But they were very honest and professional with me. They were also extrememly nice and I would highly recommend.

Removed tree promptly and left the yard in nice condition afterward. After gutter guards were installed we noticed a couple bulges in our shingles. I called Jon and he immediately came by to check them & adjust the guards. Great service.

+ -1 moreThe owner followed up to make sure they had done the work to his satisfaction. I would give him top marks. I don't know what the average price is for gutter cleaning. I'm impressed that he followed up with what was done. I don't know what time he came, I was not here. I have never met them in person. I only had phone conversations with them.
Description of Work: I used the services of Anderson Gutter & Tree Service for gutter cleaning. They also cleaned out a birds nest and they will also be trimming trees.

+ 1 moreThe pricing & timeliness of the gutter work was very good. I got up on a ladder after they were done and it looks like they got the shingle / gutter joint correct too. With the trees, they performed the work very quickly, and their price was cheaper than the other tree companies that wanted to drive a bucket truck onto my neighbor's newly planted yard to reach the trees. I am also always nervous about work such as this, so I requested a copy of their insurance certificate before the job, and they provided it same day. My contractors at work are normally not that quick. Overall I was happy with their pricing, quality of work, and responsiveness.
Description of Work: Anderson cleaned our gutters, repaired/replaced 40' of gutters and downspouts after storm damage. They also took down 5 trees by climbing and dropping them.

+ -1 moreI had a gutter replaced by Anderson about 2 years after the big spring storm took out the gutter in the back of my house. They did a good job. I call Anderson in March to replace the front gutter of my house. The installation was less than professional. The corners of the gutter look like I had the guy next door install it. The splice on the outside corners were off by at least 1/2 inch and the inside corners look about the same. I call Anderson and sent the pictures of the work. They told me they would send someone to fix the gutter. They did some one to repair the outside corners. I do have to say they have not billed me for the work but I want the work completed.
Description of Work: Replacement of the gutter in the front of my house.

Description of Work: Requested a quote on having my gutters cleaned. They quoted me $105.00. Told them I was getting other estimates. They then called me back and said they could do it for $80.00. Have since heard from other people that 80.00 was high. They did come and clean them. Not sure what method they used, suspect that uesd a hose to go around and clean ( was not home at the time of service). But, I have a pick-up truck that's sits in front of my house. And, when I got home, there was so much dirt and debris on it , that I had to take and get it cleaned. Underneath the eves, was dirt also, I assume from the hose they used. Was not happy with their work. They never called me to ask if I was pleased with their work, probably knew what my answer would be! Finally got a statement from them the other day. No address, just a P.O. Box # to submit payment to. Will pay them, but will use them again. And, will not recommend them to anyone else. Was very unhappy with their work and lack of professionalism.

+ 0 moreMy first contact with Jon was in March and he was quick to set a date to come and look at what I needed done. He was on time and very informative about trees. I wanted two more taken down as they were close to the house and he talked me out of it. Gave me good advice on getting rid of Ivey on the trees. Anyway it took a couple of months to get everything ironed out and time set. He was so busy because of the tornado damage in Chattanooga and I didnt mind waiting. When he was able to commit to a set time, he was on time and had the job done within the time frame he quoted me. I was very pleased with his work. He knows his business and works hard and fast as does his helpers. I feel I got a bargain with all that he done and it is a relief to find a tree and gutter service that I can call again when I need this type of work done.
Description of Work: Cut down one tree, topped one tree, cut branches off the roof, ground two stumps, clean the gutters, chipped up all branches and tree, clean up and left us the chips as promised.

+ 0 moreAfter making contact with company, he came out and surveyed the work that I requested to be completed. I accepted his estimate and we made arrangements for a date to perform his services. They arrived early on the date agreed upon and performed the work in a very professional manner. Three men worked for almost four hours, cut the large tree down, trimmed the other tree, cleaned the gutters and placed all parts of both trees on their truck and trailer and cleaned up the yard and hauled everything away. Everything was completed to my satisfaction and I was very pleased with their work. Highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again when I need this type of work completed.

+ 1 moreThey pruned a large fig tree for me, and cleaned out my gutters. They also removed six huge holly bushes and ground the stumps down so that I can replant. They offered to haul all the limb/brush away, but instead I asked that they just make sure the pieces were all small enough (under four feet) for the city to pick up. They were pleasant, friendly, returned phone calls, and were just generally nice people to do business with. My next-door neighbor is going to have them remove three or four trees this month. As a result of their removal of my gutter guards, ever since I have clogged/overflowing gutters. How I wish I had refused his recommendation to remove my previous guards! At 63 climbing a ladder is less and less an option for me.
Description of Work: Tree pruning and trimming, gutter cleaning and inspection resulting in good advice, and removal of some large, woody holly bushes. At their 'recommendation' I allowed them to remove the gutter guards I had carefully installed & had no problems with. After they removed them they gave me the sales pitch on their gutter guards/installation. Too much for my budget!

+ 0 moreThey provide excellent service. They have been very generous about scheduling and everything else. They are very easy to work with. They have done good work. The one difficulty I actually have is getting billing from them so that I could actually pay them. They are a little slow about getting the bills out but as far as the rest of it is concerned, they have been great. For gutter repair I think I spent $350 and totally for tree removal this year I have spent about $2000. They are not the cheapest but I think they are competitive. I would give them a ‘B’ for quality because I don’t have a lot of experience with it. Even the times that they weren’t able to come, they called to reschedule rather than just not show. I would continue to use them in the future.

+ -1 moreThe crew was professional and did a great job. I would have no problem recommending Anderson Tree and Gutter. As an aside, I did interview three other tree services. They wanted $4500, $4300, and $4100 for the same job. So not only did this company perform a great job, they were also $335 cheaper than the next closest bidder.
Description of Work: Had 12 trees (oaks and pines) removed and hauled away. Trees were very large - 50 to 60 feet tall with some hanging over the house.

+ -1 moreAfter the tornado of April 27 damaged or took down numerous trees on our property we did a lot of the cleanup ourselves. There were a lot of trees that the damage was too high for us to reach. We contacted Anderson Tree and Gutter Service for an estimate. Jon Cable, the owner, set a time to come by but called later to explain the he had an emergency call at that time and could he reschedule. We were happy to do that as our situation was not an emergency. He came by promptly at the time he said he would. We felt that the price he ask for the work we wanted done was reasonable and he started work right then. He and his employee worked untill they had all of the tree limbs we wanted off and did a very good job. They actually did more than we talked about at the beganing!
Description of Work: Tree limbs too high for us to reach were trimmed off of six trees and one tree that was broken off in the middle and hanging was brought down.

+ -1 moreAs described above, they did the work immediately, and I was satisfied, because they stayed to clean up, although it was late in the evening when they finished, and it was getting dark.
Description of Work: When the two young men came, and gave the estimate, they were able to do the work immediately. They did quick and good tree trimming, and excellent clean up. I don't know if they are still in business, because I have not needed to call them again. They were young college graduates who decided to start their own company, so it was fairly new at the time I called them.
