Germantown Hardwood Floors

My husband and I are renovating a Midtown bungalow that was built in 1923. The 95 year old oak floors needed a lot of work to be restored from where we took out radiators and tore down some walls. We discovered the oak floors were also underneath the linoleum in the kitchen but they were badly damaged. I had eight different flooring companies come out for a quote. We decided to go with Germantown Wood Flooring because Vinny was super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They also were able to work with us on our crunched timeline. They got in and out quickly and the floors turned out absolutely beautiful. They sanded, stained, replaced, and added wood throughout the house. They let you pick as many stains as you want to see samples of on your floor. Vinny was always available by phone and even came for a final walk through before final payment as requested by my husband. We plan on making an addition to the master bedroom in the next year and will definitely have Germantown Wood Flooring back out!

I found them through HomeAdvisor. I am type A personality so I was very particular about all the details. (Small and Large) Vinny was very professional and courteous. We did have some concerns but Vinny took care of them all immediately . He ensured we were satisfied with the finish product. We are very please with the finish product and would definitely recommend them to others.

I needed to have some hardwood floors refinished. I went on Home Advisor, and Vinny contacted me immediately and came out the same day and gave me a quote. The work was done within a week. No problems or issues. The floors are beautiful. They did not tape off all the doorways as I was told that they would do but there was very little mess compared to a previous hardwood floor refinishing that we had done. I would use Germantown Wood Flooring again.

Daniel was very rude, and only cared about his schedule; not the quality of work. He said to me that "this is a low end house" so I guess that gave him an excuse to do a bad job. He didn't know that I have a "high end house" that I also wanted floors refinished, but I would never hire him to do that job or recommend this company to anyone else. He did not offer any alternatives unless I pressed for them to problems even if it cost more money. He talked to one of my brothers completely different from the way he talked with me. He would not have fixed problems at all unless I pressed him & he said that he was offended that I would ask questions about the job he did. Really? I am the customer. Horrible experience!!

Daniel G. was very kind and courteous and did a great job removing the cloudy polish on my wood floors (Don't accidentally use Bona polish on sealed wood). Once again, I love my beautiful wood floors.
