Very well. I was desperate for a plumber and needed one quickly due to a clogged kitchen drain that also clogged up the dishwasher which was full of water and food waste. It was a nasty situation. These plumbers squeezed me in the day I called and Brian was really nice.

As we all know that's an ugly day. BUT the team at My Professional Plumber was fantastic! Nola took my initial call and communicated politely and professionally. Master plumber Jamie arrived as promised. Jamie was fixed my problem more quickly than I thought and was equally polite. I recommend My Professional Plumbers to anyone. If I ever have a problem in the future.....gosh forbid.... they're the one's I'll call.

I purchased a condo that had a very, very old water heater. I opted to change it out immediately instead of waiting for a problem to occur. It was located in an attic space and only accessible from the interior. Bill came out to do the estimate, and he put on shoe covers before he even entered the door. I had other, cheaper estimates, but none of them showed that care that Bill did. This professionalism and concern for my property is the reason I chose them to do the work. On the day of the install, Bill & Tyler put down plastic from the front door all the way through to the job site. Additionally, they always wore shoe covers even on top of the plastic. With the exception of the new water heater, you'd never know they had been there.

I am very happy with the service provided. The plumber had a cancelation and slipped my repair in on the same day they called to schedule. He made a temporary fix so I could use the washing machine and we arranged for his return to replace both spigot bibs, since the ones there are very old.

He told me he'd have to fix the shut off valve, thermal expansion tank, and the pressure reducing valve costing $700 for all three hoping one would fix it and "then go from there." Reading previous reviews, I expected the high price but also an accurate diagnosis. I went to Lowe's, bought the PRV and thermal expansion tank, replaced the PRV (it fixed it). Took the tank back and saved $620.

Thank you, please keep in mind, thermal expansion is caused when water is heated which in turn causes it to pressurize in the cold water system. The pressure has to go somewhere so this will cause back psi on the pressure reducing valve, the better quality valves have a by-pass built in that allows the pressure build up to relieve into the municipal water supply. Without this feature or cheap material, back pressure sits on the pressure reducing valve causing failure, which is what happened in your case. Your thermal expansion tank had a blown bladder so in time the PRV you replaced will fail again, when this happens be sure to at that time replace the thermal expansion tank and a top quality PRV to prevent repetitive repairs....and damage to your water heater and piping system which will far exceed $700. 30 years of experience trumps part-time home center employee advice always! I was disappointed in the total scheme to "upsale" this visit. I had paid $49 for the visit through Angie's List -- this was for the visit ONLY. This toilet was brand new when installed 14 months prior to the leak. After a determination of where the leak was coming from (took about 15 seconds) I was first encouraged to become a "diamond member" (I believe that was what it was called) which would give a discount on parts and services if I paid a monthly fee. After declining, I was told that the repair would be $250, for a total of $300 with the $49 house call feel. When asked why so high, he said that ALL of the internal parts would be replaced. When I questioned that (why for such a new toilet?), I was told that was just how they do business and the only way they could warranty the work. After much discussion It was stated that the leak was coming from two bolts under that tank that were not tight. He at first told me that he could just replace the bolts, but would have to go get them and give no warranty for $150. I asked if he could just tighten them and see if that stopped the leak. He at that point said he had already done that and flushed it 4 times with no leak. I said we'd leave it at that (tighten with no warranty) and was STILL charged over $100 for just tightening the bolts and a visit that lasted approx. 30 minutes (most of that in conversation coming to an agreement of what would be done and how much it would cost). That was a total of over $150 for the visit and 15 seconds to tighten two bolts and a lot of attempts to upsale the visit. I am being generous on the costs here as I'm unsure of the exact amounts as I write this, so I lowballed the numbers. I believe it was actually closer to $200 that I paid. Totally out of line for simply tightening two bolts.

Thank you for your review, our records indicate that this was the 4th visit to your home within the past year for separate plumbing issues, so we appreciate the loyalty. The invoice for this repair shows that $65 was charged and GPS records confirm the technician was onsite for one hour. We would be happy to be of service in the future, otherwise thank you again for your past loyalty. Below is your email to us: "I have a 14 month old toilet that was leaking from the bolts. I was first told it would be a $350 repair (in addition to the $49 service call). After much discussion and explanation, it was determined that the bolts could be tightened for $59 with no warranty. I decided to go that route since after tightening with multiple flushes there were no leaks. When it was time to pay, I was told it would actually be $65".

Everything was fine except the price was extremely high. Spent $325.00 plus an additional $49.00 for Angie's List which was eventually refunded. Would suggest carefully checking competitors prices and if the price quoted by My Professional Plumber is in line, then go with it. Problem is, you have already incurred the cost of a service call if you decide not to go with their quote.

It was fine. I thought it was way overpriced. I paid almost $500. I didn't feel like I got anything for the $49 of the big deal. They fixed the problem, I just thought it was way overpriced. They did what they said they were going to do. The work turned out fine. They could lower the price.

