a complete overhaul. Jerry Potts took a personal interest in restoring my son's car to good condition. Since we dropped off the auto and then had to return home to Florida, Jerry called me in Tallahassee to give me the final estimate. The work was completed at the promised date. The excellence in customer service of Jerry Potts Car Care was demonstrated when the car was ready for delivery. Since my son was going to have to take a taxi to pick up the car, one of his employees (Jerry's daughter) picked up my son and took him to the shop. The total bill was $230 less than the price Jerry had quoted me on the phone. In addition, Jerry had repaired and recovered the steering wheel at no charge. The car runs great. We got true value for the dollars spent. If you want professional quality work done at a fair price, I highly recommend Jerry Potts Car Care.

+ -1 moreI've got 9 vehicles & he's worked on all of them at some point in time over the years, including a show car requiring custom work. Brakes, tune-ups, water pumps & A/C. He does good job & he's honest. He'll let you know if something needs to be fixed right away or if it can wait for a bit. He's been around forever & has a lot of history. He's very knowledgeable. Anytime we've had a problem, he's always made it right - even if it's not his fault. He takes pride in his business. There's a lot of dishonest folks out there but I don't believe he's one of them - I recommend him & his crew.
Description of Work: We've used him for years. Most recently worked on my son's car - replaced a timing chain.

+ -1 moreThey provide excellent service with knowledgable, friendly receptionist, mechanics, and owner. I have taken several different cars and a pickup to them and have always been satisfied with the repairs. Sometimes I think that the total cost is too high for what they did, and other times they save me money by recommending or performing less expensive repairs that work just fine. Some of the mechanics have specialized knowledge of cars, such as older Cadillacs. They also can explain the repair or the estimate of the repair to the customer and why parts and labor are needed (or not needed). The repairs are done on time. Overall, I highly recommend them for auto and pickup service.
Description of Work: They have done several repairs on several vehicles, including electrical problems, emission problems, oil changes, suspension work, broken parts, etc.
