This company was paid by the Title Company when I purchased the Home. The Seller had to pay for the service. After Closing I made numerous call trying to get the work done. None of the calls were not returned. Finally nearly a month after closing I did get a call back and the works was scheduled.

The Technicians Arrived and did a good job of installing the Mitigation Equipment. This part of the Job went well.

The next step was for re-testing to determine if the equipment that was installed was bringing the Radon Levels down to the proper levels. Once Again I made multiple calls in an attempt to schedule the final testing. None of the Calls were returned. I finally called my Real-estate Agent and He called leaving the impression that he had a client who needed work done. He received a call back almost immediately and my Agent arranged for my testing to be scheduled. The Contractor finally brought the testing equipment out and the test were performed.

After the Testing was complete I did receive a report within 2 days and the readings were very good so the contractor did complete the work.

My only recommendation would be to never pay this contractor up front and always wait for the Final Report prior to payment.

We had a home inspection and radon test before buying our townhome. The test came back high at 4.1. The seller paid to have the system put in. Greg was professtional and really looked out for our best intrest and safety. He stood up for us when the seller tried to get a smaller piped system instead that would not have worked as well. He really looked out for us and we are glad we had him install it. Current radon levels are down to between 1.3 and2.0, a big change. So far the system has been very quiet and trouble free.

We purchased this home from the builder in November of 2008. Radon levels were high in the basement, so the builder agreed to have a radon mitigation system installed as part of the purchase agreement. The builder selected this company. After having called Greg (the owner of AA) SEVERAL times over the past year to do a recheck of our levels, he has NEVER called me back. Once, I called and he accidentally picked up. Told me that he was so sorry he hadn't returned my calls; that his mother had had a stroke and that he would call me back when he got back to his office. Never happened! I'm a sympathetic person, but this is as unprofessional as it gets. I attempted to call him last month to tell him that my detector was indicating high levels again and that I was concerned for my children's safety playing in the basement. Again, no call. Today, after the flooding, our mitigation system is now gurgling. Instead of calling Greg at Advanced Air we called another company and explained our situation. The woman on the phone at this new company said she knew exactly who we were referring to w/o even giving a name. Pitiful! DO NOT USE GREG with ADVANCED AIR!!!

They were excellent. They did everything they said they would do. They were very friendly and the price was very fair. I was happy with the fact that they collected the money only when they were finished with the job.

Company owner "Greg Mondrage" was very professional and helpful in first determining whether or not we had a radon problem. Our reading was 8 with foundation vents open and 24 with vents closed. Middle Tennessee has a definite radon problem, I've learned. Greg's crew did the work in one day and returned several times to make minor adjustments and do follow-up testing. We chose to have the exhaust fan installed on the rear corner of the house. Roof venting is an option and may be preferable as there is an air discharge factor to consider. It sounds like a clothes dryer vent. Greg guarantees radon readings below 4.0 Pico Curie/liter and also guarantees the fan for 5 years.