They installed the faucet with no problems. But my biggest issue was the price to install the faucet. Since they were just around the corner from my house and I really needed something done today. They could come by within the a couple hours I agreed to use them. Did not know the cost until they arrived for an estimate. In the future I would check with neighbors to see whether they had a handyman to do their small projects.

Everything was perfect. We scheduled a call with My Professional Plumber using their website. We were quickly contacted (within 24 hours) and an appointment was made for 2 days later for them to come out and inspect our washer and give us an estimated cost to move the plumbing. Bill and Tyler showed up on time yesterday morning and walked through our request. They were very professional in appearance and manner (and we later found that to also be true in their work... more on that later). Even though the amount of work was extensive, they agreed to do the job and quoted us a fair price. We were ready and asked them to go ahead and they were able to stay and do the work right away. After 6 hours of extensive work our washing machine was moved. They had to tear out drywall, including two walls and a ceiling. They had to move hot and cold water pipes, including cutting copper and pvc pipes and moving those, and had to run new lines and attach into the drain. It took all day but they worked hard and were professional in every way. The attention to detail was fantastic, at no time was the work or workers unprofessional in any way. The efforts exceeded our expectations. They even cleaned up all the mess (and cutting drywall is a mess believe me!) and fixed up our dryer vent at no extra cost. We had 3 different companies come out prior to My Professional Plumber to quote us on the washer move, and none of them even called us back. We had used My Professional Plumber in the past for a new water heater install and gave them an opportunity for this major project. We just couldn't believe the amount of work they had to do, and they did it all in a single day! We are so pleased with our choice of My Professional Plumber and will use them first for any future plumbing work that we have to have done. We strongly recommend their services if you desire quality and professionalism!

This was our third time using My Professional Plumber, and we were once again quite pleased. Nasty situation - our line became backed up without warning, leaving us without a working toilet or kitchen sink, and backflowing sewage into the tub. The worst. Jamie, the owner, slotted us in first thing Monday morning. The fix wasn't cheap (I can't say how the rate would compare to others, as we have only used MPP), but as always, the work was thorough and of high quality. He kept me informed as to what he was doing along the way. Within 4 hours, all was fixed. Definitely recommended.

I called in the morning and had service that afternoon. My plumber's name was Shaun and he was excellent. After he checked out the flushing problem he pointed out the two parts that needed to be replaced, presented a "work order" with total price and then fixed it in a timely manner. I couldn't have asked for a more knowledgable and professional worker. He checked out my garbage disposal and volunteered a free maintenance check of any or all of our plumbing needs. I will definitely use their service in the future.

Awesome! They were extremely professional, exceeding our expectations. First, they initially came out to give us quotes on a few gas and plumbing projects.Their quote process is extremely transparent and made me feel very comfortable with the fairness of the quote. I had an on-the-spot price so I knew exactly what the projects would cost before Jamie left my house. When they found a small gas leak in our bedroom fireplace, that became the priority and they gave us two options for solving the issue ... one much less expensive. When we called the next morning to schedule the repair, they came out the same day (a great relief to us)! When the project turned out to be more complex (which no one could have known before they opened the wall), they gave us several options and did not pressure us at all to make an immediate decision. They capped the line and created a safe environment while allowing us time to decide what we wanted to do. They most definitely went above and beyond to make sure the work met their own high standards! We will definitely use them again and can't recommend them highly enough!

Thank you Mrs [Member Name Removed], I'm amazed at the amount of people who call us stating that they will attempt to make their own repairs to a gas line, or "the guy at the hardware store said...", it makes me nervous for them and their surrounding neighbors safety as gas and carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Therefore I appreciate your concern for safety. We will glad to assist in any way possible in making sure you have the fireplace operational and installed to local gas code requirements. Thank you for your response, with all due respect, our final diagnosis is that the drain line in its entirety is encased with grease, we can in no way clear the obstruction with our drain machines. I understand the insistency on wanting the repairs made without a more costly replacement, however, two of our technicians attempted for 2 hours to clear the obstruction to no avail. I've brought the concern to the attention of Angie's List as a grade of F for punctuality is not accurate due to Angie's List requirements of responding within two days of a request as we did. I've checked out onboard GPS truck records which indicate our technician arrived within the agreed upon 30 minute window of arrival. We would appreciate a fair grade but do understand your disappointment in needing the grease encased kitchen drain replaced.

They were in a little on the expensive side. They were already pricing me for like almost $600 for something that I can get a little bit cheaper done locally instead of having them do it. They pretty much told me that I have a leak and it’s like I already knew I had a leak that’s why I got them come out. The guy was very nice. I already knew what the issue was and I thought in that service call that it was going to be a little bit more than them just looking at it and go and told me I have a leak. They even told me that If they come back out to actually fix the issue, it’s going to be $59 plus $200 plus if they came back out to actually fix the issue.
