There are couple of examples of issues: Tax documents: I had to ask for tax documents, when you would think the company would provide you the documents. Receipts: I had to ask (sometimes even three times) for the receipts. They would forget to send it or "just don't have it". No monthly official report: there is no official report provided for me AT ALL from them. It's written in the contract but they have yet to commit to it.
Description of Work: I used Rich Anderson Realtor as my rental manager for my home. I am currently overseas because I'm in the military so I had to entrust him with my home. Aside from the fact that I can never ever get a hold of them, they never provide me any information on the expenditures. Unless it's an emergency for home fixtures and regulatory fixtures, I don't understand why a quick email is not given. On the contract, there was also an agreement that I was supposed to get on a monthly report on any deductions. I have yet to receive one report for the past year and a half, and, have to ask multiple times for any type of receipt or report. I was pretty lenient and "nice" at first because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. After all, they seemed to know what they were doing and frankly, I could track and cost compare on my own on some of the supposed "expenditures" on fixtures. I can watch my own bank account and question any changes. Not hard right? However, these last two months of deduction without any explanation was totally out of line. Mind you, it was not a large amount of money. However, a realtor manages your home; not your money. It is common courtesy that you let your customers know when you deduct out of your account. Again, they explained to me AFTER I asked, not before. I was a bit upset and asked what was going on. He focuses on my words and supposedly I "threatened" him instead of seeing the heart of the issue. Any customer who has funds deducted from their account without any explanation would be angry. Especially when you are not physically there to discuss it in person and with this economy, it is vital that any scam like activity is questioned. Supposedly, he has enough customers to run his business so he has NO PROBLEM stating right from the beginning that you can "buy me out" instead of trying to resolve the problem. He gives up on you IMMEDIATELY because apparently, you're not worth the time. I have yet to receive an apology or any type of report. I even provided a monthly report format to them and yet I have anything to hear from them. I think they take everything personally. I am about to report them to the chamber of commerce and ensure that this does not happen again to anyone. ALthough not much, I have read some other input on YAHOO.com on their lack of customer service and nother issues. Words like "appalled" was used to describe them. Be on the look out for this company, especially if you care about your money.
